I'm so psyched! I just got a perfect pull up set with the ab straps! My hubby will instal it for me later today. I have a terrible time doing traditional ab work because of my back problem...(smallest amount of pressure hurts my sticky outy spine...) so I saw the perfect pull up thing and thought "wow! that's what I need!" Can't wait to get started. I am going to track my progress daily.
I had no luck with other ab exercises
regular crunch style: hurt my back and hips
balance ball: I always fall off
crunch machine at gym: hurt my back and hips
dead lifts: are okay, but I am used to them and don't even feel anything now
belly dancing style: hurt my back and hips....

I would love to hear more about this as you get going on it. I always have neck issues when doing crunches.
The stupid ab lounger makes me dizzy. The ball works, but yea, watch your balance.
So, please share when you get started on it, and how it works for you.

| Well installed it last night. I can not do a regular pull for anything! But I did about 5 of the "down under" pull ups, 10 of the standing row ones, and I could only do 3 of the ab ones where you pull your knees up. Oh plus I did some squats with it. Now I am a bit sore in the gut and upper arms.

This will build a lot of upper body strength trust me. I use the ab straps at the gym and they help a lot they hurt but they help. I do 3 sets of 15 of them and my abs are burning after wards. I use a dip machine at the gym 3 times a week and it helps a lot with the upper body

| On Monday I was able to like only 7 total with the ab straps. They were not all at once though! With all that I did I could barely move on Tuesday morning. I had sore muscles that I never had using weights at the gym! Needless to say, I took a recovery day on Tuesday! Today I did a lot of the Standing Row exercises and 6 of the abs. I am getting ready to do a few more. My arms are not real strong so I can only hang there for so long.

Start doing the pull ups and your upper will get strong faster than you think. Start off with how many ever you can do try 3 sets of that. It doesnt matter if you can only do 5. 3 sets of 5 is great just 1 -2 mins in between

| I can't even do 1 regular pull up, but I can do a few of the "australian" ones. I am trying to do a couple more each day. I was able to 9 total of the ab exercises yesterday. Today I will try to do 12.

What ever you can do is a start and you will get stronger fast. I just saw a commercial this morning for it and thought of you

| I was able to do 6 sets of 5 yesterday! Not all at once mind you! I'd be walking through the house, stop, do a set, and move on.
