Does anybody do yoga? I have wanted to try Yoga for years now. But, I need something to show me how to get started. Does anybody have some resources for me to look up or buy?
From what I know, yoga is like stretching. Is that correct? Please, if anyone can tell me more about it.
Thanks

I know there are some good DVDs on it. Also core exercising is very popular now -- and I'm sure it overlaps with Yoga.
I work out all my obvious muscles... arms, chest, and so on... but your core muscles support all that and I never do anything for them. Hence my back problems.
I really need to think about it myself.

I know how it is. I am the worse at core exercises. But, I am trying to get better at them. I am thinking now that it is nice out. I will give the ab lounger another try.
I love doing stretchers for my legs and arms. Thats why I thought I would like yoga. Plus, it seems like it would be relaxing- could use some of that during these stressful days of kids graduating and all.
I will do some searching on the internet and see what I come up with.

Be careful you don't only do ab exercises. That's get's your back out of balance (strength) with your back and actually creates (back) problems.
