I have had a treadclimber for over a year now. I was looking for anyone that has used one of these and if they feel they are beneficial for good cardio and for weight loss. I usually use a 6 resistance for 30 minutes. Does any one have any comments about this machine and its effectiveness

Hopefully someone else can answer about the Treadclimber, but ANYTHING that gets you moving (expending energy) is burning calories and therefore good for weight loss.
And anything that gets your heart pumping is good for cardio!

There's no reason why it shouldn't be effective.
Just be sure that you're working at the correct HR intensity. Does it have a heart rate monitor fitted? If not, consider one. You can adjust how hard you work using a HR device.

Between 65% and 75% of your max HR (always providing that your doctor agrees, of course).

Polar has a huge selection... a well-known company.
Click on the Weight Loss Products link, below, then Amazon, then search for:
polar heart rate
Most models have reviews you can read!

Try a search also for CardioSport. That's the brand I've chosen for the last 8 or so years.
York also do a cheap model - don't know how good, but look for reviews, as Peter suggests...
