Everyone watching the new season? (contains spoilers) They started off with a bang again, tough challenge. Each person having to cover 13.1 miles on a bike. I thought for sure there'd be some hospitalizations, but only one case of cramps I guess its hard to really know any of them after just one show, but so far, I'm rooting for Daris. The orange kid with the horrible curly hair. He seems genuine and for some reason I like his voice. He definately could do voice-over work for the movie studios.
Its amazing, but for a guy that's 526 lbs, he doesn't look that big. He doesn't look nearly as big a Shay did or the 454 lb. kid from the last 2 seasons. Its not rolls upon rolls with him, he just looks large and bloated. I think he'll drop weight faster than anyone.
They were correct in sending home the right person. Only one idiot team voted to keep the gimp there (probably for game-play reasons). It astounds me how some people forget about ethics and morals in their decisions. Deplorable.
Also, did anyone notice that Ashley (the blonde girl in Pink) looks just like one of the Olsen girls all plumped up?

Actually it was 26.1 miles the length of a marathon. I find it hard to believe that they actually did it . Even in my best shape when I was riding 60-100 miles a week 26 miles is no easy task. So I don't know if I believe they did it cause I think most of those people would have stopped at about 5 or 6 miles

| Actually Hellrazor...it's 26.2 miles. Hence 13.1 miles each person had to cover on each 2 person team. But I do agree with the fact that they couldn't have done it. When I was at my heaviest and most out of shape (which is nowhere near how heavy those people are), I tried biking 8.5 miles. I did it, but I was exhausted and had to take like a 15 minute break halfway.

Yeah you are right I didn't think about then when I was watching it. I was sooo tired by time it came on. I only made just shortly past that and then I was asleep :P. Yeah I do find hard to believe they all made that with out having a heart attack. I would like to have seen them right after it behind the scenes stuff. You know when the EMT's are putting oxygen masks on them. I hold a steady pace of 15-18 mph for about 10 -15 miles . I only take 1 5 min break anymore and my knee gets cold . On real long rides like what they did (26 miles by myself) I throw in a 20 min break to stretch and have some lunch.

| I wonder how long it took them to do that ride?

Good kickoff for a new season.
My favorite moment: The guy on the white team who's the heaviest this season, loses 34 pounds the first week (I think that was the total) and asks if you can see his abs yet. Too funny!

I think the Biggest Loser is going to have to do something to spruce up the show a bit. It seems to be getting a bit monotonous. Don't get me wrong, I'm still enjoying it. But I wish there was more to it. This weeks challenge was completely stupid, as well as the temptation. 2 complete loser decisions there. Whoever thought of those was completely lacking in common sense and should be fired immediately. What does untangling ribbon while blindfolded have to do with anything? Then have a tempation with a reward that nobody really wants; genius.
The trainers were right to call out the woman on the RED team for throwing the weigh-in again. It is obvious, and she won't admit to anything. On top of that, to get mad about it, the nerve! I don't know about you, but I really dislike the green team. Horrible, closed minded, meanhearted fools. The world doesn't have any patience for people like that. Get em' off of there!
Its hard to really even find someone thats likable to root for at all this season. Nobody has a good personality, possibly the orange and pink teams. Everyone else is an A*H*. I think the show needs to turn itself around fast or there won't be another season after the next one (which they are probably already filming). It's getting almost as boring as Heroes is...

I agree tourproven, they definitely need to perk up the show. I was wondering last night how big a fight the red team had after her being called out by Bob and Jillian at the weight in. Someone asked if hubby had anything to say about the situation and he said nope. If that were my hubby I would expect him to defend me NO MATTER WHAT and we would have had one helluva fight after that.
I agree green team should be out of there. Haven't really warmed up to anyone this season yet enough to root for them.

| was it just me, or was Miggy the most horrible person ever? also, bob is useless compared to Jillian as far as getting results.

Lol....I seem to have a knack for picking out the winners. I'm not sure if anyone on here watches Americal Idol, but I picked Crystal Bowersox to win it on the very first episode. She finished runner up, but should have won in my opinion.
One note about Koli. He cost himself an extra $150,000 by acting badly in the last few shows. He had a 'Im going to win at all costs, and to heck with everyone else' attitude. I think this worked against him terribly. Daris was voted in instead of him into the final three because of likeability. Koli was not only not likeable, but he came across as arrogant and unappreciative also. As it turns out, Koli would have won the entire show with his weight loss percentage if he'd been voted into the final three. Maybe he realizes.
I have to mention that it appears that Daris finally got his first ever girlfriend (they showed her at the finale)....boy was she smokin' hot! At least he got something fantastic out of all his hard work.
