I am starting a new way of eating when I get paid on friday. I would also really like to start lifting weigts. I just want something that will show me the exercises I need to do to work my differnt muscles. I DO NOT want to be big and bulky just toned and enough muscle to burn this fat off of me. If anyone here knows of any DVD's that they have had success with I would highly appreciate any insight. Thanks ahead of time.

Like your screen name. I finally saw both movies for the first time recently. Loved them!

Anyhoo, I exercise at home and I love DVD's that  combine stength training and cardio bursts.

Here are my favorites:

The Firm: Complete Aerobics and Weight Training

Jeanette Jenkins: 21 Day Total body circuit workout

Michelle Dozois: Your Best Body Circuit

Jari Love :Get Ripped Series...These are tough but extremely effective!

Don't worry, women are made to bulk up (unless you are training to be a body builder). We don't have the same amount of testosterone!

The benefits for strength training are fantastic! When I finally added it to my regimen that's when I really noticed the changes in my body. Remember, the muscle you add will create a calorie burning machine! You'll burn calories even when resting! Plus, lifting fights osteoporosis!

If you have any questions, please let me know. I'll be glad to help you along!   I went from a size 10 to a 4 (so far).
