I'm sorry if this is posted somewhere else...I can't find it.

I keep hearing...well, reading...all this stuff about turbo jam, how wonderful it is, how fun, effective, addicting, etc.

Can someone explain to me what it is? What do you do? And how different are the different dvds?

I have a feeling it is going to be over my head. I am not too coordinated.

But I would appreciate an explanation very much.

Turbo Jam combines a lot of the best aspects of various aerobic, cardio and sculpting routines. It contains elements of Tae Bo, dance, Tai Chi, and other martial arts. It combines strength training with weights, exercise tubing, bands and even weighted hand gloves.

All the routines are choreographed to music with sound effects (not corny like you'd think). Chalene, its inventor, is very vivacious and keeps me motivated. She has a group of moves she calls the elite 11 which...once you learn them...form the core of her programs.

The programs can all be modified to your fitness level. All the cardio programs have a Turbo section. This is an anaerobic section where you work to get your heart rate at the max of your target zone for usually 1-2 minutes, after which there is a final aerobic section and a cool down and stretch.

Her infomercials are usually on in the wee hours. If you're up, you can usually catch one. The infomercial actually says it all. This is one infomercial that really delivers what it says. Hope this answers your question. Oh...if you click on Peter's link I think the site has a couple of the elite 11 moves in slideshow format.:dog:
