Hi! Hope I can join in. I just ordered TJ this morning - and to be honest I'm already confused. I ordered by phone while watching the infomercial - for 3 payments of $19.95 I was to get TJ Max with 5 DVDs and the diet plan and the weight gloves and free expedited 5-7 day shipping. Then the phone rep said that for an additional payment of $19.95 I could upgrade to the elite package which would give me another DVD (some sort of booty workout), and some sort of excercise band, so I said ok. Then she offered me a bunch of other stuff (vitamin supplements, etc) that I turned down. Then she said if I made the whole payment at once instead of installments, that my 30 day money back deal would be extended to a 90 day money back deal. So - at 4 x $19.95 plus whatever shipping is (with free expedited 5-7 day shipping), I'm still thinking I'm probably less than $100. So I say ok. So at the end of the call she says thanks, and I had to say, "Wait, what's my total?" $138!! I asked her why it was $138, and she said that she couldn't tell me because the system wouldn't let her go back. So I said, well that's about $40 more than you just told me, or what the infomercial said, so cancel my order. She said she couldn't, I'd have to wait until I got the product and then go through the returns process. So I just ordered an hour ago, and I can already tell you that I am sorry I didn't get on the net first to see what people had to say about them. I would have still ordered TJ, because it looks like everyone says it works, but I'm already not pleased with that company, and I am very uncomfortable that they have my credit card number. I'm actually thinking of canceling my credit card and having a new one issued just to prevent them from being able to charge whatever they want to it, whenever they want.
All that being said - I am looking forward to TJ. The company reputation and my initial impression aside, the product itself seems to be one which most people like. I am 36, 4'8", 135 lbs. My healthy, ideal weight for my height and frame is 88-100 lbs. I put on all this weight initially due to fertility treatments (successful to an extent, but with tragic results - still childless and will always be), and quite frankly to sitting on my butt for the past few years eating junk. I work from a home office, so I literally get no excercise at all so I hope these dvds are as motivational as they look. And I hope they really come in 5-7 days!
I am open to any and all advice and encouragement! Both in my quest for a slimmer healthy body and with my concerns over beachbody.

amy- Sorry about your troubles with beachbody! Wow, you're story sounds just like the ones on the Internet! Maybe you whould cancel your credit card cause I heard that other people kept getting charged for some unkown reason. It's very suspicious that they wouldn't let you cancel or anything... I'm sure turbo jam will be great though.

Hi There, I am 19 years old and am 142 pounds. I just ordered the Turbo Jam Set at a local store which had all the stuff included but I am a big sceptic. I have tried Tae Bo for 4 months and got no results at all, very disappointed but Turbo Jam looked promising. My goal as of this day is to loose between 10-15 pounds by July so I was wondering first if you guys think this is a reasonable goal in a 3 month time frame, second what you guys think of the Turbo Jam series and if you have seen results and if you guys could give me some suggestions. I just don't want to end up getting bored of doing this and giving up again. If anyone could give me a response that would be great, thanks so much

lol yea in the mall that I live by they have a store called "showcase" and it is basically the store that carries all the brands that you see on tv and the whole package, gloves included came to $95 (taxes included). Let me know how your first few days with TJ are congrats on winning it by the way.

Oh cool! Thanks!
I think the delivery will take about 10 days for me.
But I discovered something that totally stinks... The set I bought from ebay doesn't come with the elite 11 cards or the weighted gloves!! I didn't realize it before, but when I was looking at the preview picture again and description, I noticed that it didn't have them! I wish I paid closer attention.
So I'm wondering,
Does anyone have the elite 11 flash cards?
Because maybe if you have them, you could scan them for me cause I really want to be able to do the moves right. Maybe someone can upload the pictures onto photobucket and send me the picture URL!
It'd be really great if someone can do that for me! Or even take some good pictures of the cards cause they don't come with the set I ordered from ebay. But I didn't realize that before.

Oh THANK YOU!!
I'd appreciate it very much!!
And for my weighted gloves problem, I'm going to attempt to make my own.. by duct taping zip lock bags full of pennies or other weights onto some gloves!

Ok - well good news is Beachbody sent me a UPS tracking # and my TJ should be here today or tomorrow.
BAD NEWS - My credit card was charged $141.94 by beachbody. Which, while only $3.94 more than what they said... still!

Thanks in advance for your help

Is it fun?
amy- Have you recieved the turbo jam?

I'm so excited for mine to come...
Taking a wild guess, I'm guessing mine will come on May 5th. Maybe.
So far the package is "accepted" down in the US...
It hasn't been shipped yet, I'm hoping they will soon!

!!!
So I went to this mall today.....
(Not a mall I usually go to)
But anyways...
I saw a store called showcase too!!!!
And I was looking around seeing if they sold Turbo Jam, but I didn't see any so I told my mom, "yeah... I don't think they have it" but then BAM! On the way out I saw it!
I was kinda hoping they didn't lol cause then my parents would say I went through all this trouble buying it online when I could've just bought it at a store...
But it was $100 there so I said I saved a lot of money by buying it online! I wanted those weighted gloves though but they didn't sell it seperately.
itsmax- Awesome!! Do you think you'll be able to stick to it for a long time?
I'm so excited for mine, I had a dream last night that I received it.

MY MEASUREMENTS!
Right thigh: 21.5 inches/ 55cm
Left thigh: 21.5 inches/ 55cm
(I measured the widest, highest part of my thighs. But the middle of my thighs are 20 inches.)
Waist: 28.5 inches... I think!! I don't really know where my waist is. I just measured about 2 inches up from my belly button.
Left upper arm: 11 inches/ 28 cm
Right upper arm: 11 inches/ 28 cm
Chest: 33 inches
Hips: 32.5 inches.. I think.
Weight: I'm not sure! It's always changing. Probably about 120 lbs.
I'm off to turbo jam for the first time ever!

skiracer- I just realized that it shows the elite 11 moves in the guide book! Are the cards the same as the ones in the guidebook?
~~~~~~~
My first time Turbo Jamming.....
I have to say it was alright...
It wasn't boring, but it wasn't all that party fun either. (Maybe I was too focused on trying not to injure myself??)
But once I master all the moves, I might find it more fun.
I don't even know if I'm doing the moves right!
And that first move you learn... I really can't feel my abs! Are you suppost to suck in your stomache or something while jutting your pelvis out and squeezing your butt??? When I try to follow the instructions, that's what I end up doing.. I don't know if this is correct.
I did learn & burn twice, and the 20 min workout once.
The moves are confusing me.
Chalene's really great though! I thought she was going to be some annoying over-bubbly person that was going to be too focused on the workout or something, but she wasn't!! She was real and pretty silly! She made me lol.
She just seems like a fun person! I love that low man voice she sometimes uses.
I think I'll do ab jam and something else tomorrow.
WOW.
Today I woke up at 6:50 am and did the 20 minute workout.
After comming back from school I did the cardio party and ab jam.
MY ABS WERE BURNING, mostly on the floor exercises.
It was really challenging!... I like...
My abs aren't sore now, but they might be tomorrow! I just hope I don't die of pain.
Cardio party was fun too! I especially liked the high low punches and zig zag.
Bad news: I couldn't find any weighted gloves at walmart!
I also did half of learn & burn.
That's TWO HOURS of turbo jam today!!
I can't believe the time went that quickly! I'm so excited to do the turbo sculpt tomorrow! I think I'm going to do the cardio party tomorrow too!
WOW. 2 hours.... I'm trying to imagine doing other exercises for 2 hours... no way.. I wouldn't be able to. I get tired/bored of running within a minute!
Sore parts:
BUTT
SHOULDERS
I still don't know if I'm doing the turbo tuck right.. Like in my previous post:
Are you suppost to suck in your stomache or something while jutting your pelvis out and squeezing your butt??? When I try to follow the instructions, that's what I end up doing.. I don't know if this is correct. That's why my butt hurts so much!
COMMON! WHERE IS EVERYBODY?!!
AM I THE ONLY ONE TURBO JAMMING?!
Today I did punch, kick, and jam, and ab jam!
That's 1 and a half hours of turbo jamming!
The time went by fast too!
But... I found the punch, kick, and jam to be too repetitive and confusing... and kinda boring..
Ab jam is awesome though!
I think my stomache is getting flatter already...
But it might just be in my head lol.
I still have to eat lunch, so maybe the buldge will appear again after I eat.
Ouch! My upper abs feel sore, not my lower abs though.
How do I exercise my lower abs?
I measured myself again, cause I didn't know if a measured right the first time. I think it's more accurate now.
New measurements!:
Right thigh: 54.5cm -- 21.5 inches
Left thigh: 54.5cm-- 21.5 inches
Right calf: 35.5cm (while standing) --- 36.5cm (just dangling.. lol)
Left calf: 35cm (standing) --- 36cm (dangling)
Right arm: 28.5cm --- 11 inches
Left arm: 28cm --- 11 inches
Waist: 27 inches --- 69.5cm
Hips: 31 inches --- 79cm (right under belly button)
Hips: 31.5 inches (on the hip bone part)
Butt: 36 inches
I did 2 measurements for my hip cause I wasn't exactly sure of where it was... Also for my waist, I just did the smallest part on my torso...
Weight: 120lbs. (approx.)
Wow, comparing it to my old measurements, it seems I've already lost some inches! But my old measurements were probably off... Though I'm pretty sure I measured my thighs right last time, so I lost .5 cm on each thigh!
Hi Slimwish,
Just wanted to let you know you aren't the only one Jamming it up. I've been using Turbo Jam for nearly 1 month and loving it. I haven't lost any weight yet, but I have noticed an improvement in the way my pants are fitting. Much improvement.
If you are interested in the weighted gloves you may be able to pick up a pair (they look identical to the ones used in Turbo Jam) from Ross Dress for Less Department Stores. Ross is similiar to Marshall's or TJ Maxx. I was able to find a pair for $5.99 and the look like the ones on the TJ infomercial.
Good luck and keep up the good work.
p.s. I'm awaiting my Punch, Kick and Jam video. I purchased it off someone off the Ya Ya Message board.
I tried looking for weighted gloves at walmart on the weekend, but I didn't find any... So... I got weighted wrist things instead! But I wrap them around 4 of my fingers, excluding the thumb, and hold on to them so they work like the weighted gloves! I think they were $8.
Today I did the 20 min workout and half of ab jam (the floor workout).
I'm not sure if it had made any differences yet in my body shape, but I do feel like I have more energy now!
Also I really love the fat blast one but Im wondering if I keep doing it will my body eventually get use to it and not burn the fat? Should I only do it once in awhile or does it not really matter?
Has anyone else noticed that Ab Jam is only 20 mins (10 minute standing, and 10 on the floor), instead of being 40 minutes like it's supposed to be??
That's weird! On my box it says 40 mins!
Okay, my measurement time!
Right thigh: 54 cm -- 21.25 inches (-0.25 inches)
Left thigh: 54cm -- 21.25 inches (-0.25 inches)
Left calf (standing): 13.75 inches -- 35.5cm (+0.25 inches)
Right calf (standing): 13.75 inches -- 35.5cm (no change)
Left arm: 28cm -- 11 inches (no change)
Right arm: 28 cm-- 11 inches (-0.25 inches)
Waist: 26.5 inches (-0.5 inches)
Hips: 31 inches (no change)
Butt: 35.75 inches (-0.25 inches)
Weight: 116lbs!!! (-4 lbs)
Total inches lost since last measurements: 1.25 inches!
Total weight lost since last measurements: 4lbs!
Also, before I don't think I've been measuring the largest part of my calves so that's probably why my left calf is 0.25 inches more than before.
Also for that 4 lbs... When I weighed myself before, I'm pretty sure I was wearing clothes. So it was probably more like a deduction of 3 lbs but oh well!
