| Is couscous healthy?Me and my hubby really like the stuff but i dont know if it's any better then rice or pasta. Can anyone help me ??

It looks like a pasta, and is apparently high in carbs and protein. Dunno though, I'm not a expert, heh.

Seems high in calories for just a serving, but I imagine you can cut that serving in half and load it down with steam veggies and chicken.

I am curious too. I thought it was 'more or less' like a pasta in terms of carbs etc. There is a new place "Cous Cous House" that I go past every day on my exercise route. I am interested to try it but generally avoiding too many carbs so I haven't gone there yet.

Took a look at the link Forehunnerd.Wow 650 calories for 1 cup ?!Oy vay!!.Mind you it does seem to almost triple itself when it's cooked.But still,650 !!Hmmm,maybe i will just load it up with some veg.....

Its nice with tuna in a roll or what do you call them they look like a pancake ... but you can put them in a toaster.........
Tuna and cus cus is really nice in a sandwhich
I wouldnt eat it everyday
I donno how many calories are in it...
