Im looking for a bunch of suggestions for a healthy breakfast, currently Im eating instant oatmeal and the occasional banana shake but I wouldn't mind some other type of food...preferably something that is quick to make (Im in high school and maybe have about 10-15 minutes to eat, including preparation) Please suggest!

Thanks in advance, Johnnyboy

Breakfasts

Fresh berries, yogurt, granola
. Get low-fat yogurt, cut up some berries or other fruits, add some grain cereal.

Grapefruit with whole-wheat toast & almond butter or a little peanut butter.

Fresh fruit salad (prepare ahead of time). Cut up some apples, melons, berries, oranges, pears, bananas, grapes … any or all or whatever your favorite fruits are. Add a little bit of lemon juice.

Banana Smoothy(not mine, its another fourm users)
. Add a whole Banana, 1/2 skim milk to a blender and blend until smooth.

Vector Cereal with 1/4 cup of yogurt
.

Scrambled eggs in a nonstick pan, cook for about 5 minutes(

Same with me!
I eat instant oatmeal and banana smoothies sometimes. I only have like 10 mins to eat cause of high school too...
Sometimes I eat this multigrain cheerios stuff with a bit of raisons for taste and some milk. I think that would be about 250 calories or so.

Scrambled eggs in a nonstick pan take about 5 minutes to cook, or try some of the really high fiber cereals like pure bran (not a brand name, just a type) or Kashi.   Don't just limit yourself to "breakfast" foods either, a whole-wheat tortilla with lean turkey and a little lowfat cheese is good for you too - get that protein goin!

Adding more...(since you cant edit after 99hours?)

Egg Wrap
Scrambled eggs (or egg whites) with mushrooms, peppers, etc. wrapped in a whole wheat wrap.

Peanut Butter & Jelly

This is a tricky one as the generic pb&j isnt that good for you (too much sugar and too much fat from pb) You can use a lowfat pb and even use freshly sliced fruit to replace the normal toppings. Place on a whole wheat toast.

Fruit Salad
Pretty simple, just make night before or have the fruit ready to be used.

Cream of Wheat
Look for a whole grain.

Be back with more...

This is what I ate for breakfast yesterday....

2 hard boiled eggs with half a can of tuna in water. You can make the eggs the night before if you don't have time in the morning. Take out some of the yolk from the eggs and mash the eggs and tuna together in a bowl. Yum! You can even add a little bit of mayo.

I think it's approximately 150 calories (depending on how much mayo or yolk you have in it).

If this is not enough, you could always combine it with something else. Have a fruit. Or a cup of skim milk. Or orange juice... Or something.

This breakfast is high in protein!
