Does anyone know if drinking too much coffee can deplete your body of certain vitamins? If so, what vitamins are they? Or is it just the dehydration itself that depletes the nutrients?

Of the top of my head, I believe excess caffeine consumption is associated with loss of calcium (via your urine). That's not a vitamin but rather a mineral - still not great news.

A cup of decaff has 1/5 the caffeine of regular coffee so I've made the switch.

Thanks Nir!

I've tried decaf and can taste the difference, I'm not much of a fan... plus I've heard decaf is more chemically processed which isn't healthy. I wonder if I could just drink extra milk or calcium-rich foods to replace the calcium loss? Still, doesn't justify drinking too much coffee I guess
