I work from 10.30 - 7.30 or 9-6 or somewhere around there, and as I'm a waitress I don't get a lunch break.

This basically means I eat two meals a day, and I cannot figure out what to eat for breakfast/dinner so that I don't get TOO hungry during the day - bearing in mind I also work out straight after my shift - sometimes before if I start at 10.30/11am.

Any ideas? Should I go lower on carbs or higher?

I think by law you're supposed to get a half-hour lunch break. I understand though, I work in a restaurant too and I know that 90% of the employees are screwing around not doing anything which keeps people like US so busy that we can't stop for two seconds to do something as inconsequential as...nourish our bodies. If there's space in the fridge for employee stuff maybe you could buy or mix up some meal-replacement drinks that you can sip during your shift. A lot of reports say people who eat about a 5-600 calorie breakfast high in protein and fiber don't get nearly as hungry as people who eat lighter breakfasts. I'm guilty of doing that, trying to 'save up' my calories so I'm not hungry before bed.
