Is anyone eating Toufayan Whole Wheat Pita Loaf; or anything similar? I picked some up the other day and love this stuff. It seems much healthier than any bread out there; less ingredients usually means more nutrition. I wrap some grilled chicken and melted fat free cheese inside one and it's amazing. It also can make a nice little premaid pizza dough for a small pan size pizza. Peanut butter, etc. Plenty of options.
The ingredients are:
Stone Ground Whole Wheat Flour, Water, Salt, Yeast, Malted Barley Flour, Calcium Propionate (Added to Retard Spoilage)
Any pointers on anything here? Of course this calcium propionate is probably not super healthy; most things used to improve shelf life arent. But as a whole, this seems to be way healthier substitute for any bread I've come across.
