Greetings!
I am new to this site but I have found it because I am sick of being the way I am. I am hoping this is a great support site. Anyways.....
I have recently heard about the reverse diet; Big breakfast (your usual supper) normal lunch and a small supper. It supposly helps you loose weight faster. Has anyone tried this and did it work? I have heard so many things about to loose weight and all of it is starting to jumble!
Also, can anyone tell me the best way to tighten up loose skin? After 3 pregrancies and gaining a whopping 150 after the last one kind makes things jiggle LOL .
Any advice would be appreciated!

I am not familiar with this diet, but it sounds like just another scheme... usually to sell a book. Another guideline is not to eat at night. You can read about that here:

If this trick or that trick or that diet pill worked, wouldn't EVERYONE be doing it? It's my belief the the answer to weight loss is learning to eat well. Emphasis on LEARNING, and the FAQ on this website are a good place to get started. No gimmicks.

Hi there! This is my first post here and I just started my own "lifestyle change".
I don't know how much the order in which you eat foods changes the amount of weight you lose. However, I do know that in my personal experience if I skip breakfast and eat a light lunch that I am ravenously hungry for anything and everything during and after dinner. On the contrary, I am very satisfied all day long and into bedtime when I round out my meals and make sure that I don't skimp on breakfast or snacks. I also do my best to see that I get a good balance of protein, fiber and carbs in each meal because it really does help me stay full and keep cravings at bay.
I agree that you only learn from experience and that no diet method works for everyone. Experiement with healthy eating in various ways to see which one works for you. :)

I haven't heard of the Reverse Diet--but it sound like something I tried when I was getting really desperate and tired of dieting. I kept overeating at breakfast--food being the main reason I wanted to get up :) So, one day, I was like, "Fine, I'm just going to start eating a big meal for breakfast and smaller ones for the rest of the day." I don't think it hurt anything, but I got tired of it after about 2 weeks, and went on another search for another diet--that didn't work :)
I've decided that I've been too stressing myself with diets--and while what I'm doing now is a "diet" it's mainly me changing what I eat to be more healthy. :)
