i have read about some diets that advice people to eat fruits and vegetables for 14-20 days, in order to loose the excess pounds and de toxify the body.... any idea if this works??
Fruits and vegetables are natural, unprocessed, and very healthy. Generally the more processed foods are the less healthy they are.

fruits and vegetables have natural de toxifiers in them... fiber helps easily pass out digested food... some fruits have natural antioxidants in them,and some have cancer fighting enzymes.....
