| Has anyone heard of "The Rotation Det" ? I understand you eat low calories for a week and then increase to a higher amount so that your metablism does not go into starvation mode. You follow this for the rotation of three weeks and take a break....and if you need more to lose start again... It is supposed to produce great results. I was told about this diet but it doesn't seem to be popular any longer (an 80's diet) .

I don't know about this diet, but the zigzag method you speak of is explained in Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle (see Products link, above).
However, your concern is that you don't want to end up in starvation mode and stall your weight loss. This won't happen in the first place if you eat sensibly and don't crash diet.

I have been trying to lose a little weight eating healthy foods and my problem is that I'm losing too fast and my face is looking too thin. I know it will fill out when I stop losing, but I hate the negative comments I get.
