| I think anyone who is trying to lose weight, should really try the L.A. Weight Loss Diet . It's guranteed to work for anyone who's trying to lose weight. You will lose weight fast and effective. They teach you how to eat, and also help you change your lifestyle. I started at 326lbs. I am now 280lbs. I still have a long way to go but if I can do it anyone could.

| I've seen it advertised.......have no clue what they're about......but I absolutely ignore something that's advertised THAT much, especially on TV......looks too much like a scam.

I bought a complete copy of the program on Ebay and it's really nothing different than Weight Watchers or any other "balanced low fat" plan.
There are several different color-coded plans depending on how much you need to lose, what your food weaknesses are, etc.
Mostly I found that none of the plans, even the lower-carb one, had nearly enough protein for my tastes.

| I did LA Weight Loss and lost 93 lbs. It is very expensive but it works. That was 4 years ago and after awhile just like anything else it gets old. You buy the bars, cheese curls and biscotti, shakes, soup, salad dressing. Don't get me wrong the bars at delicious. They are out of this world but very expensive. If you have the money to spend it is worth it. Right now, I am having trouble because I broke my ankle last year hiking and got off track with exercising and dieting. I am trying to get back on track again.

Hi Everyone
I just joined and this happened to be the first topic I stumbled upon. LA weight loss really does work. It is expensive, but if followed you'll lose. After you lose you have 6 weeks of stabilization and 52 weeks of maintanence to help you continually so you dont gain the weight back. No other program offers the after care. But, yes, you pay for it. They have different plans based on how much weight you need to lose compared to your current weight. Heavier people need higher calories because that is what they are used to thinner people need fewer calories because that is what they are used to. There are 9 different plans all are calorie counted plans. 2,100 cal and lower. Not fat counted, No points and very different from weight watchers. You eat all your own store bought food you just stick to the correct portions which they tell you. There are no low carb plans. They are all calorie based and 2 of the plans are for people with certain medical conditions such as diabetics etc. People who have to eat a certain way, time of day, type of food etc. So they really do work but are pretty pricey.

When I went to check out LA Weight Loss is was high pressure. I know they want you to buy their snacks & supplements when you go for your weight in's. If you have allot of money go for it. But you can lose your weight on other programs or diets and save allot of your money. I am on The Diet Smart Plan and it is on line, and no extra products are sold, just weight loss and they don't charge by the lb. It is a 3 month program right now. Very inexpensive. I do love it.

| You dont have to buy the supplements you just tell them no. You do have to buy the bars though (Costly) if you want 1/4 the cost of the program back after you maintain for 6 months and another 1/4 after you maintain for a year. So you do get half back which kind of encourages you to maintain. Im just curious which others have maintanance? Ive tried Jenny, $300.00 sign up and 120.00 a week on food 10 weeks is 1,200.00 LA's total cost was under that including bars. Ive tried Weight Watchers, Nutri System and a few others What are you or have you tried?

| The program I am now on, has a coach also, no extra fee either, and it is 3 months then you can buy a week at a time for like $1.45 or something. Cheap. So a year is about $83. or so. No sign up fee added. No other products are ever mentioned. It is on line also. So if you get the year, and can use all the time you want to weight loss and you get a weekly weigh in with the coach by email, and then use the rest of the time for maintenance if you want, and they will work with you to determine your calories so you do not gain it back. It is wonderful. It is not hard but not super easy either no diet is, but this can be a life style and for me now it is. You get 3 meals and 3 snacks and free foods in between all that to eat when ever you are hungry. Not a low calorie program either. They have many on line tools that are part of it, no extra charges, I am hoping they add a cook book but they have many many recipes on the site at the boards. I am sorry don't mean to sound like a commerical but that is the program and cost. Oh they have a contest starting now also. Called The Diet Smart Plan.com not diet smart or ediets. No that is different. TDSP Hope that helps.
