Has anyone tried the 20 in 10 diet by Paul Weeks. I noticed an advertisement for it on the diet and weight loss tips page. I disagree with most quick weight loss regimes becuase they don't necessarily teach you a healthy eating lifestyle. However, I am in a unique situation. I am trying to conceive and will be starting clomid for fertility in a month. I need to lose 15-20 lbs prior to conception to be at a healthy pre-pregnancy weight. I have gained this weight while trying to conceive and my doctor suggests I try to lose it through diet. She only suggested maybe low sugar, low carb, but she didn't have a specific diet in mind. I am a picky eater, but generally make healthy choices. Does anyone have recommendations or specifically experience with the 20 in 10 ?
I am waiting for my Turbo Jam video to arrive. I currently do light jogging/walking and pilates.

Just to let you know the ad you saw was placed there by Google. I don't know anything about this particular diet myself. My Tutorial express my personal thoughts about diets.
Also, I moved this post to the diet forum.
Thanks,
Peter

I kinda doubt anyone has received it anyway. People get on here and ask for/offer stuff like that...and then just leave. I could be wrong though.

Its s shame people are being parted from their hard earned cash by these people (in fact I would not be surprised if 'Paul Weeks' and 'James Zeta' are not one and the same!
I will give you the lowdown on these 'diets', basically they tell you to eat around 800 calories a day of not very palatable foods, drink loads of black coffee and thats about it

Just to be honest, any diet promising to help you lose 20lbs in 10 days.
Is VERY un-healthy. You should only lose 5-10lbs in 10 days.
Losing weight to fast is horrible. Take it slow! :)

This is the 18in4 and 20in10 diet, just a cycle repeated over and over. The only time this may be helpful is for someone needing to lose weight for surgery or other immeidate medical testing.
IT'S NOT A GOOD WAY TO LOSE ANYTHING! YOU WILL GAIN EVERYTHING YOU LOST BACK WHEN YOU STOP USING THIS.
The 3 Day Diet is simply a low calorie diet (as can be seen by the meal plan). There is nothing magical - no mystical chemical reaction that goes on (as some seem to think). Weight loss is due to a sudden drop in calories - some of this may be fat - but most will be from water loss.
This diet is not recommended and should never be used for more than 3 days. This kind of diet is often used by those who experience “yo-yo” weight - it is not a good habit to get into.
DAY 1
Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner
Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
1/2 Grapefruit or Juice
1 slice toast with 1 Tbsp. Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup of Tuna
1 slice toast
Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
3 oz. any lean meat
1 cup green beans
1 cup carrots
1 cup vanilla ice cream
1 medium apple
Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
DAY 2
Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner
Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
1 egg (any style)
1 slice toast
1 banana
1 cup cottage cheese or tuna
5 saltine crackers
Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
2 beef franks or hot dogs
1/2 cup carrots
1 banana
1 cup broccoli or cabbage
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
DAY 3
Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner
Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
5 regular saltine crackers
1 oz.(slice) cheddar cheese
1 apple
1 hard boiled egg
1 slice toast
Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
1 cup tuna
1 cup carrots
1 cup cauliflower
1 cup melon
1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream
Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
Condiments Allowed
- Lemon (and lots of it, if you like)
- a dash of salt and/or pepper
- mustard
- cooking spray
Substitutions
Some people use the following substitutions for the 3 day diet:
- Orange instead of Grapefruit
- Tuna instead of Cottage cheese (and vice versa)
- Frozen yogurt instead of Ice Cream
- Cauliflower instead of Broccoli (and vice versa)
- Green beans instead of Broccoli or Cauliflower
- Beets instead of Carrots
- Toast instead of 5 crackers (vice versa)

Yes, the diet works, ive done it... not 20, but i did lose 17 lbs in 10 days.... probably wouldve been 20 if i did it one more day..
these diets are based on fruits, veggies and lean meats... that is better for you than taking diet pills, shakes, etc...
the reason it doesnt work for "some" people is they gorge themselves after the diet is finished... you will gain weight no matter what if you do that...
