Hi this is Sue. I've been following the Eat to Live diet, and exercizing for about 2 weeks. I'm really shocked by how well this is going.
Frankly I started re-evaluating my diet for purely vanity reasons, I needed to buy bigger pants for a special occasion... I really don't have the much to lose. My husband was given Eat to Live from a friend who is worried about his weight, I read it instead. As I read the book, I started really rethinking my food decisions. Then I applied the principles.
Ok, so what's happened in 2 weeks. I've lost 2 inches in my waist, that's what. And I find this shocking. Last year I tried dieting by counting calories, and was miserable for three months, and gained a pound or two. The only thing that I'm doing is eating massive amounts of highy nutritious foods, and not eating non-nutritious foods (like fried stuff, diet soda and cake). I'm still eating lean protiens, whole grain carbs, fruit... I'm also exercizing everyday, mostly biking.
I wonder if anyone else has found that Eat to Live creates such fast results.

| Hi sue! A friend and I have been doing ETL for a few months ad we both notice losses. Se more than me because she is more faithful because of health reasons to stick to it. I prepare the meals for both of us so if you have any questions I can answer for you feel free to ask. I haave come up with some pretty god recipes too. GO for it!

Hi Sue,
I lost about 50 lbs. within 9 months following a modified Eat to Live diet. Basically, I stopped eating junk food, fast food, red meat, sodas, etc. and added at least one HUGE salad every day, plus more cooked veggies. And, about 3 fruits a day. I never feel like I'm depriving myself, and if I'm hungry, I eat. ETL is more about making a healthy lifestyle change than just losing weight. I see losing the weight as a by-product of more healthful living.
Good luck!
Mike
