I weighed last night. 321 My goal is to be under 300 by January 31st. 22 pounds. This will be a Major deal for me.. a big mental and emotional step. I feel if I can just get UNDER 300, I can pick myself up and attain the healthy weight I would like. I have really been doing some soul searching. I've been saying.. If I can just lose down to 220 or 200.. that would be great. I've been saying this because I've not thought I could be healthier than that. 200+ is all I have known since I was 19 and part of me is scared that I CAN'T. I have finally come to a place where I can place my goal @ 160. WOW. that is ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY ONE pounds. A whole other person. I don't know how long it will take, but I will get there. I am FINALLY at a place mentally, emotionally and spiritually where I feel I can pull this off. My hips hurt all the time now and I really have to fight not to limp. It's very embarrassing. I'm to young to limp. My blood pressure is good, cholesterol low, EKG's great, all blood work is good but that can't last for long.
Todd went with me to the YMCA yesterday and after leaving it was one of the final pieces to the emotional puzzle I was looking for. The other was this really cool website that is FREE that I found this a.m. I ordered the Sonoma Diet book but have as yet to pick it up.. and I don't think I will. I'm going to concentrate on input output and exercise and water & counting calories

12:34 ate my lunch of pork/cornbread and mashed potatoes. I couldn't find mashed potatoes on the site so I'll throw in another 200 calories for those. Total lunch around 780 calories
2:15 ate my 1 serving (5 prunes) 100 c I'm at 1,090 c's for the day. They add up fast. If I can just stay under 2,000 c's a day I think I should be able to start losing. I'd like to go ahead and start the Y but will have to wait until Friday/Saturday. I've had some really good energy today. I've been getting up and walking quite a bit this afternoon.
3:18 having a cup of spiced tea. Not sure how to figure the calories on that one. It's tang, sugar, instant tea and spices. I'm going to say about 80-100 since a coke has 140. There isn't as much sugar as there is in a coke. Later I'll look up Kool-Aid.. I bet it's about the same.
No clue what I'll do for supper. I'm hoping I can get away with just oatmeal and eat before 6. We shall see =)
5:53 fixing to go see what I am going to eat for supper.
6:07 Two eggs 160c Two pieces of wheat bread/toast 140 c two tablespoons of 'I can't believe it's not butter' 100c. From this point I'll use icbbutter for that. Two Tablespoons of peanut butter 180. So 580 c's plus 1190 puts me at 1770 for the day. I could still eat some fruit and yogurt later if I get hungry. If I do I'll report on tomorrows email. I am trying to concentrate on chewing and eating slower. Bigger challenge that you would think. I plan on going up and down my stairs a few times later too.

Monday night snack 8:40 was one banana 105c 1/3 cup blueberries 63c 8 strawberries 32c 1/2 c fat free plain yogurt 55c I blended all of this up with some ice cubes. YUMMY This put my total calorie intake for Monday at 2,025 oops. went over a little. It was the mashed potatoes. Oh well. I still did good.
6:53 V-8 juice 70c not to mention THREE servings of Veggies. I'm going to start drinking two a day. heehee
7:30 Took my Three lac pro biotic and oxygen water
7:45 Ate one pack of WeightC oatmeal 160c
8:00 Vitamins/supplements I am now taking are Cinnamon, Cayenne Fruit, 5-htp, Mega Vita Gel from Vitamin World.. excellent multi vitamin & some gray and purple supplement that starts with an E for women my age to help with premenstrual and stuff.
8:41 Whoo wee. I'll tell you, taking the Cayenne Fruit most definitely increased my water intake for the a.m. to keep the very mild fire in my system to a minimum. Sheesh. I just finished my second pint of water.
10:51 Holy #%@&!.. I am STARVING. I've been asked to lunch. I brought mine but I'll go and eat a salad. I'm going to go ahead and eat what I brought so I'm not tempted to eat more than salad. I have a package of Honey Turkey 120c Two slices of provolone 140c My original intent was to heat the turkey and cheese in the micro but I have rolled them up in to two rolls instead. WOW.. it's really good. I'm at 490cs for today so far. I need to look up salad stuff now. Going to get pint of water #3.
12:16 OMGOSH I'm stuffed. They have a buffet and I asked them If I could do salad only so she only charged me for a house salad. I ate two HUGE plates of lettuce 22c, tomato 33c, about 20 croutons 120c and Italian dressing 140c. I drank more water so I'm probably at 3 pints completed now and drinking on the 4th. I'm at 805cs for the day.

2:24 ok.. all that lettuce is gone I guess... I've got the rumblies. I need to come up with some low cal snacks for the afternoons. If I eat one serving of prunes (5) it will cost me 100c That would put me at 905 for the day and might not fill me up. I COULD do oatmeal I guess but that is 160 that would put me at 965 but would probably fill me up better. I have no idea what I'm doing for supper. I may stop at the store on the way home and get some better choices.

7:05 Skinless boneless chicken breast 380c 8 tbsp of salsa 40 c Smoked Provolone 105c 1 pack of calorie Pringles 100c I made two servings of this so I will be having the chicken again tomorrow for lunch. Total so Far 1,630. AWESOME! I bought these100 calorie Packs from Nabisco. I got chips ahoy, Oreo, Pringles and honey maid. They are deeelish.
I am now going to top off my supper with a pack of the chips ahoy 100c Total 1,790 I am now going to drink pint of water #5. If I snack later, I will put on tomorrows.

My snack for last night was 1 c 2% milk 125c and 1 c Special K Berry cereal 110c for a grand total of 2,025c's for Tuesday. Interesting. I believe that is what I had Monday as well.

7:40 one pack of wc oatmeal 160c then took all of my vitamins and supplements. I'm sneezing my head of this a.m. I made two batches of the chicken last night so I could have lunch today and it was a severe struggle not to eat the 2nd portion.

8:26 hmmmm haven't finished my oatmeal yet. Actually kind of full. Will start pint of water #2 My mood has definitely changed. I was actually awake, perky and in a good mood by the time I got to work. V. unusual for me. I've had a couple of compliments on my appearance today as well. Didn't do anything different. I am wearing a bright red sweater. I guess I haven't really worn bright colors in awhile. It's hard to be 'not noticed' in red. OH AND... against my better judgment, I weighed this a.m. I don't think you are supposed to weigh more than once a week. ANYWHO. I'm down 3.5 lbs... to 317.5 =) It's working. Just wait and see what happens when I start going to the Y! I can't wait to get started. My favorite show is "The Biggest Loser". Last night for me was the best one yet. So far on all of the shows, the heaviest woman has topped out at about 240. The one last night weighed in @ 297. finally, someone I can relate to. I believe this couple is going to win the contest as well. They were at the ranch for two weeks, her fiancée lost 30 and she lost 25. Now they have to go home for 5 months and do it on their own. Ok.. I'm rambling.. sorry.

These are just a tease. they are the low fat and only have 9 or 10 chips in them. I can have 16 of the fat free ones. So there! I am now going to eat the 150c bag of lays I brought the other day to eat. Hmmm. These chips taste icky after eating the Pringles. Just one chip and I'm like.. yuck. weird. Ok.. slash the chips, I have a package of cinnamon thin crisps I'll eat instead 100c Total 910. That's seems like a lot for this early in the day. #%@&!. I'll be drinking a LOT of tea this afternoon.

3:38 I went to publics to find more low cal snack stuff and got some fat free Pringles (15chips = 70c) which are on sale 5 for $4 and some smoked shaved turkey 6 slices 50c, splenda packets & some more Special K cereal cause it was buy one get one free. I came across these Crystal Lite packets that you pour into a bottle of water and I got the lemonade. They are SOOOOOOO good and it still counts as your water! I just finished #4 They are 10 c each. My total so far is 1140. (I ate a serving of turkey and Pringles around 3:10)
NO clue what I'm doing for supper.

10:20 How is it possible that for the 5th a.m. in a row that I'm in a fabulous mood? You know what else? I have not limped at ALL since Monday. Also, I haven't been stiff when I get up in the a.m. or sit for to long. Until today I have only had to take ONE Aleve. My life for the last 8-10 years has consisted of DAILY having to take either THREE Aleve and then by four in the afternoon another FOUR or FIVE ibuprophen OR Four Ibuprophen three times a day. This just so I could function, think and walk around. I have been physically miserable for so long I forgot what it was like not to hurt all of the time. It has taken so much will power just to get up in the morning and put on a smile for the world. I feel as though I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I am so relieved I could cry. =')

I walked for 20 minutes today but I don't know how many calories that burned. I'll look it up later.
7:55 ok I had a chicken taco salad sans the taco shell. it was about 2 cups of lettuce 15c, some tomatoes 20c, Black Beans 360c, chicken 300c, shredded cheese 130c, Salsa 30c, Sour cream 60c & Guacamole 50c so... supper was 960c which puts me at 1465cs for the day. I didn't know I'd be able to do that well eating out at a mexican joint! yay. if I snack later I'll report it on tomorrow's. Speaking of tomorrow.. I am VERY excited for we go to the YMCA for a free pass day and I might actually get to sign up!!

I woke up at 6 this a.m. and was singing and being goofy in my head while laying there about 10 minutes. What on earth? I'm starting to get on my own happy assed nerves. 9:13 Ok didn't drink a v-8 but did go to Ruby Tuesday's and raided their salad bar. had two plates of spinach with about two eggs and two doses of Pine nuts, tomatoes, Cheese and low fat balsamic vinaigrette. I also had some dark wheat croutons and a bowl of Onion soup. I'm guessing lunch to be around 700. Went the the Y and rode the bike for 10 minutes (almost 2 miles) on resistance #7
Walked four laps around the gym and did some weights. Total so far is 1175/ haven't eaten supper yet.. don't know what I want. I'll tack it on to tomorrows.

last night for supper ate a MEGA bowl of Special K and 2% milk. I was only at around 1100. It was about 3 cups of cereal which would be about 340 and a cup and a half of 2% 180 so I again stayed under my 2K.
I am preparing this week for Olive Garden. I will misbehave a touch but not go over board. I can have NO ALFREDO SAUCE. EEEVVVVILLLLLLLLLLL stuff that it is. Over Three days worth of calories in ONE SERVING of Alfredo sauce. I'm sorry... that was my heart breaking you just heard. I guess the world wouldn't come to an end if I had it in v. small amounts like ONE time a year... however, when it comes to me and my Olive Garden Alfredo sauce I am a rabid selfish dog. I order a boat dish of it to dip my breadsticks in and to dip my already dripping with alfredo sauce noodles in. "I'll have some ALfredo sauce to go with my Alfredo sauce please, and if you take my boat before I have licked it clean I WILL stab you with my utensil" I really have to tip well. sigh I LOVE my food.. what can I say.
It is but a miracle that I have yet to leap viciously on the chocolate isle at the grocery store as of yet. Quite a feat when I'm Willing my Auntie Flow to LEAVE ALREADY> I was at Food Lion yesterday checking out and this guy probably thought I was hitting on him something fierce but actually I was coveting and making some serious come hither looks at the luscious BIG WONDERMOUS bar of Hershey's dark in his basket. mmmmmmmmmmslobber. I have to go to the store again this a.m. I may have to see how many c's are in one serving of the darkest chocolate you can get. DARK chocolate is actually GOOD for you if you don't over do it.
OH>> I know what I was going to say.. As I may have already mentioned... I requested ( I have no shame) and received my sign up fee and 1st months fee at the Ymca for my Birthday. They offer TONS of classes including water aerobics and such. Tomorrow I meet with a trainer to discuss the most effective use of my time and how to correctly use the machines. It is a 12 week fitness training.
HA I will be back in those PURPLE Rocky mountains but again only to realize that they are terribly out of style now.. but do I care?? NOooooo, I will be walking around with a big purple rocky mountain arse until I can't wear them anymore because they are TO BIG> So... you have been warned.
Now... I must away to the store =) I have NOT a clue what's for breakfast yet. Possibly one serving of DARK chocolate... muwhahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa< /FONT >

ok.. didn't find exactly what I wanted.. Hershey's 60% dark but I DID find Ghirardelli 60 dark. It's four large individually wrapped squares for 220 I think. So I'll divide that by four and I can have one for xx calories. Hoohrah! I can still have chocolate.
Lunch was around 1:30 I had less than 9 but more than 8 ounces of lean top round pan cooked with Pam. 600c and two servings of Pringles fat free 140c total so far 810. I haven't tried my chocolate yet. Having burgers for supper so I have to see how than pans out first.
6:00 I made two Lean Turkey patties .. one for tonight and one for tomorrow. my site had it listed as 200 per patty. I bought the leaner package but my patty was a good size so I'll stick about 220 per patty. I also had one slice of provolone 70c and one slice of American 70c
I used miracle whip light, mustard and ketchup 60c I sliced up like fries and baked with butter Pam a little less than half a potato 150c supper total 570 total for the day 1380. I believe I'm going to walk my sassy arse into the kitchen and grab a square of dark choc slurp.
6:31 two 1x1 squares of Ghirardelli 60% dark chocolate. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Oh by the way.. I have had three things of water today.

6:50 Drank 1st pint of water on the way to work
7:10 Really Hungry this a.m. Took Three Lac and made my wc oatmeal 160c and took all of my vitamins. I have added Fish Oil. The purple supplement I've been taking but couldn't remember the name of is EstrinD. I've been reading up on the dreaded Loose skin that happens when you have been large for so long that makes you look like a shar-pei dog. This apparently happens because your Fat % is still to high AND it also happens to people who have cut out most of the carbs in their diet. Carbs is what keeps us/our skin hydrated. Who knew. I'm eating well balanced and not cutting anything out, while making sure I'm including a little of everything in what I do eat. I'm trying not to buy or eat things high in fat or sugar. My main thing though is staying at 2k or less. I go in to the Y this evening to meet with my trainer person.
10:00 Finished water #2 Got some coffee half caffeine half not and added a 50c pack of no sugar added cocoa to it.
10:39 'Making' Lemon Crystal lite water. 10c I found some Popsicles by Popsicle brand that uses Splenda INSTEAD of Aspartame/NutraSweet.
It's a mulit pack that includes cream sicles 20c, fudge 35c and regular popsicles 10c. I haven't tried the fudge yet but the other two aren't bad. I had a couple last night around 9:30. I am wearing a pedometer today. Curious to see how much I walk in an average day.

I wore a pedometer today. Total distance in steps since 6 this a.m. is 1.184 miles or 3,689 steps
9:01 OH MY GOODNESS. I just made the Absolutely MOST deliscious smoothie for my night snack. 1 cup frozen Blackberries 62c, 1 cup strawberries (halved) 49c , 1/4 cup blueberries 21c and 1 cup plain fat free yogurt blended up in the blender 110c. splenda to taste. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
It's important that one of your items is frozen so it's a good cold consistency. Splenda is divine and a lifesaver. I don't like the after taste of sweet n low and aspartame (Nutra sweet and I don't get a long). I keep 'loose' splenda in a storage container just like I would sugar and I also keep individual packets of it as well. I HIGHLY recommend it. now.. what was I saying.. Oh yea.. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm so my total for Monday is 1697 Hoofrigginrah! I'm going to go pass out now.

WOW INTENSE Cardio, weight and abdominal for ONE HOUR> I am POOPED> worked out for and hour and 45 minutes today. sheesh.

6:59 Over halfway to work and just remembered I am supposed to be drinking my 1st water for the day... :?oops.
7:30 WC oatmeal 160c finished initial water.. started the second oxygen water and took all my 'vities' Was v. surprised this a.m. that I was not dead or at least limping severely after the major workout I had yesterday :). I thought I would at least have trouble moving my arms. I can tell I worked out but I'm not horridly sore. I'm thinking it's the Three Lac (probiotics) I'm taking which is supposed to help with Fibro symptoms. Nice to know it's working :D.
11:30 Ruby Tuesday's salad bar. Two Massive plates of spring greens and spinach 50c to which I added about half and egg 40c a huge gob of pine nuts , tomatoes 25c cheese 70c croutons (dark wheat) 100c and fat free vinaigrette 25c I also drank water. gearing up for my Olive Garden supper.
c's so far today 500 or so. I don't know how to count pine nuts so I'll bump it up to 600 for the day.
3:44 Ugh.. haven't been drinking my water or anything else today for that matter.. and I can tell now.. I"M PARCHED. I've had two bottles of water plus some at lunch.. It's more than I used to drink I reckon.
I walked across the street today instead of driving and I just go up from my desk and walk around the inside of the building some. don't know yet if I am going to the Y tonight.
Ok Didn't go to the Y.. sat here at my desk trying to figure out this Razor V3 phone which is WAY to much phone for me obviously. ARGH
How many calories do you burn when you are irritated????
ANYwho.. Got around to eating about 6:30. Had one small plate of Olive garden salad then two more 'bustier' plates of salad. I only ate ONE FRIGGIN Bread stick. This is truly miraculous! I normally eat at least FOUR.. dripping in sauce of course. Not one drop of Alfredo sauce touched my lips. For my entree I ordered Parmesan crusted White Fish that starts with a T. It was V. Delicious. with it came grilled Yellow squash and zucchini and about a cup of Angel hair pasta with garlic and butter. I also ate ONE Andes mint. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm my favorite!
I have yet to look all this up. I was at 600 before I left So I'm going to just call it a day and say I busted up to 2,600. I'll actually look it up later when I have time and report back.

Please keep it up and stay motivated.
I have to keep telling myself, "You eat to live and not live to eat" I too am a self confessed foodaholic, but it's my only vice, still no excuse.

7:30 wc oatmeal 160c and 2nd pint '0 water w/ three lac and vitamins. I'm still amazed that I'm not stiff and sore in the a.m.'s when I get up. I think I am starting to sleep better as well. The biggest loser was great last night. 'my couple' won! The almost 300 pound girl lost down to 220 and LOOKED fabulous! Next week they are doing dueling families again.. and they are both restaurant owners.. should be v. interesting to watch. In the previews Jillian (the trainer) handcuffed the dad to the treadmill... heehee DRAMA I'm going to Aqua POWER again tonight.. actually pretty excited about it... I really need a different suit. Class can be VERY revealing sometimes while catapulting out of the water over and over.
It's a different teacher now though and this one isn't as tough.. I'm kind of disappointed. Who knew you could sweat while IN THE WATER??

7:30 ate supper.. I know that's late but my Aqua Power class is at 6. sirloin broiled over 6 oz 500c 1 cup of brown rice with lots of squash and zucchini in it. 200c Squash 60c

Total for the day is 1365c's
My power aqua aerobics class was ok tonight but it was a different teacher and she wasn't as intense... I was kind of disappointed but I still feel good.

11:00 ate 50c worth of Turkey and had some coffee with chocolate in it 50c
2:00 Been craving pancakes for about two days. 3 pancakes are 200c's. I modified the recipe and used egg beaters and ICBINot butter and watered down milk. They came out crepeish.. but were still deeelish. 600c's (including syrup.. didn't use much) Also, I sprayed my pancakes with ICBINot butter spray.. YUM
5:30 Looked up venison.. I believe it's goto to be one of the leanset meats ever. various cuts of venison are between 120-150 c's for 3 oz
stripped it up and seared it using olive oil garlic and onion powder, texjoy and some flour. (will be converting to WHEAT flour next grocery trip).
Also made modified mashed potatos and ate about a cup.. probably 300c Meat was about 500. Drank 1 cup 2% and had a 10c water
total for the day 1700 =) I did not work out today. I have decided that I will be doing water aerobics M W F in the a.m. before work, T TH after work and SAturday's @ 8 a.m. I'm taking Sunday's off unless it's something fun like hiking or walking in the park.

| Back when I had land (and a house, etc.) I would hunt every year for deer. I love Venison. Never had a problem with gamey taste. I would cook as steaks on the grill, or use in chili, stews, etc. Not a big fan in chili though, not enough fat in the meat to add decent flavor. IMHO, when I put it in chili, it was the worse batch of chili I ever made. BUT I find that it is great in stews.

Congratulations. You are doing great. Keep up the hard work. Fibro is a tough thing to overcome. I am glad that you are finding relief. I also suffer from that and it is a daily battle to not over do, but also to not under do. I find that when I am more active I feel better.

We go out for one deer every year as well. We actually field dress while we are out, then we DRAG it back to the truck... might I suggest a back brace!
If you will soak your venison over night in milk and salt water it does wonders! As far as chili... if you will also add some ground sirloin to your chili it makes a big differece. Also for my deer chili I put my deer chunks (ok.. that sounds gross.. sorry:?) straight from the milk salt water in to a bowl where I add flour and the seasonings and stir it up real good so the deer meat gets coated. then I sear it in a pan using pam spray then I add it to my v-8 juice and liquid chili mixture... then i cook the sirloin mix in the spices and add that to the rest in my slow cooker. DEEELISH>
I use deer meat for everything and if you pre treat it right it is FABULOUS grilled like steak.

As was stated, you field dress the deer/animal then drag it out. it is really not too tough, but if you do get a large deer, it helps to have a friend help drag. I have heard of some people that hunt elk/caribou, etc. that actually butcher the animal right on the spot and then just haul the meat out.
My hunting was always with a couple miles from my house. If I hunted on the hill above my house, then it was all down hill drag. If I hunted down below my house, then I would drive my truck to a parking place for a shorter drag. BUT, it is definately a workout, compounded with cold temperatures, heavy clothes, etc.

My lower back is so #%@&! off and has been for a couple of days. I'm guessing it's one of the abdominal machines I've been doing that also works your lower back so I'm going to stick with mainly water aerobics for now. Went to class this a.m. got there about 20 minutes early, sat in the hot tub for 5 minutes and stretched then go in the pool (BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR chatter chatter) and started my water jogging and twisting.. back feels better now. I'll have to get to class early in the a.m.'s in order to leave early so I have time to de-clorinize before work. I still feel as though I reek of chlorine.. maybe it's in my nose hairs.....
5:10 a.m. yes I said A.M. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz snort.. uh.. oh yea... um drank a v-8 70c
5:30 a.m. jiggling my arse off in the water. WHO KNEW your body would jiggle that much. SHEESH. It's like being hooked up to one of those wiggle machines you use to see on TV that has a belt they strap around your waist that makes you look like you have palsy or something. I could do one of those chocolate milk commercials and shake up their milk for them...
7:00 a.m. on my way to work STILL reeking of Chlorine.. how on earth do you get this stuff off??? Drank one and half pints of water.
7:30 took three lac, vitamins AnOTHER pint of water and ate my oatmeal. 160 CAn I just say.. I am VERY AWAKE. It's true what they say as much as I ate to admit it. Working out in the a.m. really gets you going.
9:58 Coffee w/ sugar free hot cocoa and splenda 50c I just picked up my free copy of 'The Sweet Potato Queens' Divorce/Wedding guide. I couldn't stay for the talk and bless her heart she went ahead and signed it for me. She's good people. =D
I still reek of chlorine but I feel fabulous. If it weren't for my back I could run around the building it seems. No clue were this energy is coming from but is sure is niiice.

6:25 Did NOT want to get up. This last teacher really worked me hard yesterday. WHOOOOOOWWEEEEEEEEEEE. I wouldn't say that I'm stiff but I'm most definitely feeling every muscle I have and some I didn't know existed.

Kitti sent me a note of interest this a.m. Whenever I take swim class in the a.m. I'm ravenous most of the day. It's got something to do with temperature and vessels constricting and not releasing the 'you are full' chemical thingy... um..Kitti is seriously cringing at this point.. sorry. ANYwho.. the point is...
I normally get in the hot tub then the sauna after class, however in the a.m. I'm trying to hurry up and get ready for work so I go straight from class to get ready. Hence my supposed starvation. If I'll warm up and get hot for at least 15 minutes then I won't be so hungry. Don't know how I'm going to pull that off yet though. Maybe 5 minutes in the hot tub..followed by a v. hot shower then a v. hot ride to work?
10:22 By the way.. as of this afternoon I am officially switching FROM WHITE PROCESSED flour to WHEAT flour. I reckon if I can develop a taste for this weight control oatmeal which originally tasted like lumpy wet cardboard, but now is Verrrrry tasty,, then I can make the switch from white flour to wheat. So there. OH AND... I'm ditching the sugar in the house and replacing it with Splenda.

Good news for me I'll tell ya. I'm eating right under 9 ounces (I finally procured a food scale from Bed, Bath and Beyond) so my calories in chicken today are, hmmm well I'm not sure how to figure this one up so I'll say 228c's I've been avoiding eating chicken breast because I thought it was to high in calories... glad I looked it up again. Sheesh.

I bought the 'Reduced Fat Snack n Cheese to-go! Co-Jack'
They are individually wrapped single servings. They also had Mild Cheddar. They are 60c a pack and I ate two. DEEEVINE I tell you... 120c AND last but not least... You know I've been talking about the Nabisco 100c packs.. wellll KEEBLER has come out with their own version & I bought the Shortbread Sandies. Honey.. any food that has BREAD or CHEESE built right in to the title is on my favorite food list. rrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrr smack smackrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! luscious! So here it is.. 8:20 p.m. I just got home from my Class and I am at Nine hundred and frickin' Fifty Eight Calories.

I went to my water aerobics this a.m. at the butt crack of dawn and I haven't eaten anything I'm not supposed to. I've been doing this since January 9th so I guess one feeling bad day out of 17 isn't to bad.
I'm not necessarialy in a bad mood.. I just don't feel well. Having trouble with my fibro symptoms. Hopefully this will pass. At least I have worked out already so I can go home and go to bed hopefully.

it's short for Fibromyalgia.... see why I abbreviate. It effects people differently. In my case, it makes me feel like I am running a fever and I ache all over.

Thanks. Water Aerobics has made a big difference. it's nice to be able to work out and move around without paying for it the next day. Believe it or not, I think the Pro Biotics and Oxygen Elements Plus I add to my water has really helped with my symptoms.

4:50 a.m. DRUG myself out of bed and drank a v-8 70c on the way to the Y for class
7:00 Drinking black coffee and eating a pack of 100c sandies
7:50 eating my WC oatmeal and inhaling chlorine. yay. 160c I'm a little groggy today with an under lying layer of energy.. v. strange. 330c
We did some kickboxing moves in the water today for about 10 minutes. Can I just say here and now.. your body can do things in the water that are IMPOSSIBLE on land. I think I've missed My true Species calling. the Chlorine is reeking havoc on me though. My skin and hair both HATE it. I'm going to look FABU and be BALD. I did buy some lavender Baby oil and I use this straight out of the shower... I think it's helping. Must find bathing cap... preferably NOT one with latex flowers all over it. I try not to be noticed walking to the pool as it is. Imagine if you will a 300 pounder partially covered in swimming spandex that doesn't want to be noticed out of the water. HEY I KNOW>> Let's throw goofy looking #%@&! on her head too! I guess if my options are bald or V. short FRIZZY hair or to wear a granny cap while exercising.. I'll take the cap. Maybe I can find one with Magenta, Puse and Orange flowers.
8:30 Have as yet to drop my pedometer.. maybe today won't be so bad. I'm wearing a pair of pants I haven't been able to wear in a long time. I really thought they would fit a little better though... good thing I don't know where the scale is.

This has made me feel a little better. The thought that I of all people could be an inspiration to anyone kind of cracks me up but is kind of neat.
4:00 I have survived the ENTIRE day without my pedometer crashing to the floor.
5:36 I just got back from the store where I had to exchange a birthday sweater my mom got for me because she bought it in my original size 4x. I exchanged it for a 2x sweater that is probably cut big. It doesn't bag on me the way I normally prefer tops to do but the fact that I can comfortably WEAR a 2x is v. awesome. I think I'm going to lay down and take a nap and eat later while watching The Biggest Loser. Should be REALLy entertaining tonight.

We won't discuss of course that I have to turn on the heat and put on three layers of clothes to enjoy this deeeevine partially frozen confection.....

Congrats on getting up and to the Y so early.
I'm sure it's being compulsive that led to my eating disorder, but then that same complusiveness got me up at 5 am every day to make it to the gym when I was working. And I had an hour commute and worked 10 or so hours a day. Hardly had an evening at all... rushing to eat and do chores and get to bed.
Then I retire and start this website for a hobby and now I work more hours than before! Guess we are who we are.

WOKE UP LATE.. didn't get to work until 8:30. Alarm went off @ 4:30 a.m. and instead of hitting SNOOZE I turned it off. ooops. Looks like I'll be going to the 6p.m. water aerobics class today.
9:00 oatmeal 160c pills and water...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
10:00 THE weirdest thing just happened to me... I'm sitting at my desk working when I had one of those 'silent air burps' and just as sure as I'm sitting her typing this up I had a PUFF of cinnamon powder exit my Mouth. WHAT THE ?? V. STRANGE I'm telling you now.. I SAW it leave my flapper.. in a puff.. at least it smelled good. Ok.. that was just gross.. sorry.. but it's the truth. I've been taking this stuff for almost a month now and this has NEVER happened. Thank goodness it wasn't the Cayenne fruit. If it's possible, I guess my stomach was "dry".
I didn't drink my v-8 or water on the way to work and I had only half a pint of water at that point.
10:19 Pedometer steps so far..282 Drops on the floor...ZERO NO CLUE what I'm doing for lunch. Waking up late really screwed my planning stuff up.

11:53 I am HONEGRAY :chew:... 37 minutes until salsa time.
7:51 Ok... it's almost 8 and I didn't journal as I went along... ARGH.. Ok LUNCH was FABU. taco salad sans shell and or chips.
It was about two cups of lettuce 15c some Tomatoes 20c Black Beans.. a Scoop.. not sure how much.. 1/2 maybe? 360c chicken 200c cheese 150c I had 5 things of Pineapple salsa. Ok.. One cup of Pineapple is 75c but I didn't have that much pineapple. Two tablespoons of Salsa is 10 c's. the plactic cups I used were about 1 tbsp each SO. I had we'll say 80c's of salsa though that is probably over estimating. I had sour cream 60c amd Guacamole 50c and I had a spoon full of garlic mushrooms 30c's 16 oz Fruit tea 110c 1435 so far for the day. Time to peruse the kitchen Ok.. finally I can go eat supper.
One grilled cheese sandwich.. Ffree american/smoked Provolone/two pieces of lite wheat cooked with butter spray 170 1 cup 2% 125 one cup cereal 125 also ate one cheese to go package earlier 60c 1915 for the day.

grumble grumble grumble 
I got up this a.m. at ohgodthirty and weighed on my dinky little electronic scale that came out of hiding because my room mate is home and i'll be a SOB if it only reflects that in almost three friggin weeks I've only lost 6 lbs. SIGH
I get to the Y and used their scale (the kind you see in a Dr's office) and it recoreded 311 which would be 10 pounds which is better than the six at home but you would THINK with my drastic lifestyle change it would have been more. I was REALLY hoping to be under 300 by my birthday on Tuesday. Oh well.
I know I need to be patient "Slow weight loss is healthy weight loss" YADDA YADDA YADDA It's just a little discouraging. I'm not going to give up or anything dumb but I can't help but be a little hisheartned. at this rate, to lose 161 lbs it's going to take a couple of years. SHEESH
Ok... Pitty party over.
on the bright side.. I feel better THAN EVER... MORE ENERGY & I'M IN A GOOD MOOD EVERYDAY. Even on the bad day I had on Wednesday I felt better than ususal and I'm no longer putting bad #%@&! into my body. My body is probably freaking out and will kick in to lose mode in a couple of weeks when it figures out we aren't starving to death.
Just so you know.. I WILL be eating SUSHI (food of the gods) on my birthday and white on white cake for my birthday a couple of weeks after when I celebrate it with family :yumm: I will try to limit myself to only one piece though.. even if that piece is a CORNER

You've done a great job at patting yourself on the back. You are loosing at a healthy pace that in the long run will more likely ensure that you don't put it back on.
I agree tho that your body is probably freaking out...I think you may be in a bit of a starvation mode based on the calories you post. If it works for you and you can stick to it, then you've found your perfect eating plan. That's what really matters.
I also want to tell you how much I admire your activity level. Fibro is very painful and you are pushing through with tremendous perseverance. Bravo!

4:45 drove to Y and forgot my water.
7:00 left Y with cup of coffee
8:00 ate my oatmeal and took vitties. managed to get down a pint of water. Didn't do to great yesterday on water either.. will have to vamp up liquid intake. Does coffee count?? 160c
11:30 chicken taco salad at a different place.. wasn't as big and didn't have beans, mushrooms or guacamole and I resisted eating chips and the taco salad shell. 700c
2:30 100c pack of sandies and some green tea blueberry 960c for the day so far. I was in the bathroom earlier being all proud because I had as of yet to drop my #$%@ pedometer when much to my slight embarrassment, the darn thing not only fell OFF but it scooted it little purple arse right under the next stall far enough that I couldn't see it. What did I do Wait till the mystery woman scootched it back over to me you say NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I stuck my foot under her stall and drug it back before I knew what I was doing. Needless to say.. I washed my hands v. quickly and got out of there. I guess I've been v. busy today.. I have only taken 382 steps OR it doesn't work v. well any more to which I say pbththththththththththththhhhhhhhhhhhh :P
4:30 Went to Food Lion to reload on oatmeal and snacks and bought some Flounder (only 100c per 3 ounces!) and some more ground turkey. There were two different brands of ground turkey so I compared labels.. BIG DIFF. One package was 160c per 4 ounces and the other was 220 per 4 ounces. The Oscar Myer packs of Shaved meat I have been buying also come in Roast Beef...10c more per serving so I got a package to use for Supper.
6:00 two servings of roast beef 120c my lite wheat 70c one slice smoked provolone 70c one slice of ffree American 30c and Mustard. HOLY #%@&!...VERY good sandwich . I'm relieved that I'm still able to have variety and I'm not bored yet. I also had one serving of ffree Pringles 70c 1320 so far. I will be partaking of my Fruity glass 'o heaven later .... which will put me at 1700 for the day.

Was able to sleep in until 8:15.. yay for me. I usually wake up around 6 and can't go back to sleep.
9:26 eating my oatmeal 160. I'm going to go to the Y for awhile.
2:09 Had a "near miss" at Wal-mart. went in to pick up some stuff and almost fell for a Quarter pounder with cheese. I was really fighting the urge.
I came home and for lunch I had a turkey burger 160c patty 70c bread, provolone and a piece of ffamerican 100c and a grilled cheese sandwich bread 70 cheese 100c and a cup of Lite Soy Vanilla 'milk' 80c 740 for the day so far.
4:05 went to see The New World or as I like to call it.. Live action Pocahontas. I am using the term live very lightly here though. I had high expectations of this film zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
huh snort... uh Oh yeah. ANYwhoo... had unbuttered popcorn... probably ate about 2 or 3 cups worth and shared a coke... guess I had about 10 12- ounces of that. I'm just going to say I am 1,000 for the day so far. I am going to fix some founder for supper. stopped at the store on the way home and bought a lemon and some fresh basil.. now I'll look up a recipe on line that includes those two ingredients... =P
supper was 600 c's worth of baked flounder cooked with lemon/fresh basil and fresh chives and butter spray. yummy

Dragon Rolls (eel, avocado, cucumber) [Southern Tsunami]
9 rolls um.. didn't have NINE rolls but I'm assuming this is for ONE roll cut into nine pieces.. mine was actually 7 pieces. 643c
I had three pieces of California roll 97c
About 1 cup of fried rice 150c
about 1/4 cup of beef cooked in teriyaki 150c
and I ate all the veggies (broccoli onions and zucchini) except for the carrots. 50c This is unusual for me.. Usually at Japanese I avoid the veggies at all cost. I also normally order about 5 different sushi rolls and eat them all myself... =P
Went to see Underworld 2 around 4:30 had half a bag of small popcorn with butter and drank water 80c? I looked it up on my caloriesperhour site and Movie Butter popcorn microwave was 40c per cup. This 80c may be off..
Went to Panera bread for supper and had a Frontega chicken sandwich that had chicken breast, mozzarella, tomatoes, onions and the bread (I did not eat all of it) had rosemary and onions cooked in it. 750c I also had a whole wheat baguette 60c I had about three bites of that. For dessert I had a 6 oz cup of ice-cream and strawberries from Maggies Moos. 690c had to use cold stone creamery.. they didn't have maggie moos. Probably pretty close to the same though.
Total calories for my cheat day are..... 2,830 NOT to shabby for a cheat day. =)
A successful Cheat day for me. I didn't go totally insane but still had things I wanted. My next cheat day is February 11th. That one will probably be a little worse 'cause it will involve steak, baked potatoes and my BIRTHDAY CAKE!!!! YUM!

1:00 12 minutes of walking.. guessing I'm walking about 3 miles per hour.. NO CLUE>> BURNED 94c's
5:30 p.m. Once hour of Power water Aerobics - water aerobics is only listed once so I'll just say 572c's BURNED
hmmmm.. I'ms staring to see why my big ole carcus might think it's starving.
Does any one out there know the difference between Lightly Active/Moderately Active and Highly active? Is there something to read on this somewhere.. I'm assuming it would have to do with calories burned per day maybe???

So.. Would you consider me lightly active or moderately active. I do water aerobics one hour per day 6 days per week... moving the entire time. ... they are really big on this.

I may need to clarify by what I mean by light/moderate etc. Not the activity itself.. but Me.. my lifestyle. Is a 300+ lbs person that does one hour of constant exercise 6 days a week considred to have a
Sedentary lifestyle
Lighty active lifestyle
Moderately active lifestyle
Very active lifestyle.
I would think I would fall somewhere in between lightly and moderate. It makes a difference in how many calories per day that I can consume.
