Well it's my second day. I do good in the day, out, at work. But when I get home it becomes so bad. It seems like I get so hungry. Then I have to cook dinner for my husband. How do I get pass the night hunger and temptation of wanting to eat everything I see. I also started exercising last night. Is it better to exercise before I go to bed or should I try to get up earlier and exercise in the morning. I am a school bus driver and I am gone all day having to be at work at 5:30a, plus I stay in an apartment.

If you're going to post a "diary" it's best to post as a Reply to the original diary you started. Or continue with this one.

Anyway, the question about exercise is really easy... when you will enjoy it most. Any other factors will be insignificant compared to the importance of enyoying it.

The hunger problem is solved by eating well. You shouldn't be hungry!

If you are eating highly nutritious, low calories foods, you should be able to eat so much as to not be hungry, and it's best to eat five or six times a day.

There's a lot written on this in the forum; the FAQ; and past newsletters, all available via the links, below.

Hang in there. Think how many years it took to learn your habits... and don't expect to change them overnight.

OK Peter. Thanks. You talk about eating foods that are low in calories and highly nutritional. When you are not use to eating like that, even being like a child and not even liking some of those foods. I have to start eating those foods even starting to like those foods. So I want to know, I got can goods and some fruit, where can I start until I can go shopping.

Like a child!?! I'm 59 and hate a lot of good foods. So I just eat what I like.

When you get weened from sweets, you don't miss them so much. I love mushrooms and beans and all kinds of healthy stuff. Now.

I think if you read the FAQ under the Food heading you will know what's good and what isn't. For example, you say you have canned goods. Canned beans, great! Canned pork and beans, not so great.

Fruit is always great!
