Ok, well the weekend went well and I am proud of myself for not over eating at all. I did eat allot of chili last night...but it was made with soy meat. So, not as fatting as regular chili.
I took my turkey bacon and ate light all weekend. Had only one turkey diet breakfast sandwich in the morning then we ate out at night. I didn't even over do it then. I had salad instead of fries. So, it all went good. I didn't get a weigh in this morning. I will try tomorrow. I was in shock of getting up early today, lol. Hate mondays!
I have not ate yet. I think I will have a blt with my turkey bacon when I get done exercising. I am going to do yoga again. I think I am going to make a new routine and see if that helps with the back problem. I did the treadmill last night and I got in a good work out. I need to do that more or pick up the pace on the bike. The bike just seems to easy to me anymore. I hardly am sweating when I am done with it.
Ok, so blt, diet chili and exercise, exercise and more exercise. See how it goes and hope for a good reading on the scale in the morning.
Will check back in later....:)

Doing good so far today. I did my bike for an hour, then yoga for 35mins. and I did change it so hopefully it won't get me in the back. I had a diet blt for breakfast, then had a cup of diet chili for lunch. So, doing pretty good. I am having a hard time staying focused today. I just feel fat and bloated. Not really sure why I feel that way. Maybe just stress is getting the best of me.
There are some good shows on tonight so maybe that will put me in a better mood. I am going to try and get in some treadmill tonight. Just cause I think it works for me better than my bike. Might have to figure out a way to bring it upstairs so I can do that during the day. I don't know...I have done that in the past and it didn't work out to well.
I am starting to get hungry again and debating on what to have and weather to wait until after the treadmill or not. Anyway, going to go facebook awhile and then get off this thing for awhile. :)

Well, the scale was alright this morning. Still the same. So, I guess it's good I haven't put any back on. But, really want to keep this moving.
One big change I am going to make. Back to the treadmill. I get such a better workout with it than I do on the bike. My bike has barring going out in it anyway. So, it won't last much longer anyway. I did four miles on the treadmill and I was dripping. I hardly even break a sweat on the bike. So, I am making the change. I need to get in a better workout. I will need to work around night things. Like when I have class.
Not sure how I will work it out. But, needs to happen. I use to always just do it when my shows were on at night. I really hate waiting that long to do my workout and then it's strait to bed afterwards.
Anyway, food today will be light. I think the diet chili will go in the freezer for the next packer game. Can only eat so much of that with out putting on some pounds.
Well, I will check in later...need to find out where my kid is today...ugh..

Ok....Well so far doing good. Took the little guy to school and me and the other little ones walked two miles. Got in a good workout doing that. It was kind of breezy and pushing the stroller with the little ones really got me sweating. I am just now starting to cool off. I did have one piece of turkey bacon this morning. That stuff is so good to just snack on if you don't over do it. My son was even chowing on it, lol. Of course he didn't know it was turkey.
I think walking at a good pace is definitely the ticket. So, I need to figure out what to do with this bike. I don't think I am going to replace it. It just doesn't do much for me. I got it thinking I could do it with the kids here and it does work for that. But, I am not getting a good workout on it. I think the reasoning behind all of it is the treadmill is set at a certain speed and I have to keep up with that. The bike is all me and lets face it I will not go fast if I don't have to. And the bike I read and do homework and stuff which distracts me from working harder.
Ok! I still can't decide on food today. I might have another pizza thing. I make them on a tortilla with all veggies, pizza sauce, cheese. They are pretty filling and good. Either that or a turkey burger.
I am keeping my calories below 1300 a day. We'll see how that works for me this week. I really want to get another pound of and keep this going in a good dirrection.
Exercise today will be more walking tonight and I am going to try and get in a richard simmons tape. I haven't done that in a while and it will be a good way for me to see how out of shape I really am. Cause I use to pull those tapes off pretty easy. So, we will see....
Ok....got to get busy. Exercise, paperwork, clean up, then lunch....ugh...not enough hours in the day.

I am so proud of myself. I did do one of those Richard tapes. And yep...I am out of shape. I kept up fine....just sweating like no other. But, I did that for an hour and it was fun. So, guess what my new thing is for when the kids are here. I guess I can tell hubby to get rid of the bike that is loosing it's barrings.
I did that then had lunch. Made another diet pizza thing. whole wheat tortilla, pizza sauce, cheese, mushrooms, and some salad shrimp. I also had some broccoli and cheese cause it was like 90 calories for a whole cup. Then for snack I had a sherbet push up that was like 90 calories. So, I am full for now. :) I like that feeling so much better then being stuffed or starving.
I will probably exercise more. I don't need to but glee is on and I love walking when there are shows on with music. Might as well take advantage of it. Then if I do need to miss sometime I won't feel so bad. Besides all this exercise has to pay off sooner or later. :)
Ok...that's it for me.... let's keep fingers crossed for another pound off soon...:)

Well, I totally blew it yesterday. So, that will be my cheat day for this week. I am now right back at it. I did walk yesterday which will help and I have been working out allot. So, hoping it didn't do any damage. I will get another weigh in tomorrow morning and go from there.
I already did my exercise tape today and after the last couple of times, it's not killing me. LOL, so guess I am not as out of shape as I thought. I had some left over chicken this morning and then a tuna sandwich for lunch. I probably won't eat much more today. I have class tonight and I need to get some bills paid. So, hope that will keep me busy and out of the refrigerator.
Ok...well that is it for now...

Still doing good today. I don't know if I will get in another work out or not. I am going to try and get one in after class tonight. I don't have to get up that early tomorrow so I can stay up a little later. That will help.
I been snacking on peanuts this afternoon. Trying not to eat to many of them. High in calories... I want to do the richard simmons tape again tonight or if I push I could get it done before class. ugh. I did get in a nice walk to the school and back. Not sure how far that is. But, I know it's no mile. Something like 8-12 blocks.
Anyway, I need to get a weigh in tomorrow.
Ok... that's all I know for now.... :)

Ok, I am back and I need to get my butt in gear. I have been taking classes as all of you know. Well, now on top of my early childhood classes, I am also taking a CNA course. Wow, let me tell you, I was not ready for all that info being rammed into my brain in such a short time. I was also force to come out of my comfort zone some. It's been fun and I am learning tones of stuff. Hoping by the new year to be starting a new career in that. Then I might go back to school for more stuff. I really love computer stuff. I can fix about anything. So, I might support myself with the cna job and take night classes. I don't know. I will just be happy to finally be done with highchairs and potty chairs. We can actually fix up the house some and not worry about kids wrecking it....
Anyway, needless to say since I started this new class I have not even been paying attention to my diet. Wow, the scale sure said that this morning. So, this last weekend. I went and got all my diet foods. So, I am trying today to start being good. Let me tell ya....NOT EASY! Right now I am hungry. So, I think I will have some broccoli and then I have class so I won't have to worry about the rest of the night. Class is three hours. So, I will be ready for bed when I get home.
Ok...so the plan is the same. EAT better and try to exercise everyday. I was really slacking cause my bike was making bad noises. But, the hubby spent a couple days on it and replaced the bearings and now it's like new again. So, I was back at it today....:)
Well, got to go eat my broccoli and get ready for class.... can't wait till it's all done with...

Hey Cindy, so glad you are back here checking in again. Wow it sounds like you've had a lot of changes going on. Are your CNA classes about a couple months long? We have a program for CNA here that's about 6 weeks I think. I thought about doing that at one time, but then decided it wasn't for me.
Good luck with everything...Diet and school. You can do it! Your brain can get use to acquiring more information. LOL.

| Hi Sassy....yes the class only last until December some time. I am actually on my last classes and then it's clinical from here on out...Where we work with the clients. I wasn't sure at first either but so far it's been ok. It's not really that much different then working with kids and the pay is better. I don't have clinical again until after thanksgiving. I think it will work out and it might get me into doing something else that I love...who knows... lol

Ok...so far I am doing good on the diet. I didn't cave in last night and eat chips and salsa with the hubby when the packers played. So, now I need to stay on track today. I think I will be alright. I have a ton of reading to do so what am I doing...yep, sitting here messing around on the computer.
Oh well, Last week of labs and it's all pretty easy stuff. TPR and putting on stockings...I think I can handle it, lol.
Ok, the plan is to have some sort of fish taco for lunch and then try not to eat much else the rest of the day.
I am going to do my bike now and get busy reading....check back tomorrow and hopefully that scale will be nicer to me in the morning.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes.
Decided today after weighing in that I need to get busy. I am at a all time high right now. So, my classes are done for a few weeks, so time to focus on dieting. I started back with the exercise hot and heavy yesterday and am keeping it up today.
Today I have been focusing on not eating so much all the time. Wow, it's amazing how hungry you get, lol. I will survive... working on my sons wrestling videos and just keeping busy outside of the kitchen.
I do however have a big weekend coming up. I always have my ham and beans on new years day. I will have ham, potatoes and the beans with dumplings. So, I will let myself pig on that day. Hoping to have my stomach shrunk a little by then. :) \
I have started to track my calories and exercise on my phone again. So, then I can see what I am putting into my mouth. I think that is so important. Otherwise it's so easy to say, I didn't eat that much, when really you did. lol
Ok, so that is it for now. Thinking I should go do something until this video is done....
will check back with progress later.... :)

Ok, well today is looking brighter. I am getting back to where I have been stuck for awhile which is good. I hate just going up and up all the time. So, glad to see 3 pounds missing this morning. I am sure allot of it is water weight from the holiday eating.
Today the plan is to stick with healthy foods. So, I thawed out some turkey burgers for supper. For lunch I want to keep it light like a salad or something like that. I do need to hit the store today to pick up some more diet foods. Mostly need some fresh veggies. I can't live without tomatoes when I am dieting.
The weather here today is #%@&!...so I won't be walking the dogs. Which is good cause my calves are killing me from the pup pulling me the whole way. So, I plan on hitting the treadmill today. Maybe watch a movie or something while doing it. If I feel real ambitous I will do some of the elliptical and maybe lift some weights on it. :) I feeling really positive about the new year coming and shedding a few pounds. There are days when I just want to cry knowing how much I have put back on. But, I have always had to diet, so why should this be any different. Just need to get back into action and get busy.
Yesterdays eating went well. I had a ham sandwich with lettuce on it and diet mayo, then I had some pretzels and for supper I had a diet pizza thing that I make. It's meatless so the worse part of it is the cheese. I did have a week moment in the morning when I had a few chips and taco dip and yes it is load with hamburger and sour cream. Hoping to send the rest of that home with the daughter today. I don't need it. lol I really didn't want to eat last night. But, I got to where I couldn't take it. I thought better eat something healthy before I blow it and pig out. I was even having thoughts of going out to eat. "eye roll" how bad would of that been, not being able to make it through the first day of dieting. gesshhh
Ok, so I know Sunday will be a set back. So, going to try really hard to get through the next two days of being good. Hope to be below my normal weight soon. I can't wait to put on my fat pants and have them just be comfortable.
Ok....will check back in later on with how things are going.

Well, it's going good so far. I haven't had allot of hunger pains, but the headaches are sure kicking in. I forgot that I get those when dieting heavily.
Yesterday was good. I stayed on track for the most part. I did break down and have a few chips and even some shrimp at the neighbors. They have a annual bb gun shot and we usually go to it. So, I was proud that I stuck to a good snack instead of pigging on something else. Cause they had cheese dip, little weiners, the works.
I only ended up doing the treadmill yesterday and that kicked my #%@&! pretty good. I am on my bike now. Then I might do some of the other machines after I get done posting.
Plan for food tonight is whole wheat speghetti with shrimp and diet sauce. Yum! can't wait. So far today I have only had a few crackers and some humus. I did go to the store and stocked up on diet food. I forgot how expensive dieting can be. But, at least I don't have to pay for a program. So, now that I have the supplies there is no excusses.
Ok, I will check in later I have to get on the treadmill now.

Ok, so I don't have any new years resolutions. Just to be healthy and happy.
That being said on to the diet. I was kind of bummed the other day cause I was up a pound. Really don't know how that can be since I have hardly ate anything. But, now that I am working again and back into normal routine, I am hoping to change it up some and get busy burning calories.
I have been doing better on exercise. I make myself walk everyday just cause I don't think I burn as much on the bike. I even did a little bit of jogging on the treadmill yesterday. So, I pleased with that. I am trying to do different stuff and not get stuck in a rut. Which is what I do.
Food is all good. I have every diet food I can think of in the house. So should be no problems there with eating healthy.
Today will be left over wheat pasta and diet sauce. I have shrimp in it also but I might toss those. Just don't really like cooked shrimp. I can eat raw like no tomorrow...but not a fan of it being cooked.
Anyway, on my bike now so I am going to read for awhile till I get done...check in later on,,,

I feel that way too sometimes. You know the scale should have went down because you were very careful with what you ate, but instead of going down it went up.
It could be water retention or fluctuations with your digestive system. Sometimes I will take a magnesium supplement for stiff muscles and it helps a lot, but the side effect is usually that it makes me retain a little water and the scale goes up. It can be discouraging.
We ended up buying a new scale (again). Our other scales weren't accurate anymore. We just went to Wal-Mart and bought one, but the new scales they have now are pretty cool and have lots of new functions. There was one there that would have little red and green lights go off if you gain or lose weight. LOL. I told my husband "We are not getting that one!" That would just upset me to have the scale "scolding me" all the time with it's little red light. He heh.
Well best of luck to you Cindy. Good to see you back here.

Wow, I haven't been on here in awhile. Allot has changed in my life. So, of course the diet and now the exercise have taken to the back burner. I am trying to get back into the exercise. It's hard to do after you stop for awhile.
Anyway, I closed the daycare. I am now doing cna work. Right now it's just in the mornings helping people eat and giving out snacks. I got hired at another place but haven't stated yet. I have to wait for a drug test and background check. I am hoping to get in a few pm shifts there to average out my time. I need full time and only doing part time. So, hoping that all works out and I start getting some hours in.
Meanwhile it's been fun getting my house back to just us and getting the daycare stuff out of the house. I can't even tell you how nice that is. I have had a toy box in my livingroom for years. It's nice to have it gone. My house seems much bigger now...lol
I am thinking now that I need to start eating better and getting back into shape. I am doing half right now. I have a good breakfast, bad lunch and then a decent supper. My exercise is hit and miss and shouldn't be. I am just being lazy. :(
So, goals for the rest of the week are to exercise and start eating more veggies and fruit.
I will check in again tomorrow...with a progress report.

| Hey Cport, good to see you back. Sounds like you have had some big changes. I know the day care thing was getting very frustrating for you so I'm glad you found another career path. Part time is better than nothing and it's a great way to get on the list to be hired full time, I am sure it will happen. Good luck.

Yeah it sounds like things are going well for you Cindy. I hope you get more hours in, but it's good you have a job. So many are without jobs and there just really aren't enough jobs to go around.
I'm happy for you with your career change. How are you liking it?

Hi everyone! I like the change in jobs. I really get allot out of it. I was getting so burned out with doing daycare. I like spending time with the kids. It's just all the other #%@&! that goes along with running your own business.
Anyway, I have been terrible about exercising lately. Which is just not like me. So, trying to get back into it. Even if it's just a few miles. I do need to start eating better also. I have an appointment coming up soon and my doctor is not going to be happy with my numbers. Plus it would be nice to shed a few pounds so my scrubs fit better. All my cloths are to small or tight. Sucks! I would really just like to lose 10lbs for now.
Ok, so today is going to be a meatless day. I have a whole bowl of soup that I made. So that will be the meal for the day. I think I will thaw out some shrimp for tomorrow. I have no big plans for valentines day. We have wrestling that night so we won't do anything.
Well, that's the plan. I am off to walk now.

Ok, well I am doing better on both exercise and diet. I haven't weighed myself in a while. I always stay about the same. I need to get in a weigh in...maybe tomorrow since I work early. It would be a good time to do it.
I have been forcing myself to do the exercise and I got to say..my feet are sore. I have done four miles the last two days and not sure I can do it again today. If my feet are still sore when I get home then I will do my bike.
I made cupcakes for valentines day. So, trying to not pig on those. I did thaw out some shrimp for later. But, I think I may do hot ham sandwich for lunch.
Anyway...that's the plan...ham for lunch, exercise and shrimp after I get back from work... Hopefully the scale will be kind to me in the morning.
