Alright, never wrote a diary, but maybe this will help me in my battle against myself(i'm compulsive, remember:tongue:)

Alright, it is 7:31pm. I live in Brooklyn, NY.

I just finished dinner, and I am impressed that I didn't gorge myself. My brother brought donuts(which i'm not a big fan of, but will eat), and I didn't eat one. Small victory. Anyway, i'm pretty content at the moment, so I will post later when things get antsy.

Alright, i'm starting to get that "empty" feeling. Both physically, and mentally. My stomach doesn't have that content full feeling. I'm trying to concentrate on cleaning my room, and putting some stuff on eBay, but a part of me is saying "a little bit won't hurt". But it always does, because once I start, I do not stop. My railing cryis "wait till breakfest".

Sleep is going to be hard. I always sleep with a full stomach. Gotta try though. Its 9:01pm, and donuts are calling...

How about having a piece of fruit and some water, and call it a night? Sometimes, as silly as it may be, I just go to bed early so I don't have to think about food.

Well, I didn't say this, but I go to bed around... idk, between 12am and 3am. Though it used to be even later. Anyway, I got over the hump, and I am pretty stable now. Good advice though, i'll probably have an apple in an hour of so.

Don't cheer yet, freak occurance, my sister just got home from work and brought Mozzerella Sticks. I had one, but I try and console myself that I have done far worse. Along with Mozezerelle sticks... well, lets just say that she might as well have brought two tons of coke to a drug den, lol.

Some people say you shouldn' eat before bed. But! I eat bran flakes and muesli an hour or so before bed. You could try porridge (quaker oats) NOT DOUGHNUTS!!

I hate waking in the night hungry and I know exactly what your saying about sleeping well with a full stomach.

I try hard not to get hungry but am still losing!

All the best and stick with it

Alright, I have done good today. Had a couple sammies at Quiznos and some vegetable pasta(very good and healthy). Only bad thing was a bag of dorritos for breakfest, but i'm doing better. Had a full day of classes, and wasn't hungry... maybe that is why I eat so much, when I am bored, I have a compulsion to eat.

Hi A-1 (love the username!),  Are those sammies at Quiznos good?  We got a flyer in the mail about them...the pics looked good (of course!) and I noticed it said they were only 200 calories.  My guess is that they must be really tiny.

Today I did very good. Only bad thing was a regular soda. I had a sub from subway (Chicken Breast with lots of veggies), 2 sammies, and i'll probably snack on a little bit of pasta and call it a night.

Still going strong, have been eating healthy for a few days in a row. I haven't said this, but... here is the history of my weight. I was once 290, a few years back. I lost a ton of that weight, moving to 215. My father died in 2006, and I said '#%@&! It', and tried to eat myself to death. I am back at 290, however, I already know how to lose the weight, so knowledge isn't the problem.

Hi A-1 Sauce

I find that if I drink a whey shake/drink at night it takes those hunger pangs away and I don't go to sleep feeling deprived.  Good luck on the weight loss and remember we are all here for you.

I had a chicken gyro today, without the sauce, is that horribly bad?

Hmmm that's a good question.  Have you tried to find nutritional information from a similar restaurant online?  I think in theory the meat is just dry roasted... or do they baste it with fat as it cooks?  Not sure, but you are making me hungry!

Congrats on the 2 pounds! That is wonderful progress. It depends on the pizza. Are we talking deep dish and meaty or thin crust and veggie? I'm impressed with the one piece. I can never stop at one!
