Wow, I love the new look of the site. The forums look great too now that they've converted over. Yay!
I want to post some progress photos, but I'm not sure how. I have the photos on LJ but when I used the script to insert images I'm just getting x's. I'm lost.

| Thanks, Nir. Unfortunately it'll have to wait til I get back home tonight. The photos are on the hd at home. I did post them to LJ and people that have known me for years can't even believe the difference, so that's kinda nice. ;)

The parade was a lot of fun last night - if you consider standing in platform boots for 2 hours in 50 degree weather while surrounded by a bunch of pushy people, fun. The costumes were amazing and I love the giant puppets that are part of it. Some of these folks are so creative.
Well, as expected I didn't lose any weight this week. I'm not too bummed about it though because it's obvious that I haven't cared much about what I've been eating - buffets, carrot cake, pumpkin pie, candy, cookies. Eesh. I'm happy I didn't have a gain given all of that. And I've promised myself that starting Monday, I'll be back to my routine.
Thursday, 11/1/07 (1446/1424)
Breakfast: 1 Quaker Express Oatmeal-baked apple (200/4.0); 1 cup strawberries (49/3.0)
Lunch: ~4.5 oz ground lamb (325); 1 cup long grain brown rice (216/3.5); 1 cup shredded lettuce, tomato and tzaziki sauce (36/1.2)
Dinner: 2 slices WW whole wheat bread (90/5); 1 Boca cheeseburger patty (100/4); 1 cup vegetarian baked beans (280/16)
Dessert: 1 Skinny Cow vanilla/caramel ice cream cone (150/3)
Water: 51 oz.
Fiber: 43.7g

ohh - I have been reading your diary for inspiration and well done for your weight loss so far. I have always wanted to go to the haloween parade but for the past two years I have had to study for one exam or another. Hopefully next year I should make it.
Don't worry too much about losing the weight each and every week. I started weighing myself morning and night because I was losing 2lbs one week and nothing the next. It isn't always a straight line. I started my diary because I lost nothing for a week then I lost 3 lbs two weeks ago and since then I have lost 0.4lbs (thank the Lord for digital scales!). I am sure this is because I have been on a water mission. I started drinking 8 glasses a day and now I am actually thirsty. So far this morning I have had 5 glasses of water and my mouth and tummy still feel dry. I think I must have been very dehydrated (I have only gone to the loo twice this morning)!
I also loved reading about your experience in Kohls and Burlington. I struggle to find decent trousers too. Its cheaper for these companies to put vertical poctets on womens trousers but they even make skinny people look bigger. I struggle to find trousers. Gap has some decent everyday plain black ones under their curvy range. Also, White House, Black Market has some great dress trousers. The cut is very good and although it says dry clean only I stick them in the machine on a cold wash! They are pricey at $90 odd a pair but I wear them all the time.

Thanks fatgirlslim. I know what you mean about not obsessing about the weight loss every single week. This tends to happen to me. I have a great loss one week then nothing for one or two, then another decent loss. So, next week should be better. I'm definitely going swimming on Friday night and I'm going to see if I can talk the bf into heading upstate for a few hours to do some hiking one day over the weekend. We're both taking Monday off so we've got a long weekend together.
I've heard that Hoboken is really great, but I've never been over there. What are you studying? How far along with your degree are you? I've got this semester + one year and then I'll be done with my BA. I've got agita trying to figure out what I'll do after that, so trying to relax and play it by ear.

| hey apathy. i totally know where you are coming from with having a loss one week and then maybe having to wait 2 weeks for the next loss to show. i am totally the same. it used to be annoying but now i have grown to accept it i guess. we'll see what weigh day holds for me tomorrow!

Hoboken is a great place to live. When I moved over I looked at Manhattan but the price wasn't worth it. I have to have a car for work and I like having a savings account! If you have a spare afternoon its worth taking the PATH to see what its about. The city is only a mile square so getting in a steady long walk is tough. The view of Manhattan from the waterfront is amazing.
I am currently studying for the CFA Level one. Its a finance exam that I am finding rather tough. They only have two sittings for the first level. So if I fail again I have to wait until the first weekend of June to retake. Annoying but hey - thats life! The CFA is annoying because its three exams (Level 2 and 3 can only be sat in June) and you need four years of relevant experience in order to earn the charter. If I can stay on schedule I should be done in June 2009. You don't have long to go with your degree. The time will fly by and you will be amazed at what opportunities open up for you once you graduate.
Its great that you go swimming. I get up at 5.30am to leave the house at 6am and return at 10pm. I have been studying a Panera as my fiance can't help but be loud in our apartment. The Y in Hoboken has a pool but it just doesn't look appealing and its a good 40min walk away. After your post yesterday I got to thinking that I should join the gym on a month to month basis once I do the exam in 30 days. When I got home last night the local gym had pushed flyers through the door offering month to month memberships! As long as I can cancel at the end of January, when I will need to get back to the studies, it will be a good opportunity for me to try to structure gym time into my schedule.

Fatgirlslim - I'm lucky because there is a company-provided gym where I work. Sometimes I go there at lunch time, which is so convenient. I also have a membership to a NYC Rec Centre, which is something like $75 for the year. I only use the pool but they have a running track, weights, classes and machines too. I've actually been thinking about signing up for a karate or other martial arts class too. I think the key for me is that if I pay for it, I'll use it. I definitely find myself slacking off at the gym, but not at the pool. That's money out of my pocket. ;)
Good luck on the CFA...I don't know from personal experience, but I've worked in the finance industry for 10+ years so I know how difficult a test that is.
Voodoodoll - Good luck on your weigh in!!!!

I feel great today, even if I ended up not getting my hair cut last night because my friend and stylist ended up in the emergency room. I still don't know if he's okay though. :(
My pants are too long, but they fit - I discovered an old pair of 18s from Old Navy that I could never get into. They're a little loose in the waist so they fit comfortably. They at least make me look a little taller.
Friday, 11/02/07 (1811/1424-1924) effectively 1491 cal for the day
Breakfast: 1 instant oatmeal packet (170/3); 1 medium banana (105/3.1); 1 cup strawberries (49/3.0)
Snack: 1 Breyers Smart Yogurt - pineapple (170/1)
Lunch: ~4.5 oz ground lamb (212); 1 cup long grain brown rice (216/3.5); 1 cup shredded lettuce, tomato and tzaziki sauce (36/1.2)
Snack: 1 sliver (1" thick) dominican cake (~200)
Dinner: 1.5 cups white rice (363/1); 1 cup black beans (140/12)
Dessert: 1 Skinny Cow vanilla/caramel ice cream cone (150/3)
Water: 34 oz.
Fiber: 29.8g
Exercise: Swimming - 30 min - 36 laps/0.5 mile (320)
I am totally lovin' the new food cart lady outside of my office building. I can get a relatively healthy and hearty lunch for $5. That's unheard of in the city.
My friend backed out of swimming tonight, but I have everything with me, so I'm going anyway. It doesn't look like we're going hiking this weekend. I forgot that the marathon is on Sunday and now our Saturday is being eaten up by plans with others. So much for just relaxing and spending three days together.
I really want to see American Gangster. A friend of mine shot a scene, and we're not sure if it was left in or not. I'd want to see it anyway as I'm sure it'll make the Oscar shortlist, but still... I don't remember whose journal I saw these lines in, but I'm stealing the idea, because it's easier for me to compartmentalize things...
Swimming was fantastic tonight! I buckled down and did exactly a half mile in 30 minutes. It was a good thing too, because as soon as I finished my last lap, my toes started cramping. I've managed to keep the calf cramps to a minimum by not pushing off the wall as hard as I used to. But these toe cramps are killer, especially when after showering, I shove my feet into pointy-toed boots with 3-inch heels. Yowsah.
Preparations for my birthday bash are going well. We're up to 58 definite "yesses". It's insane. Next weekend we're finalizing the headcount, arranging the seating and ordering the flowers. I can't believe it'll be here in less than a month. Eeek! Then, around Thanksgiving we have to finalize the menu and write out the placecards.
I still haven't decided what to wear. Part of the problem is that I still see myself as a fatter girl. I keep convincing myself that I cannot wear things because I'm "too big" when in truth, there are plenty of things I could pull off that would look really nice. I don't really want to wear a dress because then I HAVE to wear heels and I'd rather not. I intend to be on the dance floor for at least 3 of the 4 hours. It's a buffet, but I've tried to be smart about what the choices are - fighting my family tooth and nail as they'd be happy if everything was fried and smothered in cheese.
So I've got a plan going into this. If only I knew what I was going to wear...

I went back to Kohl's to try finding that jacket and of course they only had it in burgundy which doesn't match anything I own, so I didn't get it. I had lunch with my uncle, mom and grandmother. It's friggin' freezing out, so I don't think I'm leaving the house again for the rest of the day.

Hey! ...your birthday bash sounds likes it's going to be really fun...thinking...hmm, 58 guests = 58 gifts .....did I miss when you talked about where you're having it (locale I mean)? are you having a dj? open bar? can I come? LOL
I love your list from the 31st...it looks like something you put some thought into...how goes that for you? I had a similar "list" for myself and found that while it was fairly easy to fall into the mindset of #1, #9 was (and 2 yrs later still continues to be) something of a struggle.....the little man in my head keeps insisting that a giant Snickers bar is moderation.

I haven't talked about it much, but I'm sure you'll see more of it in the coming weeks. Heheh...we'll see about the gifts. ;) It'll be here in Brooklyn at a local catering hall and yes it will have a dj and an open bar. Oh, I'm really gonna have to watch out. Malibu and cranberry is my favorite drink.
It's still too soon to tell about the ist, but so far I'm finding it helpful. I printed it out and carry it around with me. Yes, moderation is hard to judge because it changes based on my mood. ;)

Well, the marathon kicked off. I'm always amazed at how fast these people can run. I was ready to die after 3.1 miles...I don't know if I could ever complete a marathon, especially the NYC Marathon. eeesh. It passes right by my house, which is really cool to see.
I still have some homework to do but I feel totally unmotivated today.

On Friday, my bf's boss's wife (who has her own pottery studio) gave us a beautiful cookie jar. She's always giving us gifts and things she hasn't sold in her store, and I love her work - it's colorful, modern and whimsical. I just checked the website and this gift was worth $100 if we were to purchase it directly. It's really very sweet of her. Anyway, their family is vegan and I told my bf that with all of the gifts she gives us, that we should bake something to give to them as a "thank you."
So I found this recupe for applesauce muffins. I don't know how healthy they'll be or how they'll taste, but I'm gonna give it a go tonight or tomorrow. If it's any good and if I can calculate the calories, etc. I'll post it here. In any case, I'll let you all know how they turn out.
I'm not going to post the recipe for a number of reasons: (a) they're much higher calories and fat than the pumpkin muffins and (b) they don't taste as good. My bf thinks they're "pretty good" which means that people who eat vegan food all the time will probably like them, but man, I sure don't. I'd take those pumpkin muffins any day. To make them a little healthier, I used soy flour instead of unbleached flour which is what it called for. Maybe that gave them a little funky taste too.
Looks like dinner will be ground turkey tacos. Mmmmm....I'm not even hungry, but even just thinking about them is making me want them now.Last edited on 5 November 2007 02:03 pm by abnormalapathy

The boy and I are home today, just bumming around. I'm scheduled for a haircut at noon, need to drop some things off at the tailors to be taken in (yay!) and then we're going to see American Gangster. Can't wait to see Racheline's scene. Should be fun. I remember when she was writing about her day on the set and I was like "What kind of movie is she filming? One of the Saw series?"

It's weigh-in day and I've had some success. This week I've lost 1.5 pounds, bringing my weight to 200.5. That's a loss of 39.7 pounds in 32 weeks. My first goal is to be under 200 pounds before my 30th birthday, and unless I go completely nuts on Tryptophan Day (i.e. Thanksgiving), I should make it. I've still got three more weigh-ins.
It's funny, people have been asking me what they should get for my birthday and pretty much everything is diet or health-related: measuring cups, measuring spoons, a food scale, a Whole Foods gift card, resistance bands. If someone had asked me this last year the list would have been more like: red velvet cake and bottles of Malibu rum. What a change.
You know, this reminds me of a Christmas present my ex and I received from friends one year. We used to drink so much Pepsi (it was seriously ALL we drank - no water, no tea, no coffee, not even Sprite) that another couple bought several cases of Pepsi and made us a giant pyramid from the full cans. We had enough for 2 weeks or so. Scary!
Anyway, I've been sort of 'blah' lately with all of the stresses of life: work, school, party planning, finances...I've been working on an outline and framework for a memoir and I've made some good progress with that too, so I've been around, just a bit more quiet than usual, I guess.
Thursday, 11/8/07 (1577/1400-1900)

Friday, 11/9/07 (1551/1400-1900) effectively 1233 cal

Snack: 1 medium apple (72/3.1)
Lunch: ~4.5 oz chicken breast (212); 1 cup long grain brown rice (216/3.5); 1 cup shredded lettuce, tomato and tzaziki sauce (36/1.2)
Snack: 1 slice butternut squash pie, crustless (~250/3)
Dinner: taco guts - 1/2 cup refried black bean (150/8); 2 TBsp fat free sour cream (30); 2 TBsp salsa (10); 1/2 cup ground turkey (150)

So the trainer and I got "into it" this afternoon because I haven't been to the gym since the 5K three weeks ago. I feel like it wasn't doing much for me - I've averaged slightly more than a 1 pound loss per week the entire time, even when I was going to the gym religiously. He feels that's totally incorrect and that it would have bumped the average up if I'd have stuck with it. We may both be right. In any case, he decided to put together a cardio circuit for me and essentially challenged me to do it 3x a week for the next 3 weeks to see how it affects my losses in that time. I agreed.
I went swimming tonight but I don't know what was wrong with me. I got there about 15 min after my workout buddy and by that point she was already 10-12 laps ahead of me. I hate when that happens because then I feel like she finished first and then sits around waiting for me, which I think is unfair. So, I only did 30 laps (6 short of a half mile) in 30 minutes, but hey, that's another 300+ cal gone.
The bf has plans most of the day tomorrow with his friends so I'm kind of scrounging around for stuff to do. I SHOULD go through my closets and really clean up, catch up on homework, and go to my dentist appointment. I will probably keep my dentist appointment and spend the rest of the day writing - if they're not here to distract me. Or maybe go use that credit at the pottery place and unwind by painting a new piece. I dunno...the weather is supposed to be pretty miserable.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the reactions of people who haven't seen me in a while. I mean, my bf sees me every day...my parents maybe once or twice a month (it's more often with my mom now since we're planning the party), so they don't notice the changes that much. But some of my cousins and some of the friends who will be there haven't seen me in as much as a year, so it should seem like a drastic change to them.
Even better: I have a friend who I haven't seen in over a year who will be there. In the last two years she has dropped her weight from 350 pounds to 195 and she's still losing! I can't WAIT to see how she looks...she's been a real inspiration to me and has been helping to keep me motivated too.

I had a great night's rest and now I'm rearing to go. The bf just left to have brunch with an old friend and then his guy friends are coming over later this afternoon. So, I really need to get the kitchen and the bathroom cleaned up. Then I need to get to the post office to pick up a certified letter (I hate those. They're never good news). And then, the dentist. Somewhere in all of this, I have to finish up my weekly assignments, stop at the pharmacy to get some refills on prescriptions, bring about a dozen things to the tailor to be taken in and if I'm still breathing after all of this - head over to the pottery studio.
And with all of this, I can't believe I don't get paid again until Friday. It's been a year now and I just can't get used to this whole 2 paychecks a month thing. It sucks! I really have to get better at budgeting so I'm not living on ramen noodles the week before each check. Eeesh.

Walking: Walking, 60 minutes, 2.4 miles (263)
Well, I just crashed. It must have been the fried rice because I slept for two hours - waking only because I knew if I stayed in bed I wouldn't be able to sleep at all tonight. When I got up, I tested my sugar and it was 130 - three hours after we'd eaten lunch. So, there's the culprit. I'm sure the Starbucks food only about an hour or so beforehand didn't help any, either.
I picked up the letter, which just annoyed me. Why did the state have to send me a certified letter to tell me what I already knew, what they'd already told me at least twice in the last year - that if I am due a tax return this year, they will take it and apply it to the back taxes I am paying monthly. It's fine! I know it's going to happen! I'm prepared! So why waste the money and more importantly, my time, to send me this #%@&! via certified mail so I have to go out of my way to pick it up?!?!??! Argh. USPS.
I moved the dentist appt to mid-December because the hygienist was about an hour behind schedule. My bf's plans fell through so I didn't want to waste so much time just sitting there when I'd rather spend it with him. I picked up the new prescription, but didn't do anything else on that list. C'est la vie.

Sunday, 11/11/07 (1592/1400-1900)
Snack: 2/3 cup pomegrante kefir (116/2)
Breakfast: 1/2 cup Healthy Alternatives egg product (60); 2 slices Weight Watchers multigrain bread (100/4); 1 TBsp light butter (50)
Lunch: 2 slices WW multigrain bread (100/4); 1 TBsp Skippy's Natural peanut butter (90/1)
Snack: 1/3 cup corn nuts (120/2)
Dinner: 1 serving Healthy Harvest penne (315/6); sauce (45/1); 3 small meatballs (276/1)
Dessert: 1 slice (1/5th pie) pumpkin pie (320/2)
Water: 32 oz.
Fiber: 21.0 g
I am so proud of myself right now! So, the bf and I went to the fruit & veggie store (it's a bit of a trek, but the prices are well worth it). I stocked up on apples, organic salad mix, green beans, red bliss potatoes, some goat cheeese, strawberries and some corn nuts. My bf's contributions to the basket were a pumpkin pie and a box of cookies, which are 190 calories EACH.
So, we get home and I start working on a pot of sauce for dinner tonight and I realize, "hey, I'm hungry" so I have my hand on the box of cookies which are on the table in front of me and then I realize, "oh my god, I can have a peanut butter sandwich for the SAME calories as ONE cookie!" So, that's what I did.
Dinner will probably be a lot of calories - pasta always is. But I've got more than enough calories allotted for the day, so I feel comfortable with it.
Today is measurement day...totally forgot about it until now. So here goes:
Neck - 3.0
Wrist - 2.0
Upper Arm - 4.0
Bust - 7.0
Waist - 7.5
Hips - 5.5
Thigh - 5.25
Calf - 1.0
Ankle - 0.25
That's a total loss of 35.5 inches and 39.7 pounds since mid-March 2007.Last edited on 11 November 2007 10:06 pm by abnormalapathy

Thanks for the nice note in my diary. I read your diary all the way through prior to joining. I could really relate to a lot of things ...the european family, the crazy hours. Of course the New York lifestyle is fascinating to me...we are worlds apart.
Did you get depressed after your knee surgery?

It's funny...I never think of myself as living the "New York lifestyle". My neighborhood looks like it could be just about anywhere, USA with big trees, large houses and my favorite - the smell of fireplaces going, at this time of the year. But if you go two blocks away from the water, I suppose it does look quintessentially NY with lots of concrete and shops.
I was confined to bed for a week after my surgery, with my leg strapped into this machine that circulated really cold water. That was the hardest week for me. I couldn't really do much for myself and I was bored. After that, I was home for another week but could at least get out of bed more often. After that, I returned to work, so even though things didn't go back to "normal" for at least three months, it wasn't as depressing as it could have been.

Okay, here are the series of posts I promised a while back with photos. This first one was from July 2007. I'm with my tipsy younger brother. I was 225 pounds, but had already lost 16 pounds from my top weight.

| My bf took this photo on 12 October when we were coming home from visiting his family. I didn't realize until I saw the photo how big that shirt had become on me. At this point, I was 205 pounds, having lost almost 36 pounds. Attached Image (viewed 145 times):

You must be so proud when you look at the first photo then the last. If you can do that, then you surely know for sure now that you can do more and you get more and more educated in weight loss as time goes by so it will be easier to do the right thing. You are a very pretty girl and as the weight comes off it is revealed more and more. Keep up the brilliant work. You have succeded and you will just continue to succeed until you get to the weight that you will be happy with.

Thanks for your encouragement, hoofprints and Theresa - it's really motivating! Especially as I'm sitting here making excuses about why I can't go to the gym today, when in truth there are not one, but two, opportunities for me to go and it's pure laziness that's got me thinking about ditching it. But I WILL go...I bet once I do I'll even realize I missed it these last three weeks.

Volunteer orientation went fantastically well last night. I begin mentor training in mid-December when we're back from vacation and I can't wait. Afterwards, I grabbed a bite to eat (it was late and I was famished since I worked out before the meeting) and then sat in Starbucks for about 90 minutes catching up on homework. I have a book review due for my Africa course on Sunday and I haven't finished the book yet. So, that gave me quite a bit of a chance to get some solid work done. If I'd have gone home I would have f()d around until I wasted the whole night. Another benefit: got to meet the bf after he got out of work and take a cab home.
Today promises to be insane - I'm running our food drive this week. Eeek!
Tuesday, 11/13/07 (1657/1400-1900) effectively 1355 cal
Breakfast: 1 Quaker instant oatmeal packet - cinammon (170/3); 1 medium apple (72/3)
Snack: 1/3 cup corn nuts (120/2)
Lunch: 1 roll (150/1); 1 bison burger (207); 1 cup mashed potato (198)
Dinner: 1 whole wheat brocolli baked empanada (180/3); 1 spicy tofu chili empanada (240/2)
Dessert: 1 slice (1/5 pie) pumpkin pie (320/2)
Water: 34 oz.
Fiber: 15.0 g
Exercise: 25 minute circuit training (302)
Tonight's workout was like death. The trainer at the company gym came through on his promise for a circuit training routine. It's 8 exercises for ~45 seconds each, the entire routine 3 times through. Since he was showing me a lot of the exercises tonight, we only did it twice and I seriously wanted to DIE. In a way, it was fortunate that a shower wasn't immediately available because I felt the urge to vomit (I didn't) when it was all said and done. I (a) haven't been that beet red EVER from a workout and (b) have never been so sweaty after one either...that's how I know it was good. So, here goes:
- Jump rope (45 seconds)
- Modified push-ups on BOSU (20 reps)
- Squat with dumbbell press (7.5 lb x 20 reps)
- Ab curl with rotation (4 lb medicine ball x 20 reps)
- Lateral shuffle over step (45 seconds)
- Resistance band row (blue x 20 reps)
- Static lunge (20 reps per leg)
- BOSU push-up plank (hold 30 seconds)

I am absolutely exhausted today. Last night's workout slayed me. I am sore from my shoulders to my feet and literally everything hurts. The last few days I've had this weird cough that seems to only affect me after a workout or after a laughing fit. I end up wheezing and then coughing so bad I can't stop. So, that happened last night and I ended up giving in to Nyquil around 12:30 AM which just knocked me out. I was a wreck this morning, but I'm at the office anyway.
I was supposed to attend a wine tasting/investment seminar tonight, but because of the above and the fact that it's another 40 minutes away from my place, I cancelled. Hey, I didn't need the empty calories from the wine anyway. Instead, I'll force myself onto the elliptical for at least 30 minutes.
I have a TON of homework I need to get done and no desire to do any of it. I have a coding project due tomorrow and I haven't read the chapters or the study we're supposed to code. Great. I also have to take two Excel exams this week and write a book review on Aman: The Story of a Somali Girl. It would be better had I finished the book.

Dinner - taco loco: 1 flour tortilla, small (80/1); 1/4 cup rice (58/0.5); 1/4 cup black beans (75/2); 1 hard shell taco (50/1); 1/2 cup chicken breast, grilled (115); 1 TBsp sour cream (30)
Dessert: 1 cookie (190)

First, I'm awed by your weight loss accomplishments to date, and I'm just dandily entertained by your diary -- thanks!
Anyway, just wanted to mention that what you described above sounds just like exercise-induced asthma. Any history of asthma for you or in your family? I've had it since for over 35 years and yes, laughing, can trigger it too (your lungs don't know the difference between a hearty laugh and a mile run). Something to check in to...
Keep up your awesome work!

I was convinced I gained two pounds this week. Oh how the scale lies when you check it when you're not supposed to - i.e. in the middle of the day after you've eaten at least 2 meals and a snack. So...drum roll:
I weigh less than 200 pounds!
Wow, I am so stoked. I got on that scale and had to move it down to the 150 on the bottom rung, then found it teetering right in the middle at about 199.5 pounds. Okay, so rounded up that's still 200...but hey, I saw that scale and it was under it. So yay!!! That's 40.7 pounds in 33 weeks. Now let's see if I can keep it off through the Thanksgiving holiday, my birthday bash, my actual birthday AND vacation. ;)
I've got to do some mega shopping for the food drive today, so no official workout. Lifting giant Costco-sized packages of canned veggies and boxes of stuffing should be sufficient. Then I'm going to see the hairdresser again so he can attempt to fix the cut he gave me last week. I hope it ends up more like how I wanted it in the first place. This is so not the right time for a bad haircut - right before I see folks I haven't seen since high school! Eek!
My best friend will be here in about a week and a half and I can't wait. She's never been to NY before, so I'm taking off a few days to play tour guide. Then we have my birthday bash, and then we all (me, my bf, and best friend) leave for a week in Miami with a one-day side trip to the Bahamas. OMG, I can't wait to get on that beach and relax.....
Thursday, 11/15/07 (1550/1400-1900) effectively 1279 cal

Snack: 3 cookies (225/1.5)
Dinner: 1 Boca burger (100/4); 2 servings vegetarian beans (280/16); 1 boiled red potato (154/3.1)
Dessert: 1 cup strawberries (49/3)
Water: 34 oz.
Fiber: 50.7g
Exercise: Moving pallettes and cases of items - I'm only counting it as a solid hour of movement, though I'm sure it was more than that (271)
