So here I go again. Yeah. It's me. So Basically, I'm going to come clean. Yeah...I screwed up in many many many ways. I wasn't focused, I wanted the quick fix, the fad diets, the lovely drops quick quick quick...I didn't care how I lost just that I did...all that stuff. And yeah, here I am today weighing in at 218. YUP. 2-freaking-18. Holy #%@&!....how did I let myself go. Sigh. It's true what they say you know. I tried doing atkins for 2 weeks....was at 212 when I started, went down to 198 by day 14...then I thought "hey well I'll maintain this by just eating regularly...no junk"...but nope. I cut calories down to 10 grams a day with atkins...no wonder I lost so much weight. So the moment I started eating starch again...I blew back up to where I am now...2-freaking-18.

Well honestly, I had enough. Now I'm actually just wearing my old "fat" clothes that I used to wear at 243. And Now I realize I should have thrown it all out because now I view it as backup clothes. There shouldn't be back up clothes! I'm not comfortable in my size 13 pants anymore....I'm 218 now. Not 210. Not 205. I don't want to be 218. Ick it's so so so ugly to see that. I swear.

I'm going to university in 2 and a half months, and dammit, I want to look fabulous. So I will...this summer, my butt is going to be busy every minute of every day. No more tv 5-8 hours a day...no more computer 5-8 hours a day. Exercise, walks, gardening, working....anything but being lazy!

To be honest...I'm not one of those people who can weigh in only once a week. I weigh myself everyday, and I find that that's how I stay on track. When I tried not to weigh myself for a week or two...I gained weight. So I'm going to weigh myself everyday, and I'm going to record it here. That's my personal choice, and that's the only way I can do it!

I'm going to lose the weight. I really am. 218 is ridiculous....I'm almost back up to 243 and that's so scary for me...I hated that weigh!

Dammit. I'm going to be beautiful, healthy and radiant. And I want to be that, because that's how I feel inside, and I finally want the outside to shine like the inner does...

Baby, third time is the charm....let's get this show on the wayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Starting weight: 218

So I went to bed last night thinking of all the things I would do today. And so far I'm well on my way!!

I already am doing all the laundry, folding the clothes, I will be vacuuming the house once my dad leaves for work, and when my mom gets home me and her will go do some gardening. I was thinking of mowing the lawn...but it's not long enough yet :yum: Haha.

So far today I've had to eat:

1 bowl of cereal ~ 100 calories
1 banana ~ 105 calories
2 1/2 cups of 1% milk ~ 275 calories
1 bagel ~ 300 calories
2 cups of watermelon ~ 92 calories
2 tbs of butter ~ 70 calories
1 bagel ~ 300 calories
2 hamburgers ~ 436 calories
1 oz cheese ~ 100 calories
Yogurt ~ 110 calories

Calories so far ~ 1888
Yay I made calories right in range today!

When I woke up this morning I weighed in at 215. Which doesn't surprise me...my weight fluctuates an awful lot. So as long as it keeps going down over the spand of a week, then I'll be happy about it.

So yesterday I ended up doing so much: vacuuming the whole house, washing all the clothes/folding all the clothes, doing the dishes, swept the driveway of all the old leaves and whatnot, gardened with mom and watered the plantes! Phew!

That was some day :D Today I did a bit of cleaning and laundry, but I have to study for my exams happening thursday and friday!

So not much happening tonight except alot of studying! Then I'm finally done High School, wooot.

This morning I weighed in at 213.4 which really surprised me.

So far today I've had:

Cereal ~ 100 cal
banana ~ 105 cal
1/2 Milk 1% ~ 55 cal
Yogurt ~ 110 cal
2 sliced of whole grain bread ~ 240 cal
2 medium eggs ~ 140 cal
1 tbs of Mayo ~ 40 cal
2 cups of watermelon ~ 96 cal

So far:  886 cals

Hey guys,

Worked tonight so didn't have much time to be on...

This morning I weighed in at 213.4 again. Which I love...it's slowing down so that's good, and it's not going up :D Same weight or lower is beautiful for moi.

And Nir I've been using that weight physics link you gave somewhere in the forum, and I'm appreciating that aswell.

Hey Ella Luka,

I wanted to let you know that I've been enjoying keeping up with you via your Diary.    I love that you know already that you are beautiful, healthy and radiant inside - good for you!    I feel the same way, so I know exactly what you mean.

That weight WILL come off, just keep going the way you've begun.

I also love that physicsdiet.com site that Nir posted.   I'm FLT over there too, and my charts are public.

What classes are you planning on taking at University in the next term?

Woot! I had my first exam today. One down one to go. It was pretty okay. I arrived at school this morning at 7am, and my exam was at 11:30am. So I gave myself a 4 1/2 hour window to study. Well I got to school only to find out that I had left all my french stuff at home, so I couldn't study for that exam until 9am when my friends came with all their french stuff. Haha. But that's okay because I had my biology stuff with me so I studied 2 hours with that. So Tomorrow I will arrive again at school at 7am to get a nice study done for that exam. I'm hoping to up my grade to a 93% with my exam (currently at 90%) So I hope I get well on it!!

Because it was exams my friends and I went to grab breakfast so I had a bagel with cream cheese and this ice cappicinno thingy at Tim Hortons, if there are any canadians in the house, you'll know what this is!! Haha :P

I don't know how many calories are in it, but I think it's about 400 ish. And I had a sandwich about half an hour ago when I got home (Had a snack). So I did pretty well today, got about 1700 calories in. Yay. This morning I weighed in at 212.8 pounds. Woot.

FLT I was thinking of using that "average weight" from physics, but it's still at 216 :(( And I don't like that number, haha. But once it gets down lower I'll start using that figure instead of the scale one. :)

WOOOOOOOOOOOT I'M DONE HIGHSCHOOL!!!

Man that feels awesome to say. It's offical on the 27th when I will have my graduation where I will receive a diploma aswell as a bilingual diploma!

Today my french teacher came up to me and told me that I had got the top note on the exam out of all the class, she didn't remember the exact note but she told me it was above 95% So wooot! Did my bio exam today, I am confidant I got a 90%, but I don't think I got my 95%:( Oh well, 90 is still swell!

I'm so so so so happy right now, ahhhhh. Finally done. Now I am no longer stressed for this summer and can really start focusing on me!

This morning I weighed in at 211.8 pounds, which I was like  to, because  I had had some sugar sweet coffee drinks, so I was pretty content to see that. It really made me happy for my big exam. YAY!

Congratulations, Ella on your new start!    Even now as I get close to goal, I find myself "starting over" at times.   We just need to renew our determination every once in a while.........and not let the time get too long in between, so we can stay close to where we were.

Maybe one source of inspiration to you, could be your ultimate goal?   I think it's hypocritical of Dr's. to preach health and weight loss (even pediatricians:wink:) when they are overweight themselves.     Or when we visited St. Mary's hospital in Rochester (affiliated with the Mayo Clinic), and their employees are on break, and standing in front of restaurants and hotels across the street smoking (no smoking allowed on hospital grounds!)    They are health care professionals...........and standing across the street with their cigarettes!:shock::shock:   What's wrong with this picture?

So, Ella, someday when you are a pediatrician (if that's the route you take), do you think the kids you treat, will take you more seriously if you are coaching them about their health if you look healthy?   Or if you are still overweight?    It would be incentive for me!

You go girl!                                   YOU CAN DO THIS!

So me and mom went to the movies saturday to catch the last showing of preminition. It's a pretty okay movie, I liked it, I'll probably end up buying it on DVD once it comes out.

Food wise I had a large popcorn...well, I had about 3/4 of it, cause mom had some too. So blah there. And then I had some of those chocolate covered caramel balls...mmm. So well, I had my fix for awhile, and won't be craving anything.

Current weight is 212.8 pounds. I'm happy about it. That's 5 pounds down in a week. Woot. I'll take it. :D:D:D

So today is my graduation! I have so much support...My parents are both going to be there, my sister and her little baby (my nephew) And my brother and his fiance! I think we'll be taking up the most space with so many people coming :P

I hope I win atleast one award, that would suck if I didn't. Since company is arriving today, mum has been stressed out all week trying to get our already clean house cleaner. We installed all new wood floors upstairs and have yet to paint the room...but that's okay, we'll do that after. Beds are set, the whole house is clean. Phew.

Yesterday me and mum were at walmart and she bought this huge brick of chocolate....and I've had about....10 squares of it...it's 200 calories per 3 squares. So yeah, that's about 667 calories right there Ugh!

But to my surprise I woke up this morning weighing in at 211.0 pounds. Yesterday I had these yummy chicken wraps for dinner, so that was good, and lots of yummy fruits!

Hey guys, for all the canadians out there: Happy Canada Day ! Woot!

I'm still at 211.0 pounds, though it is that time of month...so there may be some water weight there. Mom brought up the idea that I should get a graduation gift, and I've asked for a pair of rollerblades. So hopefully I get them! :D Then I can go rollerblade in my neighborhood for hours, woot.

OMG, you said the magic word (for me anyway LOL) - I am a Turbo Jam nut!  Don't get me started talking about that!  I won't stop!  If you've ever peeked at my diary, it's loaded with Jamming.  I honestly was hooked from the first workout; went back online and bought ever single TJ dvd package ever.  I have everything!  It honestly is a great workout and I've had lots of weight loss success with it. I've had to take a break from it recently because of my bad knee...and I am going thru withdrawal symptoms.

Anyway, congrats again!!!!

Thanks Scoobees, I actually have the 2 dvd's. I did use to use them...but I stopped for awhile. I find I like the 20 minute workout the best. She is an awesome enthausist. I might start trying to use the weighs one, it looks pretty okay.

It's been raining for the pass two days, so I couldn't go walking :( And I'm not sure if my parents want to buy me roller blades...they said they'd rather buy something else for me. So I have no idea.

Weight this morning was 207.2 pounds  So I'm PASS the 10 pound mark! WOOOHOOOOO!

I keep reading everyone's references to Turbo Jam, but I would probably just trip over the dogs if I tried to put in a DvD at home.

Hey Ella! You left and came back too? You're doing great! Congratualtions on graduating and dropping ten pounds! I can't even remember what it's like to lose 10 lbs. it must feel amazing!

I bet you'll start losing even more weight when you go to "university". That's when I did. First you're walking to all your classes which actually adds up a lot. I bet I walk 2 miles a day just between classes. But I don't know how big your campus is. Also, it seemed like once I moved out of my dad's house I ate much healhtier. He was never dieting, so there was always Ritz crackers, peanut butter, oreos, frozen burritos, etc, etc. around the house. But, when you're in your own dorm room/ apartment, you're the one that stocks the fridge. You'll also start to learn your favorite diet foods and all that. Just don't fill up on the booze too much ! So many people gain weight when they go to college and I blame it all on the beer/ beer munchies. When is your first day of classes? I have to go back Aug. 20th.

You're going to do great!
