Days before I didn't track much but I ate less, some days a little more...just when I was hungry and small portions. Too busy to track but basically didn't binge much. Hopefully I lost a pound this week.

My period came again and I got anxiety and got into binge mode again. I think I may possibly have gained 2lbs. I feel so sick now, I'd do good then give in to my cravings. I ate so much chips. Blah!
If I have time I'll weigh myself tomorrow and see where I stand. I have a lot of physical work to do this weekend so hopefully I'll burn some of these calories I ate. I'm sure I will burn at least 2000. I'm repainting my room and ceiling and tiling the floor, plus I have to clean and move furniture. I will be out doing errands so less likely to sit at home and eat chips:) hehe
Anyway I know I will get back on track later. My occasional binges don't faze me anymore. I don't need anybody's advice thanks, I'm just writing to vent and so that other people can relate thanks.
I want to eat better but I I'll do it a step at a time. I haven't been consuming as much diet soda. Problem is that then I bought flavored waters which have 100 calories compared to my 5 calorie diet sodas so I did drink diet soda again, better than drinking a 100 calories in vitamin water that I could be eating instead. I'll continue doing what works and change it if it doesn't. That's my motto, that and also that I have to find what works for me. What works for me may or may not work for everyone else and vice versa. Salads! No way, I need to eat!, I have been eating more fruits lately though I ate so much of it I still went over my calories, anyway I'm going to try to eat that instead of my chemical loaded snacks. I am not going to stop eating what I like forever that's for sure. Food makes me happy. I will not deny that or pretend to and yes I may be addicted to msg, but I'll let it go, I have before on the Atkins diet, though I occasionally ate pork rhines with msg. Now aspartame, that's gonna be hard to let go of, there are few low calorie drinks that don't contain aspartame and where is all the soda with splenda going?! I haven't been able to find any.

I have been reading about msg. I think I am addicted to msg and aspartame. Or caffeine or just flavored drinks:) but Vitamin Water has 125 calories so that's why I went back to diet pepsi. I wonder where is the thin line between health and enjoying my food? Just a question, no lectures please. I hope I can find a balance and still enjoy my food, because I love to eat:)

Hey Miss Katz,
just an observation on your question (not a lecture I promise) because it's similar to something I've been thinking about myself lately...the "fine line" that exists and the balancing act between physical/mental/spiritual/emotional health...even the very definition of healthy. I've tentatively decided that there's really no universal "absolute" regarding health - for every plus there's often a minus tagging along. In my case I got lucky with the food part 'cause pretty much every thing I've decided is healthy (and it's always changing/evolving) for my body is stuff I happen to also enjoy eating....in your case I think you're still struggling to decide exactly what your parameters are for "healthy" and the balance between healthy (as you define it) eating and healthy emotionally (enjoying what you eat without binging or weight gain)....I know it's tough...but I'm sure as you keep dealing with it you'll come to a balance that you can live with.

I bought some food. 3 boxes of low carb slimfast, some cornflakes I was craving and skim milk and some apples to eat with some peanut butter I have, also more mozzarella sticks. I'll probably be eating fast food for main meals, maybe I'll have cereal for dinner or something, I don't know. I'm still too lazy to taebo. I was thinking if I taebo I can eat junk food. I was drooling over this bucket of vanilla icecream I saw in the supermarket. I didn't get it because I know that would be the end of my diet. That icecream is so addictive, too yummy to resist. I shouldn't have had that hershey bar because I got fries, oh well. Tomorrow I'm gonna eat my cornflakes and apples and hmmm maybe a ham and cheese sandwich for lunch. Sounds boring, I hope I have room for some chips. I plan on walking tomorrow, maybe even weighing myself.
Hopefully I lost something. There is no way I could have gained, I've been good all week and my period just ended. My belly looks bloated right now.

Yippie I lost 1.5lbs., I'm back down to 136.4lbs.
Yesterday I overate so I'm just going to add that to todays calories. I walked some and burned around 200 calories.

I weighed in at 133lbs:) I lost 3lbs, probably water? Lightest I've been so far!

Slip-up I figured one day won't hurt and it won't but still feel like a

I notice I've been snacking less the last few days but I think it's because I've been anxious/excited about some things in my life. Works well with my diet anyway. I noticed my general hunger level is low. I haven't eaten dinner yet and haven't felt hungry. The dinner is the cuponoodle, I just wrote it ahead of time.
I think my belly is going down. I will post pics when I reach my ideal belly hehe

Well I decided not to weigh myself because my period is starting in a couple of days and I'm probably carrying excess water now. I'll wait a week or two more to weigh myself, hopefully by then I will be 132 or 131lbs.! Last night I got hungry because I stayed up so i ate an extra 310 from a cuponoodle, I'm going to add it to todays calories.

Well I got really hungry and I had planned on buying either a thigh and biscuit and staying on maintenance or just a thigh and staying on my diet. I ended up so hungry!
I decided to buy everything I wanted. Thoughts of binge eating, bulimia and anorexia crossed my mind. I had been watching anorexia and bulimia and binge eating disorder videos on youtube. I thought of that and remembered when I use to binge eat. I haven't in a long time. Then I remembered someone say it's okay to throw food away and considered that option. Finally I decided I'm going to buy what I want to eat and just eat bits of it and save the rest for tomorrow. That's what I did and I am stuffed!
edit: Noooooo. I ate everything, yes I did. I just ate it just because....no special reason. Well next time I will try to avoid buying so much perishable food because then I want to eat it. Whatever I will get on my diet tomorrow:)

I completely wrecked my diet last night. I ate steak and rice and lots of cakes. mmmmm, I BINGED!!! so I decided to eat less today-I'm doing alright. I hope this binge mode goes away. I have been stressed at work. Maybe that's why...I guess I needed some way to relax. Maybe I was rewarding myself in some way. I really don't want to go back up to 140, this is a pattern for me, I was the same in my 150's and 140's, I'd lose a few then gain a couple back then lose it, until I finally lost it:) but it is a pattern. I guess this binge thing will happen sometimes. I believe it's normal. I don't think it is an eating disorder, just human stress reactions. Anyway I hope I can have a better week next time. I will weigh in this weekend now that my period is ending. Well and that too, I tend to binge eat during this week of the month. I hopefully don't weigh more than 135lbs. but I'll see. I think I underestimate my calorie burns and metabolism somtimes.

I weighed in today at 132.7 but will round to 133, so I have at least maintained my weight by some miracle! because I have been bingeing so much lately and feeling like I'm gaining 2lbs. at least, but anyhow, good thing I'm not back up to 138lbs. again which was the result of my last binges from 134lbs. Okay.....I didn't measure I should have but forgot so I'll measure in 1-2 weeks after or before weigh in.
Could also be that I lost a pound and regained it without knowing I lost it because I didn't weight myself. So I could have been 132lbs.! but anyway, no problem really. I just have to jump on the wagon again:)

Losing weight again may mess up my skin as far as sagging and I have other reasons to not gain weight:) probably similar reasons to why most people don't want to regain.

But I'm not going fat again because if I do I may want to stay there. Losing weight again may mess up my skin as far as sagging and I have other reasons to not gain weight:) probably similar reasons to why most people don't want to regain.

I haven't posted in awhile because I have been overeating. Today I managed to do okay, but was hungry! I think I should make a plan and stick to it rather than wing it. That could probably help me to discipline myself more. I have just been stressed out with work and money issues. I haven't really taken care of myself and I have found myself too dependent on others for some things I should be able to do on my own. It's been up and down and my eating really reflects that anxiety. Hopefully calmer days are ahead and if not well, I can't give up on my goal weight. I accept my body as it is now, but I don't want to ruin my hard work and gain anything back!

today my coworker gave me a large cupcake but nope I didn't eat it. I was determined. I was hungry but I didn't snack because I know I'd want to buy candy bars.
Other than that I didn't feel too well. I was a bit depressed/down/figured either my serotonin/dopamine is low or my blood sugar or blood pressure because I didn't eat much. I also didn't have caffeine because sprite doesn't have any, but I slept well the night before.   trying to eat less/trying trying-I need self control. I occasionally have thought of pizza and popeyes but it's at the end of my work day when I'm hungry and stressed out and I can smell the food on my way home.

I'm like on a binge then eat less diet, maybe it's what they call yo yo dieting, but it's better than stuffing my face daily and gaining. I've been eating less for the most part and trying to stick to the plans I make for my eating that day. I slip up here and there.
Yesterday I had planned a sprite and a banana for breakfast but they didn't have bananas so I didn't eat anything else. Then at work someone gave me candy and I ate a few. My lunch was so small but my dinner was bigger. I had planned a cheeseburger for lunch and a ham and cheese sandwich for dinner, but I was so hungry at the end of the day I got tempted to buy 2 cakes, 2 donuts, and bbq chips. I stopped before lunging for the oreos because I remembered the last binge that included oreos made me feel sick. I was at home eating, but got a bit distracted and ate slowly. I saved one of the cakes for the next day.
