Hello. My name is Ricky aka FluffyJr86. The name refers to Gabriel Iglesias, the comedian who says he is not fat, he is fluffy. Anyway, I am 25 year old male who is a senior in college. I am on a path to lost weight. I have been heavy all my life. Right now I am the heaviest I ever been, as I weigh over 450 pounds. Not sure exactly since the weight scale I use only measures to 450. I will be doing Physicians Fast Diet until I can get to a reasonable weight. Here is what a day will be like.

Meals are 5 different meals, with 2 protein shakes, 2 snacks/protein bar, and dinner. The net calories are around 700 calories consumed a day.

As a workout, it will be an hour each day.

One day will be lifting weights for 30 mins and then walking the treadmill for 30 min.

Another day will be treadmill for 45 min and some physical activity outside, ex: basketball, throwing football

I will alternate works outs every other day, such as...
Monday - Weights/Walking
Tuesday - Walking/activity
Wednesday - same as Monday
Thursday - same as Tuesday
all 7 days.


I really hope that keeping an Online Blog (Diary sounds weird for a guy) will help me through this process. I would appreciate any suggestions or tips. Thank you!



Day 1, Monday July 25 2011.

I had my two shakes today, a banana, and a protein bar. I just ate dinner, which was a weight loss dinner of raviolis and had some broccoli and green beans. Before dinner, I have just finished working out. I have gotten weak, couldn't even hit 175 lbs on the bench press 8 times! Oh well, maybe in a few weeks. After this, I plan to walk on the treadmill. I will write on this blog every week and maybe post some pics. FluffyJr86 Out!

My name is Elizabeth (Betsy) and I am also new to these boards. Good for you for making changes and having a plan! We will all be here as you go through this!! :smile: I also have a diary/blog on here and it is quite fun to write about things and see what people have to say.

Day 7 July 31 2011.

Recap of my first week of dieting. I worked out every day except Friday and Sunday. Friday I went fishing, and sitting in the Sun just drained me. And I didn't catch a fish! I have been eating around 700 calories a day, and I decided to take an off day around the weekend. This week was Saturday, as I ate some pizza for dinner. I have been drinking nothing but water, and twice did i drink Gatorade. Today I am back on the diet, as I had oatmel for breakfast, a shake and bar for lunch, and now dinner, as shown below.



I went to go do me weekly weigh in and I still am too heavy for the scale. But I leared that it only reads to 440 lbs and not 450 as I thought before. This week I hope to achieve to be under 440 lbs. I know that I am close! Until then, FluffyJr86 Out!

I went on a little vacation with the family, so I couldn't really work out last week. I thought my treadmill had died, but I unplugged it for a few days and it works. I have been eating pretty good, except for last Tuesday, a week ago, when my cousin invited me to eat breakfast. I do not really see him that much so I decided to go, which had some good food, but I didn't overeight. Anyway, Monday, I walked the treadmill for 30 min without stopping. I am happy about this, as when I started to walk, I couldn't go for more than 10 minutes. I just got done walking today for about 26 minutes, just couldn't catch my breath. I did weigh myself, and I am so close to being under 440. The machine read 434, 440, 441.2, blank. #%@&!, almost. When I finally get under the 440 lb mark, I will post the results. I will wiegh myself real soon to see if I am right. Until then, FluffyJr86 out!

I had just noticed that the date and time whenever you post, and I have been writing it all along. Anyway I have been working my butt off to get to my first goal of under 440 lb. After a walking a mile on the treadmill and just some free weights with some dumbbells, I decided to go weigh myself. Here are the results:



I just got at reading. I am not quite under 440, but it is close enough! I feel good about reaching my first goal. I can now keep track of my progess. My new goal is to try and get under 430 when college start up again on the 22nd. Well, I am off to watch some preseason NFL. FluffyJr86 out!

Havent wrote anything in about a week, have been real busy. I got sick last week from swimming in a dirty pool. Who knew? Had an ear infection which stopped my workout and dieting for a bit. Also one day last week my cousin had a birthday party and I tried to get full on salad, but the BIG burritos were just calling me! HA! I didn't have time to weigh myself this weekend at the office where the scale goes to 440lb. I started school this week, and I think I found another exercise! Climbing these flight of stairs for such a large guys is a freaking workout! Today I have had two shakes and an apple. I am fixing to eat some salad and maybe another shake for dinner. I am going to walk the threadmil for about 25 min and then get ready to go to class tonight. I will for sure weigh myself this weekend and post the results. Untill then, FluffyJr86 out!

Wow I haven't been on in a while. I just have been busy with school. Just started back after a year and half off. My diet has not been as strict as I would have liked. I would diet with the shakes one day, and eat the next. The only good thing is that I have not eaten out fast food of buffets at all. I think I went to a buffet once the past 2 months. The exercises have been very little. I tried to wake up early to walk the treadmill, but I am really lazy. But today, I woke up early and walked 30 min straight! Yeah Buddy! Also, the parking garages at school have been giving me a freaking workout every day!! #%@&! packed school! I have not weighed myself since the last post, but I will for sure this weekend. I just need to learn to eat because I didn't eat for a whole day! I ate at 4pm one day, went to class, came home and went to sleep and woke up at 9am. Left to class and got home at 5pm. I need to pack bars in my truck. Oh well, here is my much delayed update. I will also try to write more and not stray away.
