OK, I'll go first!

On my 50th birthday in 2008       4 1/2 months on FL4I      Below:  8 months maintaining

Over 180 lbs!              Nov. 4, 2008 at 137 lbs!                           At 135 lbs.

                                                                                                 And after breast reduction

Can you see the difference in my face?  The first picture below was when I started the diet in June 2008 at 182 lbs. (not counting the cheesecake!) and the second one was Christmas Eve 2008 at 135 lbs. YAY!

The "Before" photo was taken in October 2007 (I started the diet on 7 January 2008).

The "During" photo was taken in November 2008. At that point I had lost approximately 50 pounds (22 kilos).

I will post my after photo when I have lost another 30 odd pounds.

Hugs

Joanne

PS: The All Blacks won both games

So! That's me before the diet, after the holidays. I've never been too big for my stature but I've lost a lot of tone in the past year. SO! I'm hoping that me posting this picture will galvanize me into staying on the right track! An after picture will hopefully come soon (cross your fingers for me!)

Here's to dieting with pleasure

Here's my newest pic, you can't see much of me (I'm usually the one taking the pictures) but I'm here at 165lbs, I have lost over 40lbs total, 30lbs on WLFI alone (started out at 208 after having my daughter).  I have modified WLFI diet to make it more of a long term diet, since I have ten more pounds to lose.  I could not stick with an 11 day diet, so my modified version is actually 6 days long, one cheat day, following with a fruit day (day 2-day7).  It works wonderfully and I drop 2lbs a week every week, even with the cheat day.  You may think 2lbs is not great, but when you lose alot of weight, your body slows down.  I can't lose 2lbs on any diet (weight watchers failed me after the first 10lbs, I stopped losing, and other diets alike in my lifetime).  165 is still overweight, but I will get to my next goal and this is a HUGE milestone.  This was the weight I was at when I met my husband, four years ago.

While most lactation consultants and doctor's would advise against dieting while  breastfeeding, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't. The foods on BC, except for rice, potatoes, corn and bananas, are foods pretty much allowed on a traditional diet. I was on another while I was breastfeeding so I wouldn't be much help there. My advice would be to continue with the diet and if you feel that your milk supply has decreased, maybe add some extra veggies on days where you eat all protein.  Frankly, I wish I had known about this diet while I was pregnant and when I was breastfeeding.

Thank you sunshine  and omayra for your support,i'll keep doing those diets ,because i fell greate and my milk suply it's stil good, and i feel that i have plently of food and my baby is ganing like 2 pounds and grows like 1.5 inches in a month so that means that she is geting good millk because i ghive her only breast milk ,i whant to breastfeed my baby at least one year ,so i hoppe everithing is going to be okay .

Unfortunately due to having a preemie as a first child, I could not breastfeed, so I can't offer advise on whether or not using this diet while lactating is a good idea.  I would say it may be too restrictive, but I know lots of lactating moms use weight watchers.

Posting another updated photo... one of these days I'll get a full body shot, but I'm too shy to ask my hubby to take one! lol...

Before pic is 2 months following the birth of my daughter.  Second pic was taken today (by my cell phone).  I am actually 20lbs thinner than I was when I got pregnant.  Never thought I'd be down to this weight again!!!!!! This is my thinnest weight of all time (only other time at this weight was in middle school, which was like 15 years ago).  Goal weight, is 154lbs (I'm 5' 6" Tall) - my husband tells me I better not lose my curves, so I intend to stay that way! 6 more lbs, total lost 46lbs.  30 of those were lost with weight loss for idiots.

Thanks for the encouragement! You don't see the brunt of my weight, which is in my hips.  Fortunately, I have an hourglass shape and that helps level out the hips (with a smaller waist).  I can wear a 12/14 on the bottom and on the top I fit in a size 6/8 Small!

I am so impressed, I have been telling people about this diet.

Although I am now 25 lbs over "MY" best number of 125 I really do not show it much that is bad since you are not so motivated to lose.

But I do look awful without clothes, where no one sees, but you galls looked unbelievable!!! and GUY sorry:

I had to photos since I am not photogenic neve was even when skinny.

I hope i do half a well as you all have.

Not sure how many cycles I've done but I've lost now a total of 52lbs bringing me down to 156.  Here's our latest picture, which will be our Christmas family photo.

This cycle I've been doing the handbook's diet.  It's for 9 days.  Today is the last day and I'm taking off for a few days for Thanksgiving.  I feel great and getting alot of compliments from people.  I even got one asking me if my health got bad because it seemed like I was loosing too much!

Next goal is 154 once that goal is reached next goal is 150, then ultimately 140.  I give myself ALOT of time, it's been a year to lose 52 lbs.

We're not planning on getting preggers til next fall, so I have plenty of time to lose 15 more pounds.  If I don't reach my ultimate goal, that's OK.  This is pretty much the slimmest I've ever been since, oh birth maybe?

Sweetieday...you look beautiful!!:rose:  Congratulations on doing so well(you have lost 1/3 of your present weight....woweeee!) and are continuing to lose.
You are wise to set mini goals.  It truly helps to celebrate these milestones and feel we have reached a goal rather than waiting until we have lost all of our weight to celebrate our achievements!  I celebrated each new smaller size!
Glad you stopped by!  We are having the joy of watching your  little one grow up!! And you will be in a very healthy place to welcome a new one next year!

Yay for cell photo pics! You look great at 143lbs, I don't think I could ever get down to that weight! Thanks all for the continuing encouragement.  I gotta get my friend to get on here to post pics, she has already lost 35lbs on the diet.  I talked her into going on it -- she says it works for her because she needs limited choices.  I'm so proud of her, she looks really different!
