Some on the FL4I general discussion forum have requested a place to keep a record/diary of their weight loss per cycle. I think this is an excellent idea.
This thread only to be used please for those that wish to post a personal record/journal/diary of their weight loss per cycle.
I have already reached goal and am doing well at maintaining but have posted a copy of my weight loss cycles to set the ball rolling.
I started the FL4I DG diet on 5th February 2011 and recorded my weight loss as follows:- Starting weight: 180lbs
First cycle I lost 12lb...
2nd cycle 6lb...
3rd cycle 5lb...
I had an 11 day break from the plan and lost 1lb.
4th cycle I lost 6lb...
Had a fall and suffered concussion so took a week off the plan whilst recovering but still ate sensibly and lost another 2lb.
5th cycle I lost 5lbs.
6th cycle I lost 3lbs
Reached goal on 11th May 2011 with a total loss of 40 lbs in 3 months!
Update: 25th June 2011...I have lost a further 8lbs whilst on maintenance.
Update: 8th July 2011... Lost a further 5lbs on maintenance.
Total loss: 53lbs!!! Wow!! Dress size 8uk (4us) with wriggle room!
Update 2nd August 2011:
Another 7lbs lost whilst on maintenance as I have 'leaned' off and toned up.
Total loss now is 60lbs!! and I feel GREAT!!!
Now weigh: 120lbs

Wow...what a great weight loss journey!!
Thanks for opening or "bumping" it back up.
I'll be starting Monday, June 27, 2011, so I'll post my starting weight then.

I decided to post my weight loss per cycle too. I am thinking of taking measurements also, but haven't done it yet. Anyway...here goes.....
I began my journey on June 22, 2011 at 226.4 pounds.
Cycle 1: 219 7.4 pounds

I'm not sure if any of y'all know about medhelp.org, but they have some outstanding trackers. I use the weight, water and exercise tracker.

Thanks Lorriane!! I'm stoked and so shocked that this picky eater ate and ate and ate and ate yesterday, not feeling hungry once and I lost!!!!
I'm journaling my experience on several sites trying to keep myself motivated and maybe inspire someone else that has struggled like so many of us have.
I was going to video blog on Youtube yesterday, but never got around to it.
I'm up earlier today trying to get things done around here before it gets too hot. Oklahoma is having some record heat and in a drought/state of emergency.
It's been 43 - 46C° or 107F° here for weeks. No rain.

Wow...you're right just an oz. You started 5 days before me.
How tall are you and what are your measurements if you don't mind sharing.
I think everyone here is cool and wouldn't post something mean here...and I'm sure if someone did the moderators would kick em to the curb.
It would just be cool to see how we are doing starting out at the same weight...almost.
I've already posted my starting stats here including my age and height...because those are a factor in any weight loss journey.

Well done Rachelle, looks like you have been retaining a lot of water. Just a thought maybe you should post your total weight loss after you have finished your cycle? instead of a daily update, I think daily updates get a bit tired for everyone else.
Just for the record, my first cycle lost 9lbs

Hi Lorriane, thanks for the encouragement...that was a big reason for me to come here ...I really need it, but I realize I'm over doing the daily update thing here, so I set up a journal in the diary section.
I thought I'd share this sign I found on a little shopping trip yesterday. I just had to have it.
Ok, I'll check back in after my 11 day cycle.

Rachellle... There is no reason why you can't update your record here every day if you want to... but may I suggest instead of writing a new post each day, click on the edit tab just above your last post and you can then update the info by adding your new info to that post... click send and it will be added to that post without a new post being generated. That way you will keep your record within that one post.
Also, pop into general discussion as often as you wish to let us know how you're doing... you don't need to post your record there as that is what you are doing on this thread but you could just let us know how you're doing by posting something on the lines of another 2lb down today now 7lbs gone.. or maybe even the dreaded 2lb gain! lol..... or something like that... so that we can support and encourage one another... that is what the forum is for and is all about... so please don't feel that you shouldn't post daily... I always did and that was the key to my success.

Day 2 1- Cycle 1 FL4I :06/28/11 I weighed in at 223.4 lbs
Loss 3.4 
Day 3 - Cycle 1 FL4I : 06/29/11 I weighed in at 220 lbs
another 3.4 lb loss 
Day 4 - Cycle 1 FL4I : 06/30/11 I weighed in at 219.4
Loss of .06 lbs
Day 5- Cycle 1 FL4I : 07/01/11 I weighed in at 218.6
Loss of 1 lb
Day 6- Cycle 1 FL4I: 07/02/11 I weighed in at 216.4
Loss of 2.4 lbs
Day 7- Cycle 1 FL4I : 07/03/11 I weighed in at 215.4 lbs
Loss of 1 lb
Day 8 - Cycle 1 FL4I: 07/04/11 I weighed in at 215 lbs
Loss of 0.4 lbs
Day 9 - Cycle 1 FL4I: 07/05/11 I weighed in at 213.6 lbs
Loss of 1.4 lbs
Total for diet is :13.2 lbs.

I've been walking on my treadmill 30 minutes a day now too. I got the treadmill shortly after my heart attack since my cardio doctor said I could only do 30 mins of exercise, but only used it a few times until recently...now it's part of my daily list of things to do.
I take the following supplements (keep in mind I had a heart attack 09/08/09 and recently came off of a ton of pain meds after being on them for years.
I take Per Day:
1000 mg of Vitamin C
Flaxseed Oil 1000 mg 3 times a day
Vitamin E 1000 I.U.
MegaRed 100% Pure Omega-3 Krill Oil 300 mg
One A Day Women's Active Metabolism
Vitamin B-12 1000 mcg
FL4I doesn't require any supplements, but after having Serotonin syndrome, Flukes and going through mega withdrawls coming off all those pain killers within the past 40 days, I really needed some good stuff going through my system.
I drink about 84 fl oz of water daily
I eat my meals about 3 hours apart
I only eat until I'm satisified and many times when it's time to eat I'm not very hungry, but try to get in all 4 meals a day.

Ending Weight, Friday, July 08, 2011: 214 (gained 1.2 lbs over night...weighed in earlier, didn't sleep and past 2 days have been stressful (not due to FL4I)
Lost 12.8 lbs
Weight: 214 lb
Waist: 39 in Lost 4 inches
Chest: 43 in - Lost 2 inches
Hips: 43 in - Lost 3 inches
Thigh: 25 in - Lost 1 inch
Arm: 15 in Lost 1 inch
Neck: 14 in Lost 1 inch
So that's 11 inches....and 12.8 pounds gone POOF! in 11 days!
Yeeeeee Hawwwwww!
Now onto my
FREE DAY WEEKEND BEGINS!

Seems like those 11 days of Cycle #1 just flew by as the pounds and inches flew off.

Rickie.. 11 inches and 12.8lbs Yay!!!! That is very impressive!! Well done you and congrats... you're doing a fantastic job!!

Enjoy your choice days but remember.. MODERATION is the key along with keeping to the PRINCIPLES of the plan and you can get through them with little of even no gain!

Hi Rachellle.... Wow! 7.6lbs IS a lot to gain on your weekend off... BUT 4.8lbs is a lot of loss in just one day back on plan so looks like its panning out ok.
Your mistake was thinking of the weekend as a 'free' weekend instead of a 'choice' weekend. As you have learned, you can't eat 'freely', you're still on a diet so in order to not gain you need to eat differently than on the plan but with good 'choices'.
However, after saying that, it is brilliant that you have lost so much after your 1st day of cycle two, but that tells me some of your gain was probably water retention.
Now you can continue onwards towards your goal... Go for it!
