What's "4 worse for the wine"??? I think she meant "worse for wear"! I looked it up... 1. Euph. intoxicated. example-You were the worse for wear last night. The three came stumbling in, the worse for wear again.
Oh, Lorraine..... I am not envying you come morning time!!

its good to be officially back here.......missed you guys.
phew....had a hectic weekend and what a relief it is over !!!!
just could not wait to start my next cycle....i am better off that way.....cheat days stress me out....because....i still cant control myself !!!!
have not weighed yet.....will report later.
Lorraine.......6 glasses !!!! lol that is way too much for you !!!! was that post really slurry or just to make us laugh !!!
butterfly........questions questions....lol........well ....my hubby is a mechanical engineer and is senior supervisor in a petrochemical / gas company....
now these guests....hmmmmmm...well.....in a couple of months we kind of have this get together for the weekend....its a religious thing !! so all women here at home and men at mosque.....so yes was super busy with cooking cleaning etc !!!
though i was not alone...neighbors too helped !!!
seriously you are organizing a party for 200 people !!!! wow !! and are you going to cook !!!!
party so big we generally book some kind of a reception hall and the caterers their takes over the food buffet...so basically only guest list for us....dont think i could ever manage so many people.....and also we dont have such big house or surroundings to fit them in !!!
so you must be super busy in planning everything.....good luck !!!
that millet sounds soo tasty !!!
eva.....yaaayyy you are back with your individual posts !!!!
your dad must be their by now...so going to be busy with him...right ?? so are you planning to start a cycle then....dad must have got goodies... and also you will be doing some amount of cooking....but hey its best to be on plan than indulging in everything and gaining !!
but hey you actually lost !!! gosh its sooo easy for me to gain !!!
as for the plan ...elina send me 2...i did the one which has fruit / vege day on day 6 ....it has less carbs..i think 3 sandwiches......the other has almost 5 ....same as Daniels.....haven't tried those though !!
now in this i followed it properly but on 2 sandwich day i ate 1 then for second we had gone out for dinner r so had 2 bites of butter naan..... ...that could be equivalent to bread...lol....
you could choose a low cal bread as you'll have lots of choices there...also i think bran or brown....i had eaten soya bread...but this time i have got wholemeal bread...lets see how it goes .....
as for workouts ...oh boy !! same as you....sheer lazy... .....i am doing it just for getting fit and reducing...if i would have been slim then surely wouldn't have bothered with it !!! lol
i think that's why i like Jillian....only 25 mins !!!! .....lol.....
well done on that flamenco skirt...knew you could it !!! ....a pic please !!
good luck with your cycle.....i will be a day ahead of you...am doing the same one again...lets see after this may shuffle again ....
elina........skinny !!!! me !!!!! lol ....well that's a good compliment... ......well i must have definitely gained and crossed the 200 mark again...because i was soo close to it...lol.....but i know i will loose it !!!
so how was your little boy in the soccer game ???
so your hubby is planning to do your DVDs......uuhmmm is that with you !!! .....then that's it beware ..... .....lol.......
amy ....... ..............that was really an amazing loss considering you had blt's . but you managed to complete the full cycle !!! which you had difficulty in the past ..right ???
so how is your cheat day going ???
anita...?????? how is everything with your mom ?? take care .
getting late for my workouts...yes doing it after 2 days...well actually i always skip it after a tiring weekend...lol....but get the cycle started at a right note !!!!
i have sooo much cleaning washing to do today.....it seems everything is out in the laundry baskets !!!
will bbl.....with my stats......

OMG!!! lol... I had NO idea I had typed that post last night SO badly! Glad you all saw the funny side!
Yes, butterfly, I definitely WAS worse for wear judging by all the typos AND for forgetting to proof read the post before clicking 'send'. I ALWAYS check on the forum before I go to bed and that was the result of TRYING to post after an evening of drinking too much wine!
When I got back from my evening walk last night hubby had surprised me with candles all around the room, soft music playing and he had prepared a chicken supper to include a couple of bottles of red wine. I don't usually drink so much wine.. lol.. got a bit carried away there!
Anyway... I had a bit of a thick head this morning but nothing too bad.. lol. I'm ok now though.
I'm busy preparing sunday lunch of roast pork with lots of veggies
Zas... Don't worry about that small couple of pounds gain.. they will be gone again within the next couple of days if you stay pop! Wow!! 40lbs gone!! You're half way there girl!!! Fantastic result! Keep going and good luck on your new cycle
Elina... Yes, we did have fun! lol.. Woke up in the middle of the night soooooo thirsty and drank at least a pint and a half of water.. so maybe that's why I don't feel so bad today.. thank goodness!
Hope everyone has a lovely sunday!

Lorraine you are too funny! And butterfly googling....I just assumed she misspelled something! You guys are a riot!
Lorraine that is so sweet of your hubby to surprise you like that! you are one very lucky lady! Years ago my husband and I went to Spain and we drank a lot of wine. Then we got back to St. Pete (b/c were living there at the time) and we found this wine we loved there. And we went through this phase of whine drinking. One night we got so drunk and decided to go for a walk. Somehow we wound up on the subway....a Russian subway is a live show in itself and it did not disappoint. But I hated that cloudy feeling in my head the next day. I have not drank wine in a long time...not enough to get drunk anyway but it was fun back then!
Zas...welcome back to the diet! I did not realize that you have lost 40lbs! Wow! Well...keep going! :)
What is the religious thing you're talking about? Is it a holiday, tradition? When is it?
I'm so sleepy....we went to bed pretty late last night as we were at our neighbors' hanging out. Then she woke me up this morning b/c their daughter was doing a horse show (she rides) so I decided to go see her...at 8am. 8am is not early for me during the week but on weekends...OMGosh I was so happy in my bed!
See you guys tomorrow morning!

ya right but i am not too happy today !!! oh well ........
day 2 ......been pop
elina....well....i am counting my loss from April 2010....lol... .....actually that's when i had started this diet ....but in 2011 had gained most back so overall yes lost 40 lbs....but this time round....27 lbs !!!! i feel i can do it...that huge loss last cycle king of motivated me....yes yes i know subsequent cycles will not be like that.....but at least i have learned to stay away from blt's .... ...ie during cycles !!!!
i was so grumpy and sad in the morning that just went to watch some shows instead of working out !!! i know working out would have made feel better !!!
Lorraine........thanks for the kind words....lol....but still i was not good....though by day2 and 3 of cheat days i tried to take care !!!
that was so sweet of your hubby....candles..etc....wow !!!! we have never done that !! lol maybe when our kids have all grown up and settled down ....
where is everyone...hey its Monday....rise and shine guys !!!!
good luck to those starting today....eva are you starting your cycle ?? dad must have arrived.
its getting hot day by day....temp reaching almost 100 !!! in a month it will go to 115 !!
ps : does anyone here know that nir places weight loss challenges ....its lasts for a period of 2 mths.....i always join it.. .....but this time it kind of worked...lol....here is the link for the latest one !!!

Good morning!
Zas...why aren't you happy today? Hey i was going to email you last night but couldn't find your email...I found an OLD menu but it doesn't have a lot of carbs like the other one...do you want it? No pasta at all!
Hey, you don't have to wait till your kids are grown to do candles with hubby!Although we haven't done it in a while, it's fun when we do! Just tell the kids to go to bed :) Or sometimes I have candlelit dinner with the kids....they love it!
Lorraine, feeling better today? Fruit day for you?
UGH Monday! lol I don't know why I feel this way about them...I think I need to change my mindset and be happy about a beautiful day..who cares if it's Monday, right?
Well...off to start my day...workout done..well almost...have to do abs and then I'm done.
I'll be back later and hopefully some of our missing friends will be back including Butterfly! :)

oh Zas...PMS! That's usually the problem! Well...it'll pass. And it's cute that hubby called 3x already...means he is feeling guilty!
No, you're not a bad mom. On one hand, I want the kids in school ..on the other..means I HAVE to get up. Also if I had more than 2.5hrs of freedom to look fwd to, I'd be a little more excited! lol Next year should be a little better for me.
now my 4yr old is whining the daily song of why I have to go to school...we have this conversation EVERY DAY! UGH! Then I feel badly and leave him home and then I regret it b/c I get nothing done.

Hey Everyone - I'm back and ready to move on into my next cycle.
Lorraine - Wow! You sounded like I felt on Friday, had a few drinks and was feeling quite tipsy! It was fun, though and it sounded like you had fun too! What a sweet hubby you have!
Elina - I did the new version last cycle and started the old version today. When I read your posts about weight loss, we sound so similar! I feel the same way you do, sometimes you just need a break. That's what my choice weekend is for, but I have a hard time keeping it under control. I did not get full and drank some water, but not enough, so I gained 2 lbs.... I'm hoping it comes back off quickly as I am motivated again for this cycle! Are you doing a new one or old one?
My hubby and I went to the movies and did some shopping. We did not go to lunch because we were going out that night and I knew we were having some drinks so I wanted to save the calories. We had a wonderful time together and had time to talk and connect, we are going to try to do it again soon! :)
Eva - Thank you! I feel very blessed to still be in love with my husband. We have been together for so many years and have really grown up together. That's not to say we don't have our moments, we certainly do, but all in all its good! How about you, are you married? BF?
Hope everyone is having a great Monday!
Amy

Hey, GIRLS!

I am SO EXCITED I can hardly STAND it!! K. comes home from college for the WHOLE summer in THREEEEEEE DAYSSSS! I CANNOT WAIT! Sheesh, I miss her when she's gone! We are going to get her and pack up all of her stuff this Thursday morning. Woohoo!
zas wrote: its good to be officially back here.......missed you guys. We SO missed you TOO, Zas!
butterfly........questions questions....OH! SO SORRY....didn't mean to be NOSY!! seriously you are organizing a party for 200 people !!!! wow !! and are you going to cook !!!! Yes... people will all be outside though (except for using the bathroom), so I HOPE we have good weather! We will have some tents set up, with tables and chairs under them. I AM cooking some of the food and I think I found a friend that I will hire to "oversee" the food.... refilling, etc. ....so I am not in the kitchen the whole party! LOL. So far, I am making my pea salad (w/ cranberries & peanuts), chivey cottage cheese, honey mustard greens salad (w/ sharp white cheddar, pine nuts, cranberries, and criminis), venison chili (w/ cheddar cheese, sour cream, nachos), buffalo shredded chicken sandwiches (eaten on a bun or w/ corn chips), hot dogs (w/ toppings & buns), taco rice and beans, garlic almond steamed string beans, hot crab spread (w/butter crackers) feta spread w/ crunchy, multigrain crackers, lemon cookies, oatmeal skotchie cookies, white chocolate cranberry cookies (K & L will bake ), skotcheroos, OTHERS are providing: corkscrew Italian pasta salad, BBQ chicken legs and wings, huge fresh fruit salad, veggies and dip tray, cheese tray, jalapeno poppers (w/ homemade jalapeno jelly), brother-in-law is grilling bratwursts, and we are hiring out for ALL the other desserts...Buckeye cake (choc. cake w/ peanut butter flavored buttercream icing w/ individual buckey chocolates on ea. pc.)....since he's going to go to OSU (Buckeyes ), a couple other cakes (one w/ his FACE on it! LOL), mini cream-puffs, and various finger-chocolates and mini-confections, assorted scarlet and grey candies (OSU colors). Still need to figure out how to do a LOT of coffee.... and drinks. One good thing, a lot of the items I am making can be made ahead or even made ahead and frozen. SO.... that will help.
so you must be super busy in planning everything.....good luck !!! Thanks, Zas.
Hope you feel better SOON! PMS is the PITS! At least you know the cause and that it's temporary. Hang in there! STAY POP! That will help you feel better more than anything els....and your workouts...get those good endorphins flowin!
Eva ~ How's the visit w/ your Dad?
Lorraine ~ How you feeling? Back to yourself, yet? Your hubby is the BEST!
Elina ~ B.A. was homeschooled until 8th grade...he went to public school to play basketball, mostly. So..... he's graduating from our local public school highschool. I'm curious... where does you neighbor's daughter keep her horse? I want one SO, SO, BAD.....always have. Hubby built me the horse barn with 2 stalls, but that's as far as it has gotten. LOL! He is not as enthusiastic about getting horses as I am!
Danielle ~ How's school going? Missing your Honey, I bet . How are you doing with your meal portions?
Boogy ~ Two pounds will be gone, probably w/in the first 3 days of this cycle. Almost always is "waste and water"....so....not bad AT ALL! Glad you had a nice time w/ hubby. Yep.... the choice weekends are what KEPT me on this plan all those months. You're only "on a diet" for 11 DAYS at a time! Loved that!
Anita ~ Hope you are doing okay...and your mom and family. We MISS you!!
Julie ~ How are you doing? Still doing your cycle?
K..... I need to get going. BBL!!

Hey Guys,
Butterfly...ever see 'Forrest Gump'? that's how I felt reading through your menu...lol 'shrimp gumbo, shrimp bisque, shrimp salad'...lol You were just rattling it off...wheew that is some menu! And LOTS of work!
My neighbor does not own a horse (she did but I think she's not now). She goes to a farm down the road and rides there. Where I live used to be all farm land and a lot of those family farms sold the land off to be developed. So w/in a 5mile radius there are still quite a few farms here.
So what do you do with your barn w/o the horses? It's just there? I'm not into farming or horses at all..too much work. I couldn't even keep up with my little garden outside! Or my plants. I don't have one plant anymore....the ones that lasted, died in the 'heat wave'..oh well.
Amy, glad you had a great time with hubby. I also feel 'reconnected' when we have our time away from the kids and everything else. We took a trip a couple of months ago and it was the best thing for us...really reminds you that you need that every so often.
I am not doing a cycle, I am feeling good. I'm hoping the last couple of lbs will come off by me being good. I've been at or around my goal for a couple of years now. Every now and then I fall off the wagon but the diet always helps me get back up again. I just have to be good.
Well...it's breakfast time ...see you guys later! Yes it's after 11am...haven't had time to eat yet!

Amy.....you did better than me ......truly these cheat days keep us going !! Good luck on your next cycle.....let's be pop....and you are doing the old plan ie. the one which has vege / fruit day on day 6 ?????
Elina......lol.....breakfast soo late !!!! Aren't you hungry in the AM ????? by that time I am having my. Second meal !!!!!
It's almost 7 pm here.....homework time.....but hungry.....but if I eat now then by the time I sleep at 11 I will be hungry.....so better delay 1 more hour ......actually had only fruit salad for my 3 rd meal ....so got digested pretty soon....lol....
So Elina.....share us your skinny weight !!!!!!

Zas..can't share...haven't weighed! It really affects how I feel/see myself and I moved the scale from my bathroom so I'm not hopping on/off all day. I'm guessing I'm w/in a couple of lbs of where I was, just not sure how much exactly. I'm trying to be good for my mom's bday..the party is on the 12th. I will weigh myself that morning...or maybe not! We'll see. I just needed to take a break from the scale...clothes fit so I'm happy.
I usually don't eat breakfast until 9:30-10am. If I eat earlier then I am starving before lunchtime. Lunch is usually around 1ish but sometimes it's not...esp if I'm not home. Dinner is usually 6-7....I don't get hungry at bedtime and if I am, I just try to ignore it.

Zas - I am doing to plan that has fruit/veggie day on day 4....this thursday,...ugghhh!
We just finished season 5 of Supernatural....OMG.....OMG....you need to tell me where you are at! I can't wait until you see that one, it was amazing! Then of course I had to go to the next season and ended up only getting 6 hours of sleep last night...so I'm a bit tired today. I'm totally addicted! Yes, lets stay POP!

Hi, GIRLS!
Pretty quiet in here today! Where is everyone?
Wow was it ever a beautiful day here today! FINALLY warm….actually almost hot! It got up to almost 80 degrees. Tonight, we just got a thunderstorm and rain....kind of nice, though.
Elina ~ Yes, I’ve seen Forrest Gump…HAHAHA……can’t say as I’ve ever been compared to him, however! LOL! I think I was “thinking out loud when I was typing my food list!” OR…. Rather, “thinking with keyboard!” HA! I am dreaming party plans and waking up thinking about it. Uggh. This stuff really stresses me out. Too much of a perfectionist when it comes to serving others, I guess.
Nope, the barn isn't empty... just the horse stalls. Hubby puts a grain wagon in my horse barn right now and some other “storage” items. It also has another finished side that has his shop, a ping-pong table, and one of those basketball shooting games….oh, and a walk-in freezer for keeping our “free-range meats” cold ...... ‘til they can go to the butcher. It also has an upstairs with one half hay mow (for our goats) and the other half “man cave” LOL! The “cave” isn’t finished yet, though…. It just has a couch, a coffee table, and a couple chairs. Downstairs also has an addition on the end that houses the big wood furnace that heats our house and a room for storing pool chairs, etc. SO… the barn definitely is being used, just no in the stalls. LOL! He hasn’t built my tack room yet, either. I’m too busy now, anyway w/ homeschooling the boys and everything else….who am I kidding! LOL! Horses ARE a lot of work though, you are right!
Glad you’re feeling good and your clothes are fitting nicely, now. Good job on moving the scale. It will drive you crazy, huh? Mine is upstairs in our master bathroom and I just weigh in the mornings…usually every other. I don’t even go back up there during the day, usually…unless I have laundry to put away. SO…. I’m not really “tempted” by it. I am so bloated today, though. It’s crazy how fat that can make you feel! Probably gonna get my monthly gift soon. Plus it’s Monday… always seem to feel that way after the weekend. Drinking a ton of water and tea today, hopefully that will help. Hey… whatever happened w/ you and the P.G. Magnesium stuff?
Zas ~ Yep, a LOT of food…for a LOT of people! LOL! Probably a good thing you couldn’t “make out” any of it! I am going to eat a little bit of ALL of it, that day!!! LOL!! Welll….maybe! My eyes are bigger than my tummy sometimes! Especially NOW… tummy definitely does not hold as much as it used to. Either that, or it’s the eating slower and realizing when I’m full thing. Probably a combination.
Awwww… that’s right… forgot your son was coming in June! How long will he get to stay? I bet his sisters miss him, too! It will be here before you know it! That will be a good day, huh?
Kids are tucked in bed and I feel like chillin’! Time for some more tea!
TTYL!, Ladies... Havea nice night/morning!

day 3........
did my workouts in the AM....
butterfly....that sounds like an amazing barn !!!! gosh you are so lucky to have so much space and such surroundings !!!
more than my teen daughters .... ....my youngest misses her brother the most !!!
she always cries when she talks to him.
elina....i thought you always would hop on the scale everyday....lol.....good for keeping it away.....i think i should too.....because not all cycles are going to be the same... ...so any slow loss will demotivate me !! better to wait and weigh at the end to get surprised or shocked ...
amy......finale of s05 !!!!! wow girl...i am still on s03....lol.....wondering if i finish so quickly then what to watch next ? well something will definitely come up !!!!
the other day my girl was watching the same s05 finale...and i was not trying to look there ...so yes she too was pretty excited...lol.....and i gave her that look " that if you tell me the spoiler then you are done for " !!!!!
in between i watch other regular ones that come out .
ok off i go eat my second meal......chicken tikka ....

Zas.... I lurveeeeeeee chicken tikka! lol.
Glad to hear you are still working out. I am sure that, combined with being so pop, on your last cycle contributed to your massive loss!
Butterfly... Your barn sounds awesome.. what a lovely home you have! I would love that! I know I live next door to a farm but it is not the same as having my own.. like you. You are sooooooooo lucky!
Elina... I too am surprised you don't weigh every day.. lol.. somehow, I just imagined you doing that! I only weigh once a week, usually on a friday, but have found that I have become less obsessed with the scales as time goes on throughout my maintenance. I've gotten into a routine of what and how I eat and my weight has remained stable so I suppose I don't feel the need to jump on the scales so often.
Boogy... How's the 'old' plan working out for you so far.. are you enjoying it?
Gotta run.. dog needs walking! BBL

good morning!
Trying to get myself geared up for workout...cardio is hard to do first thing in the am! But I have to!
Lorraine..I am an every day weigher...sometimes multiple times. But I needed to take a break from that thing so I had to move it from the bathroom b/c even if I told myself Im staying off for a few days, I'd be on it. And that number really affects me....so...we're separated...lol for a little bit. I know my body and pretty much know what range I'm in so I'm ok. We'll get back together in a couple of weeks.
Zas, is that supernatural that good? I have to check it out. We are getting the Dish put in our house today instead of cable...I'm so excited. I don't know why...I don't even watch TV that much! LOL But I'm so tired of the cable boxes....was just about ready to trade them in for new ones b/c both are acting up.
Ok...off to hop around!
BBL!

Good Morning Ladies! I seriously have to pull it together.... Was doing great yesterday, then was starving when I got home from work and had....not 1, but 2 cookies, homemade that I made this past weekend....UGGHH! I was so disappointed in myself, I think had some tortilla chips, was just craving sugar and salt, I guess. But, I'm back on track today! I can do this!
Lorraine - If I could be good..... yes, I like this old plan. I like that it is different and I have done the new one off and on for a long time, so I'm hoping to stick to this one and get some good results.
Have a great day everyone...BBL

Lol Lorraine.....just saw my post and I had misspelled it it's actually gulab jamun ....I was writing from my cell and you know how those keys are small for my fat fingers !!!
It's more like dumplings in syrup and not donuts ......but anyway tastier than dumplings.

Boogy... Don't beat yourself up.. we've all been there and done that! The good thing is you got straight back on track. Try to stay pop from now on and that one little hiccup won't make too much of a difference Good luck!

I forgot to ask....what does everyone do if they have had all of their meals, but did not eat enough to be satisfied and then get hungry..what is the best option? Do you try to just not eat or do you pick something from that days menu and have more? I have considered the BC because I do like to eat 5-6 meals per day because I don't eat as much at each meal, but I like the choices on DG better....any advice? I think eating more often keeps your metabolism going....what does everyone think?

Boogy.. quick reply as Im on my way out... Try to space your meals equally at regular set times each day to avoid getting hungry in between meals. Drink lots of water in between meals to keep you satisfied and keep busy to take your mind off food. If I get hungry an hour or so before a meal I go for a walk.. works every time!
If you really can't stave off the hunger pains.. eat a piece of low GI fruit.. but only as a last resort.
Gotta go or I will be late...

hi amy....i will ditto as to what Lorraine said....spacing is essential !!!
still if you feel you are way too hungry and its interfering the cycle then go for BC....i had done that initially and lost about 16 lbs with it then switched to dg !!!
hunger more than stomach is in the mind...when we fast .(we have a month long yearly fasts ) ..ie for 14 hrs continuously ..no drinking and eating...at a time our stomach starts growling but then after a couple of mins...it simply vanishes.. ...our mind adjusts to it or simply says shut up no food is going to come !!!!! lol
last year our fast lasted for 18 hrs !!!!
so keep yourself busy and that hunger pang will go away. good luck.....
ps: watch supernatural that will surely scare the hunger away.....lol...lol...lol....

Thanks Zas, I know you are right in that it is the mind, but I find that if I know I'm going to eat again in a couple of hours, I do pretty good in gauging my hunger and not eating too much. I will give this a try, if it gets bad I will switch to BC. Which one do you like better and why?
Very funny about Supernatural! It is pretty scary.... the first few seasons I did not watch before bed because they were giving me nightmares! But now, I'm used to all the demons, etc.... it's definitely a wild show.
Has anyone else done BC and if so, what is your honest opinions? Hope I'm not driving everyone crazy with ALL of my questions...

Hi guys,
Zas...i will give SN a shot once I have some time...have some projects (picture albums) I need to work on at night.
Hey my neighbor's parents are visiting (they live about an hour away) and her mom cooked something yesterday....curried potatoes with hard boiled eggs and this fried dough round things...I didn't have any but it looked interesting but def greasy! So far I have not had any Indian food except for the restaurant we went to a while back.
Amy...you really should eat enough to last you 2.5 hrs (or a little more). Don't be afraid to eat b/c there is no portion control. IF you are so hungry that you can't stand it and a cup of hot tea does not help, then a sugar free jello could help. Also maybe some cucumber slices or a small side salad. But really if you space your meals right and eat big enough portions, you should not be hungry. Also as the week goes on, you'll find that you are not as hungry any more...at least that's how I feel. Don't be afraid to add some kind of veggie to your meals...I add tomatoes or pickles to my protein b/c I can't eat just protein. Or a small side salad with lettuce....bulks it up!
And Zas is right...it's more mental than anything. A few days ago i was out and I had my breakfast way too early so I was hungry by mid morning. I was so cranky b/c I was hungry and all I wanted was to go home and eat. But I couldn't b/c I wasn't done my errands and suddenly I realized that the hunger passed and I was ok.
I've done the cookie thing before....so honestly...don't make any or make enough so there are no leftovers b/c they will tempt you!
I have never done the BC but when I looked at it, it was just too much work trying to figure out what to eat and the whole 6 meals a day...good in theory but you have to have those meals on hand. Plus I like being told exactly what to eat...but people have had good results with it. Maybe that one is better for you b/c it gives you a little more flexibility....take a look, does not hurt!
Lorraine...cute post...every bite you take...lol I'll have your eyes on me next time I'm shoving candy in my mouth!
Zas...hwen you do that fast, do you lose weight? I don't know if I could do that! I get sooo cranky when I'm hungry!
Butterfly...my workout was great. The hardest part is getting started, then I am ok and time went by fast. I love this particular workout.
bbl...

amy....you are right....so used to the demons now that they dont scare me !!! lol
i remember couple of years back my son recommended it and i saw the first ep ...i had to quit it midway...gosh it was soooooo scary ....i think that was the scariest....lol....or just getting used to it now ...
elina....fasts are coming in july !!!!and no we dont loose weight lol.....some do gain.....
and you know why, because we have so many rich foods once we break our fasts...all fried items, pakodas....+ various desserts.....so i am going to be careful this year and avoid all that.....i remember 2 yrs back when i was doing this diet and had taken a break for a month i would just eat those foods to the minimum and fill myself up with fruit salad !!!
well its almost midnight !!!! have to get up at 3.30 Am
see you'll tomorrow

Zas ~ LOL! That’s so funny about your daughter giving you "that Look". Good for her! So… I’m assuming you “listened”? ha! Thanks for the congrats. Lorraine asked me and I took a few days to decide. I’m a bit nervous that I’ll do it “right”….LOL! BTW… she is NOT going anywhere…except when she goes on holiday, but I think she said she’ll have her laptop w/ her… as long as they have internet wherever she goes. I am happy to help Lorraine out. See…. Zas…. I told you I wasn’t going anywhere! Teehee. Glad you found your stevia!
Elina ~ Glad you had a good workout. I forget… which one are you doing now? I was thinking about this today… you get up and workout before your kiddos are out of bed, right? I was wondering if that ever wakes them up? LOL! My guys are such light sleepers, they'd be up whining for breakfast if I tried that!
Oh, and I have been meaning ot ask you. You had mentioned a Walden Farm’s salad dressing you liked. Raspberry something? Was that the SF one or the calorie-free, SF one? I still haven’t seen those other ones you mentioned that taste better. So… how many calories do the “other” ones have? Just curious.
Boogy ~ Yep… we’ve ALL “been there done that”. You know what, though? If that is all you had… you actually did pretty good. I’m sort of like Elina…we’re “all” or “nothing” …. at least w/ dieting. We are either “off” or “on”. I am way better now, since doing fl4i for almost 9 months. BUT… I still have a maintenance plan I am following…still need “guidelines”. If that had been ME… I would have eaten a whole plate of cookies and a whole PILE of chips! LOL! Hey… did you say you “think” you ate some tortilla chips? LOL! I had to laugh when I read that. You did the right thing though, jumping back on right away! Good job! I found the first 3 days after Choice weekends were the MOST difficult. I knew if I made it through those, I was okay. Not sure if you will find that to be true or not? I think it's part mental, party "physical".
As far as what to do if you are still hungry…there are a few options. First of all though, I bet you aren’t eating enough in your meals. You do need to eat enough on this plan, so your body doesn’t “think” it’s starving and start “hoarding” fat. You want your body to BURN the fat… so… make SURE you are eating until satisfied. It takes awhile figuring out the balance. BUT…if you DO find yourself hungry…. definitely drinking hot beverages and tons of water will help. Coffee usually curbs my appetite right away. I use vanilla-crème stevia and a splash of no-sugar almond milk in it. Also… you can get the sugar-free Snack Pack Jellos (5 cal. ea….strawberry is my fave). I get that brand because it doesn't have aspartame in it. Have you heard of the Miracle Noodles and Miracle Rice? Those have saved me many a times on fruit day! I put them in very low cal. chicken broth….mine is 10 calories for ½ an asceptic box (Private Selection-organic) then I season them w/ garlic, herbs, etc. You can even add tomatoes, onions, and peppers if you’d like…. Or you can make sort of a stir-fry with just a little of the broth..and a few veggies w/ the noodles or rice. I also really like the Walden Farms’ garlic & herb pasta sauce. Like Elina said, a side salad…and I really like the Walden Farms’ balsamic vinaigrette…mmm. All of these are an unbelievabley 10 calories or less! PM me if you would like specific info. about the products I mentioned.
Also, Zas mentioned BC (Beyond Calories). I have a write-up I did for someone else inquiring about that. It just talks about the main differences between the DG (Diet Generator) and BC. Just let me know if you are interested. It is definitely more “involved” than the DG plan.
Lorraine ~ Thanks for your kind words! It has been a long journey and I could absolutely NOT have done it without all of the wonderful support here. I enjoy “giving back” and look forward to partnering with you. Like you said… basically doing what I’m already doing . I’m still just “one of the girls” and I still need everyone here! I still remember the first time you responded to me on the forum with such encouragement and I was so unbelievably grateful to have the support and someone to share my journey with! If you remember, I was actually in tears because I had dieted off and on for YEARS…dieted my way up to 220 pounds! AND…I had ALWAYS dieted ALONE…completely alone. Most of the time, trying to hide the fact from everyone that I was actually dieting. SO… THIS journey was completely different...AND it is the ONLY one that has actually WORKED! I will never forget how much this forum and the Girls have been there for me… a dieting LIFELINE! LOL! Most days, I still have to pinch myself that I’ve really done it! Hopefully I do a good job at this and don’t screw anything up! LOL!!! Thanks for your confidence in me.
Humbly,

Zas... I will ALWAYS be here! You ladies keep me on track and the plan fresh in my mind so I'm reminded every day to eat right and KEEP the weight off... so no, I'm not going anywhere! When the forum is busy it is difficult for just ONE moderator to keep up plus there is the issue when I'm away for a day or holidays etc. The forum really needs TWO moderators and Butterfly will make a perfect moderator. She has been giving out fantastic support, advice and guidance for some time now and with her huge success and achievment with the plan I am confident that she is the right one for the job.
So don't worry.. I've still got my 'eye' on you!
Butterfly... Thanks again and welcome aboard! Yes, I do remember the tears when you began exactly one year ago.. and look at you now! Don't worry, as far as moderating goes, you can't mess anything up.. just continue what you are already doing. I'm sure everyone will agree when I say you are a huge asset to the forum
Anyway.... it's almost 10am and I haven't had breakfast yet so I need to go eat something! BBL

Good morning!
Butterfly...congratulations on your new job! You are the perfect co-moderator and I know you will help a lot of people!
I am currently doing Chalean Extreme for weights 3x a week and on the other days I do cardio but taken from different programs...yesterday's was Combat from Les Mills, tomorrow will be Turbo Fire, Sat either Turbo Fire or something else. So it's 3x weights, 3x cardio a week. Last week I only did 5 days b/c I skipped the whole weekend. I try to do one day on the weekend but it's harder to get up!
I do workout before teh kids wake up but only b/c I have to be done by 7 and get them ready for school. They don't bother me b/c they know better. I workout down in the basement so no, I don't wake anyone up. My two boys have fans in their rooms that muffle out any sound...even a vacuum. My daughter doesn't like it but she wakes up so early, she doesn't need anything to muffle out the sounds. So no problems with waking anyone up in general.
The WF s/f dressing I think had about 40cals per serving. I only bought the creamy bacon one...it's pretty good. The raspberry one is calorie free and that one would be in the refrigerated dressing section. Some dressings are refrig in the salad section and some are on the shelf where the reg. dressings are.
Eva....have fun with dad and enjoy but in moderation! tell us all about it when you have more time!
Zas...where are you this morning??
Lorraine...what's for breakfast?
Ok, off to lift some weights! See you guys later!

Amy, to add to butterfly's suggestions....coffee does usually help me too or hot tea. And unsweetened Almond milk is so good b/c a 1/4 cup is only 10cals so I love that too in my coffee.
In extreme situations and if I'm out somewhere, I drink a diet coke...I do not ever recommend drinking soda and I rarely do so myself but it really helps with hunger too....in EXTREME cases! But really...eat more so you're not starving. I am usually not hungry..my hungry times are between breakfast and lunch but that's b/c I try to stretch it out longer than 2.5hrs. Keeping busy is also helpful!

I am currently doing Chalean Extreme for weights 3x a week... Googled that...looks like cardio/weights mix?? No? Thanks too for the salad dressing info. I have never seen it in the refrig. section. IF the other ones were 45 cal. per serving, I'll just keep getting the Bolthouse Farms Yogurt Ranch. Same...45 cal. per serving and the WHOLE family loves it. It doesn't have sugar, either....so...win-win. Doesn't taste at ALL like light or diet ranch (YUK!) LOL! I also really like my Thousand Island recipe. I use Miracle Whip Light, Heinz Low-Sugar ketchup, Sugar-free pickle relish, dried onion flakes, a sprinkle of salt..... then I add the Walden Farms' zero Thousand Island "to-taste" and a little water for a runnier consistency. It ends up being like 9 calories per T. It's super good on salad with turkey bacon, sweet onions, and boiled eggs...mmm! LOL! Can 'ya tell I haven't had breakfast yet? LOL! Well.... I'm off to have my coffee and oatmeal w/walnuts, hickory nuts, and chopped apple.....ooooh..... and some cinnamon! TTYL!

Butterfly...yes Chalean Extreme is a weight/cardio program...I did the full program twice. I really like the weight part of it and like her other cardio programs such as Turbo Fire. So I follow a 'lean for life' schedule from CE that incorporates all the weight workouts so I'm not doing the same thing week after week....it's more fun this way.
bolthouse yogurt dressing is really good....I personally like good seasonings packets so I make that for myself and my daughter. My one son likes garlic caesar from Aldi, others like Paul newman honey mustard....so I have a few on hand. My kids love salads and I am going to make it a full meal once a week...easy and good for them. they like beef strips in there too...protein!
I have a really good dressing recipe I'll send you....everyone that has tried it, licked their plates clean.
Ok...off for a coffee date with a friend I go!
