| Thanks Dennymas, it is frustrating. I researched this plan quite a bit before I decided to try it. Weight loss usually isn't hard for me but the motivation thing is. The 3 days off seemed like a dream come true. Anyone can hack 11 days right? The food during the 11 days is quite ok too. Not sure what I'm not doing right. I drink plenty of water and although I don't excercise at a gym I have 2 kids, 6 horses, 14 cats, 2 dogs, and a big house. Plus I am a full time hair stylist, therefore activity isn't really an issue.

hey all! i'm so glad I found this discussion site, its great to read people's progress and advice :)
I'm on day 10 of my first 11 day cycle and have been really enjoying this diet! its great having so much protein and I love eating nuts! I weigh 53.5kg (118lbs) and I wanna get down to 50kg (110lbs) coz that's the weight I always used to be and was happy with how I looked then. I've only lost 1kg (2.2lbs) - I was hoping for more but because I don't have a lot to lose I think its coming off pretty slowly. As long as the scale keeps going down I'm happy! I might have to have a few days break over Christmas and start my 3rd cycle in the New Year... can't wait to get to my goal!

Hi Naomi, and welcome. Yes I think you're right, since you don't have that much to lose, it won't show as a dramatic of a loss. But a pound loss is great, congrats.
I'm like you, I love the protein and the nuts. I just couldn't do a low calorie or fat diet. This seems to be a healthy balance.
Glad you're here and hope you come back often.

thanks denise... its great to find support for this diet - especially since you can't ask questions on the website! I sort of fell off the wagon a little bit last night... had 3 mini sandwiches, some cheese and a bit of sausage and today I had a piece of fruit bread with peanut butter. I suppose its not too bad a slip up but I just hate knowing I've stuffed up - I think I'll make these two days 'cheat' days and just have 1 more before starting my next cycle.

Hi everyone,
Well, I'm on day 10 of the first cycle and I've only lost another pound since day 5, (6lbs in total) but I think I'll put it down to a certain other monthly cycle!!!
Anyway, I was worried about veggie day but I got through it no problem, I ended up grilling a tomato for breakfast and melted a little bit of cheese on top - delicious. The rest of the day was salad, and ended with a lovely piece of broccoli again with melted cheese.
I think I've found the diet quite easy as a whole though - Nuts, cheese, ham and bacon. Who wouldn't want things like that on their diet.
My next worry now is how I'll cope on my 3 cheat days. I think pizza is definately on the menu, but I'll just have a couple of slices rather than the usual whole one to myself! and I'll steer clear of the fries and garlic bread.
Hope everyone else is doing well.

hey guys! does anyone have any goals by New Years or Christmas? I figure I've got just enough time to do two cycles by New Years and I'd LOVE to be down 3kg by then. I hope I can do it. I'm going to stick to the diet perfectly for the rest of the month and only weigh in at the end of the 11 day cycles. Good luck to all of you! Hope you reach your goals!

I can't say that I have any goals for the holidays except for maybe not gain any weight. To me that is just as good as losing, especially this time of year.
Had my weigh in this morning. Down 1 more pound. Yes, I wish it was more but I'm still satisfied. I'm on the treadmill 5xweek. I'll get in one more cycle before Christmas, than may take time off until the first of the year or just do part of a cycle. Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi Naomi,
By Christmas I'd love to have another 7lbs off, I've lost 8 1/2 on my first 11 days and I'm on my cheat days at the moment, and I've refrained from pizza so far.
I understand you maybe don't have as much to lose as some of us, (I've still got at least another 40lbs to lose) but I believe if you stick with this you'll see results, maybe just a little more slowly than others.
Denise - I wish I was as motivated to exercise as you, I'll have to try harder come the new year.
I start my new cycle on monday and I'll carry that through to the 23rd, then have Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day as cheats, can't possibly watch my family tuck into turkey and all the trimmings without joining in!!!
All the very best to everyone, and hope you all have a successful Christmas.

Hello all,
I'm new here and have recently purchased the e-book. I'm going to start as of January 1st. I'm graduating this year and i'm really tired of being the "fat kid" in my class and being treated like dirt.... I really hope this works for me, I'm starting to run out of hope...
If any one has tips on the program feel free to tell me haha.
I'll be posting weight and measurements when i start.
nice to meet you all!

Hello everyone,
It's so nice to finally join your forum, I have read alot of your posts and everyone seems really great and encouraging. I have just finished my second phase of weight loss 4 idiots. The first 11 days I lost exactly 9 pounds (4.5 kgs) but I put on a bit of this on the 3 days off. I lost it again though after about 5 days on the second phase. Second time around I only lost about 1kg but I think this is down to the fact that I had a few too many glasses of wine and cheated a bit by not being able to resist bits of food when I went out. I'm still really happy that I have maintained the 5kg weight loss though, despite cheating a bit.
I do really like this diet, i think it works well. I was hoping you could give me some tips of how to stay on track for phase 3 as I really want to lose another 5kgs. I think it is a difficult time of year to do this.
Has anyone got some tips to help me stick to my plan - I have so many afterwork functions in the next two weeks, I feel the odds are a bit stacked against me!
Thanks so much,
Jacko

Welcome Dark Lavi and Jacko, glad you are here. Congrats Jacko for a great start. Dark Lavi, I will be waiting for you to join us officially on the first of the year.
I also read all of the posts before I joined and all of the tips were very helpful. As far as staying on this (or any) plan during the holidays, it can be tricky. It is so easy to slip back to the old ways of eating. My plan is to eat the same types of breakfast and lunch as the plan and then if I am in a situation where I am surrounded by tempting foods at dinner time I can indulge a bit and not feel too guilty. It's all in moderation. But also be realistic that it is the holidays and don't feel so bad if you can't stay on the plan in full force. Set a date to get back on the plan after the holidays and stick to it. Just my two cents worth.

Hi Denise, Hi everyone.
Sorry I haven´t been around. I´ve been away for a while one, due to a short holiday and because I´m i´ll (again). I´m afraid I just haven´t been doing any type of diet nor exercise ( which I´m usually very good at doing)
i will catch up with the posts later but just wanted to say a quick hello.
Well done to all you "loosers" and welcome to the new members.

Welcome Dark Lavi and Jacko.
I hope you both find this diet the right one for you. I know it is for me. I'm now on day 4 of my second cycle and I've lost 11 lbs in total, I wanted a full stone off by Christmas, so I think I can get another 3lbs by then.
I still have another 40lbs to go. I've always been overweight, but it's gotten a bit out of hand over this last couple of years, and I can't afford to buy any new clothes, so I'll have to try and shrink back into my old ones.
I think this is one of the cheapest diets I've been on, there are no special foods and it's so handy having a menu all laid out.
I haven't been drinking enough water, but I guess the fruit and veggie days are detoxing my body plenty - will have to try harder in the new year.
All the best to everyone who's trying to lose weight at this particular time of year - there are soooo many temptations out there.

Hi Chati,
I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I hope by now you are doing better, sure miss your posts.
Dark_Lavi,
By starting in January, you are making very realistic goals for your weight loss instead of looking for the "quick fix". I believe you will do well! We are all here for you.

| Hi. All I can say is that I've lost 10.5lbs in 8 days on the FatLoss4Idiots plan. I can see myself shrinking! Fantastic. Never hungry. I'm also slipping whey protien into my non-fat milk instead of bland chicken now and then. I need the whey because I work out everyday, and did notice a drop in energy in the gym without it. Other than that, it's great to see my abs again! Have about 10-15 more lbs to lose. Should have that done by New Year's Day! This is a no-brainer eating plan. I love it. Here's to you all. We can do this!

Hi llalonde,
What a fantastic testimonial! I wish I had done that well in my first cycle. But I know everyone is different and what's important is that we just keep going.
Keep up the good work

Hi Denise! I make a point of making sure that each meals takes me at least 15 minutes to eat. So whether or not that's by chewing slowly or taking a little break, the result is it gives your stomach enough time to signal your brain that you're satisfied, and then you just store the leftovers or toss them. For example, my 3rd meal today was bacon strips and cashews. In the past, I'd have devoured that in 2-3 minutes. And still been hungry. But I made it last 15 minutes. The result? It's 3 hours later and I'm not hungry. I'll eat meal 4 only because you need to to stick with the program. Gotta love it.
It's true that we're all a bit different in how our bodies respond to food. So it may take more than one cycle for you to see the results you want. Stay with it. As soon as your body understands that it has no idea what's coming next, it will react, and burn more calories. And fat.
Hope this helps. And even if it doesn't, keep going!
Cheers,
Larry

I had my first day today, unfortunately i had 3 biscuits (blaming it on TTOM). My last meal was green vegetables and cashews. I had the asparagus blanched with a some low cal balsamic dressing and (cheating for sure) some shaved parmesan on top. THis was to make it bearable as a meal-do you think the parmesan "ruins" my day in terms of results. -The biscuits certainly did. I felt uncomfortable eating the nuts as they are a "fatty" food, I suppose I just have to have faith that it knows what it's talking about!
Tomorrow is fruit day so hopefully it's alright. I need to get serious and not cheat again.
Basically, how harmful was my cheating? Should I redo day 1 again tomorrow? Or just carry on.

Hi thinkskinny, I tend to look on everyday as a brand new day, so just start day 2 and forget about what happened on day 1. when it's TTOM just make sure and drink plenty of water and dont' worry, it's an awful curse that all us women have to deal with, and sometimes the only thing that helps is biccys.
Larry, I think your advice is super, definately when you take longer over your meals you feel better later, and when you eat slower you feel like you've eaten more than you really had.
Sometimes I feel that 1 slice of turkey and 2 slices of bacon doesn't look very much on a plate (even if I've used the smallest plate I have), but chewing slowly helps a lot!!
I'm on day 9 of my second cycle and I've lost another 5lbs since the 8lbs I lost on the first cycle, I only put 1lb on over my cheat days, but Christmas might have a different story to tell - watch this space.

Glenda - "ONE slice of turkey, TWO strips of bacon"??? LOL. Either you have a very small stomach or I think maybe you're starving yourself unecessarily. I eat as many turkey slices as I want and maybe 7 or 8 strips of bacon. That is MUCH easier to stetch out over 15 minutes! And don't worry about fat content (the same applies to thinkskinny and her cashews).
It's not the fat, it's pairing of foods. Cashews would be a terrible choice if you were eating them with, say, 3 slices of pizza. But the body needs fat. Cashews with lean turkey slices or strawberries, etc., provide a certain balance. So eat up! No guilt!
Remember, this is not a starvation diet. Eat as much as you want until you're almost full. Take your time and enjoy!

Thank you fatchops and llalonde for your advice, Like everyone on here I'm always paranoid of doing more harm than good so it's nice to have alittle encouragment to help me keep faith and give it a try. I have to say the nuts I had yesterday were yummy as they've been a 'forbidden' food for a while.
Today I'm on fruit day and can't wait for my sandwich! I got some delicious rock melon and plums so it's really not so bad. I'm managing to get through the 10 glasses of water no problem as the past few weeks I've really been working to boost my water intake.
I have another question! As I have already been dieting in various forms with some success over the last month, should I expect quite a small loss? Or should the calorie shifting alone mean that I see results that are just as good as someone taking it as a first step to dieting?

Hi thinkskinny! Those fruit days aren't my favorite, but oh my that deli sandwich is spectacular! I make sure I load it up with lettuce, tomatoes and onion. I'm not salt-restricted, so I flavor away and don't skimp on the non-fat mayo. Take your time making the sandwich; getting all the elements together. Don't rush. Linger over it, as they say, layering it carefully. I tell myself I'm making a sandwich to be proud of! It's silly, but it's fun.
If you're going for roast beef slices, I highly recommend you hunt for Angus roast beef at the deli counter. This is amazing stuff. It's not a brand name, it just means the beef comes from Angus stock. The best.
About your previous diets. Your body doesn't care how you tried to lose weight before or what you ate or didn't eat two weeks ago. As soon as you tune it into this new way of eating, the benefits should kick in.
My one complaint about the bread (oat-bran) is that it appeared only once in my first 11-day cycle. So even if you refrigerate it, it's gone off or is certainly not as fresh when it comes up again in the second cycle. I wound up tossing my first loaf out, minus the two slices I was allowed. Any ideas?
Cheers

I'm sure glad you're around Larry, you have the best tips and suggestions. I freeze my bread, always have. We don't eat a lot, even before the plan and it's easy to grab a slice or two out of the freezer and it seems to last a long time. You can always double bag it to keep it fresher.
Didn't get a chance to welcome you thinkskinny, sounds like you're off to a great start. Don't worry about the biscuits. Glad to have you here too. This forum is what keeps me going. It's no fun trying to diet on your own.

Hi Larry,
thanks for the encouragement, I can assure you I certainly haven't been starving myself, although I guess there has been a little bit of guilt factor there when I tuck into too many slices of bacon!!!
I know I've been losing the weight quite quickly anyway, but that's because I've got so much to lose, I still have another 43lbs to lose, I've already lost 13. Doctor's orders were to lose weight, but I haven't told him I'm eating nuts, cheese and bacon in order to do that. I'll let him see the results for himself at the end of January.
Well, just a couple more days to get through and then it's loads of turkey and roast potatoes. I haven't had a potato, fries or chips in almost 4 weeks. I'm patting myself on the back at this minute!!
Hi thinkskinny - I think it depends on how much weight you have to lose as to how quickly it will shift. I've yo-yo dieted for years, but fl4i still had an obvious effect immediately for me.

Good morning everyone. Weigh in today--finally made it to the 10 lb mark. It took me three months to do it but I did it. I'm still being faithful on the treadmill and I think that has made a big difference. I used to be a Curves member but had to stop due to health and financial reasons. I know it would help if I could re-join.
I won't be generating a new menu for the holidays but will stay pretty much true to the program with a few holiday meals here and there.
Have a wonderful holiday season everyone.

Happy Christmas and New Year, Denise and everyone,
I´ll be generating a new plan on the 6th to start on the 7th, I´ve been very bad recently and I must say for various reasons I´m just not motivated.
Like Denise I know that the exercise helps so very much but even that I have neglected, buuuttt today I promised myself and hour on the stepper tomorrow morning and from then on as regular as before.
Take care and big hugs
Chati.xx
PS. Denise - very well done. You deserve it you really have persevered.

Congratulations, Denise! Very well done. Keep it going!
I'm into my 2nd cycle now. I skipped the cheat days, as Christmas dinner comes right in the middle of cycle 2. I figure one day off in eleven won't be a big deal.
Noticed talk of treadmills and steppers. I hope no one is knocking themselves out on those things. I used to blast through 45 minutes of torture on my recumbent bike, creating rivers of sweat, and still didn't lose any wieght. There's a reason for that. Overexertion burns carbs and lots of calories, but not much fat. You'll find this info in the Handbook and other sources.
The great news is that only a slight elevation of breathing and heart rate is needed. These days I do 30-45mins of easy peddling, or walking, and THAT bruns stored fat. It's also MUCH easier psychologically knowing before a workout that you won't be nearly killing yourself later, so you're much more apt to actually work out. Your heart doesn't need to be pounded out of your body every day to stay healthy, either. Regular walks or cycling or stepping at an easy pace and good diet makes it as happy as it needs to be. So stop killing yourself if that's what you've been doing.
Good luck to all over the Holidays!

Good to hear from you Chati Don't sweat the past and be so hard on yourself. You needed the down time for a reason. Part of the reason I have persevered is because I have this forum to come to. Even though I don't know anyone here personally, I feel I am being held accountable. And that is something that I need, because it's hard to be held accountable to myself. So by checking in, this place does me a lot of good.
Larry, I agree with you about the fat burning vs. cardio workouts. I learned that in curves, that you don't have to work so hard to burn the fat. I go a pace of 2.5 for 30 minutes. My husband is from the old school that you have to use the incline and sweat for an hour to do any good. Silly Man.

Hi,
I for one don´t "kill myself" on the stepper even if I do it for 45mins - an hour. I sweat more in the summer for the normal reasons. The heat! but normaly take it easy and steady.
Are you all enjoying the festive season? We still have 4 parties to go. 3 of them mine! One of them being my daughters 20th birthday. What a stupid time to have a baby eh!
I¨ve only just got my very small home back to some semblance of order since Christmas and am wondering why I get myself into these things. I´m not really looking forward to it all but it has to be done.
Still - I am looking forward to the New year and getting back on track.
As I won´t be around too much before the 7th I ´ll wish you all a very happy New Year and may it bring us all love peace and happiness.

Hi Soccermom,
WELCOME! About substituting foods; I have only read that here in the forums, not in the plan instructions themselves. I believe what is meant is that you can substitute a protein for a protein, a fruit for a fruit and a vegi for vegi. I know sometimes if I have to look at another Tuna Salad Plate I will scream so I will make a use deli meat instead. Some may do this occasionally and others will stick strictly by the plan. Sometimes you have to go by what's in the cupboards or fridge. If you start substituting too much and don't see any progress, then you'll know it's something you might not be able to do.
Looking forward to hearing more from you and your progress.

Hi soccermom! Welcome to the war. Denise is right. Sub protein for protein if you like. I'm into that phase now where I don't necessarily want to follow the plan to the letter. So rather than abandon it, I've personalized it. I eat more of what I really enjoy. For example, the meal of "regular cheese slices and low fat milk" is nothing to look forward to. So I just don't do it. I sub cottage cheese and deli slices or something else. No difference. Except I enjoy the meal, rather than tolerate it. And the weight continues to come off. It's better in my view to eat what satisfies. Much less risk of giving up. So have fun with it. Consider the plan a guide. As long as you're not subbing in pizza and cheesecake you're going to be fine.
Happy New Year!

I'm starting tomorrow and actually looking forward to it. I generated my plan today and just returned from the supermarket with cashews, bacon, sausages ect. Yum!

Hi Sparkler! Yes, it's a bit strange that we dieters communicate over the holidays. Just dedicated I guess. Welcome to our world! All I know is that this diet has changed my life. 15lbs lost and counting. Reintroducing myself to pants I haven't seen in years. They were lonely, and dusty! Don't you love the sausages and bacon? Does it get any better than that? Have fun, eat well. Keep us up to speed on your progress.
Happy New Year!

| so i've been browsing all over the internet to try and find a diet for me, and i have to say that i'm confused on which will work the best for me...and i dont want to quickly invest in one thats not worth investing in.so..heres my short story...i was a content 110-115 pounds...but over the holidays put on a horrible 15 pounds!(good ol' momma's sounthern cooking..ah!) which i know 125 pounds or so doesnt seem like much, but i have an important photoshoot coming up in one month, and i'm sure my agency wouldnt be too pleased that i'm 15 pounds heavier than before. and plus...this fashion spread is REALLY important to me, so i need to look my best and fast!i've been looking into all sorts of diets,(juice fasting,atkins,etc,etc...)and i'm stuck on which weight loss route to take. so my question is... does this fat loss 4 idiots diet really work? can i lose these 15 pounds in one month even though i'm not highly overweight?or would a juice fast be more effective? and any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!thanks!

Hi Meg,
OK, these are just my thoughts about your dilema and hopefully someone else will jump in also. From what I have read on the forum, those that don't have much to lose or are not dramatically overweight seem to not lose as much or as fast. I am suspecting that with that much of a gain over the holidays, that a lot of it is water weight and not actually fat. I'm not saying that this or any program would be a waste of money to you, but personally I would intake more water, get more exercise and eat mostly a lo-carb diet with lots of fruits and vegis (which I feel WL4I is mostly), you will be back in shape in no time. I'm not too familiar with juice fasts because they are not too practical for those of us that need to lose more than 15 lbs. It could be a nice jump start for you and then get into something more healthy and practical. As I said this is just all my personal opinion and I am far from being a wise diet guru Good luck to you.
Hi Sparkler,
Welcome and I'm glad you've joined us. Looking forward to hearing your progress.\

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the warm welcome. I started this diet on Thursday and I am down 6.5 pounds. I can't believe it. I am waiting for it to taper off. It seems to good to be true. Believe me, I'll take it. I can't tell you how many diets I have tried and failed. I also ordered "Beyond Calories" it was an add on to the fat loss diet. Has anyone on this forum ordered, or used it? It too has a 10 day diet. There are more food choices and some of the combinations seem more like having a meal. I am thinkng about trying it for the next food cycle. Just because 3 days in, and I feel like I am bored already. Oh the stuggles of dieting lol. Good Luck to all with your weight loss.

Lisa! Fantastic news about your weight loss. Word of advice: don't you dare get bored. This is the answer. I've lost 15 pounds! Who cares if it's boring? You're full. You're not hungry. Your body loves it.
Keep it simple. Keep going. ....I wanted to order pizza tonight. Instead, I waited, and the urge passed. I had hard-boiled eggs instead. And cottage cheese. Loved it! You need to learn to love the food.
You need to love you - and do the best you can for you. I promise you, you will be rewarded.
Cheers, hon,
Larry

Hi everyone. I'm on my third day today. Day one was great and today I've just finished a plate of eggs and bacon for breakfast (yum!). I'm also feeling energised enough to go for a walk (a big deal for me) so I plan to put the baby in the pram and take off after this.
I found the fruit only day really hard and was feeling dizzy and a bit queazy by the end of the day so I ended up having some steamed broccolli & carrot at around 6pm. I just couldn't somach another piece of fruit for dinner. Has anyone else felt his way on the fruit day?
All the best and Happy New Year!

Oh yea Sparkler, the fruit day is still the worst for me. Did you eat your sandwich though? It sounds like you did not eat one. I save mine for dinner so it gives me something to look forward to.
You might also find the all vegi day the same. No sandwich on this one though. I have baked squash for breakfast which is quite filling and them make a soup of the accepted vegis for the rest of the day. It's really good on cold days like these.
Look back on your fruit day menu and see if you see a deli sandwich, unless you're doing a vegetarian plan (I've never seen it, so don't know what it is like)

Thanks Larry for keeping me focused!
I knew it was too good to be true. Back up 3lbs today. I am hoping it's water weight. I know I shouldn't weigh my self everyday, but I just feel like I need to. Sparkler, how do you get to eat bacon and eggs in one meal? I got bacon and chicken. Lucky you! Can't wait for my 3 days. I know I will have a slice of Pizza. I will be waiting outside for the place to open up. LOL
Have a great night all.

Hi Lisa! I really want you to stop weighing yourself every day. My day is Saturday and I look forward to it. But weighing every day can be pretty depressing. It's not good for you, so stop it!
I've never seen bacon and eggs together in the diet, either, but why not? It's all protein. I'm assuming those eggs were hard-boiled - NOT fried in bacon fat as I used to do (oh, the memories!). It shouldn't hurt much to try it if you're a bit bored.
Keep drinking plenty of water and your water retention will ease off.
I miss pizza, too. And Nathan's hot dogs. Oh, my. But it's not like we can never have them again. Stay positive, stop the daily weigh-ins and remember this is a long-term goal. Short-term set-backs are to be expected.
Happy New Year!

hi there everyone, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
so glad to see so many new comers - welcome to you all.
and glad to see everyone has been doing so well, I too, got through Christmas without doing too much damamge. I'm 17lbs down now since I started just over 5 weeks ago and love this diet so much, and it gets even better now as people are starting to notice!!
Lisa - I've been trying diets for years and have never had so much success so quickly, so try and stick at this one. the exercise helps too. I haven't been bored once and love planning each days meals. I worried about my fruit and veg days, but can get through them quite easily now. Just take 1 day at a time and stay focused on your goal!!!
Larry, I'm afraid I have to confess that I weigh myself everyday too, I know, I know it's terribly obsessive behaviour, but I've found that it helps motivate me.
Anyway, I'm almost through my 3rd cycle now, but I'm staying away tonight and tomorrow for New Year's so I've all my foods packed into tupperware boxes to take with me. It looks like I'm going on a massive pic-nic!!
Happy New Year to you all

Hi everyone,
I'm glad I'm not the only one that dislikes the fruit day Denise. I didn't get a deli sandwich but i didn't select it on the generator. I'll have to remember that next time!
I have to admit that I was a little creative with my "bacon and eggs". I actually got hard boiled eggs and ham slices. But instead of boiled eggs, I fried them in a non stick pan with some 1 calorie butter flavoured cooking spray and did the same with some ham. The ham needs to be premium double smoked and sliced, not shaved. I then cut it into 3" strips and, with a touch of salt, it tasted exactly like short cut rindless bacon.
I love this forum, you guys really help to keep me focussed.
With thanks,
Sparkler

Hi Sparkler and Happy '08!
Your "bacon" trick sounds interesting. I'll have to try it. I grew up on Canadian bacon -being Canadian myself it's impossible NOT to grow up on it!
I lost another 5lbs this cycle and have some thoughts. The killer days are the fruit days and the greens days. I've decided, why suffer? So I've been adding cottage cheese (with pepper) to almost everything. It helps to have a second thing on your plate to go to. Not so great with fruit but it kicks up the greens. And if you're doing mostly salad on those days, make sure you add red onion and balsamic. Delicious. I use pre-packaged organic mixed greens for convenience sake. Takes the burden off the thought of making a salad from scratch.
My rule of thumb is if something doesn't appeal to you, change it. Last fruit day I had hard-boiled eggs and cottage cheese for breakfast. I need that protein shot anyway. Then I had fruit with Cool Whip for lunch and didn't resent it because of the breakfast I'd had. Dinner (around 6PM) was a huge deli sandwich. Late night meal was frozen yogurt and kiwi. Great day. Not exactly as designed but it made me happy and that's what it's about. The weight continues to come off so I can't see why we have to be so strict. We can have fun with the diet and it still works, so why not?
Hope this helps!

Hello! Happy New Year!
Well as promised i started yesturday. But heres the weird part haha. I weighed about 189 before christmas holidays. When i weighed in to begin this i weighed 183 and i didn't do anything and i was eating horibly. I don't get it but i'm not going to complain haha. 6 pounds gone is six pounds gone ^.~
Anyway i started yesturday. Because of the season I don't have starwberries so i ate grapes instead Is this ok? I hope so. No gyms were open so basicly i shovled alot of snow and played my Wii sports games. I woke up this morning and my entire body hurts haha that how hard i was playing with that thing haha.
Tonight after work i'm going to work out to either Hip Hop Abs or Turbo Jam. And today is fruit day O.O i love fruits but i need somthing more so i think i'm going to put in a little bit of cottage cheese like larry suggested.
I hope i can get some weight off this cycle >< i'm drinking water like crazy haha
anyway thats the update.
