Hi all -

Yesterday was my fruit day.  Reminded me of when I go on fasts!  I was okay for most of it, but the evenings so far (all two of them!) are the toughest for me because I get so hungry.

For 'dinner' I sliced up some apples, mixed them with cinnamin and powdered stevia (that's an herbal sweetner with little or no calories for those that are unfamiliar with this), and baked them in the oven.   Ohhhh .... yummy yummy yummy!

My last meal was a late night snack of frozen grapes.

One of my meals today is scrambled eggs, shrimp and mixed vegetables, so I'm subbing the shrimp for cheese.  So for breakfast I'll be making scrambled eggs with cheese, celery, onions, garlic, tomatoes and maybe some red pepper.

Still haven't given up coffee yet.  I figured I'm making so many changes that I'll indulge for a bit.

I injured my foot back in September and had to really limit my walking around, keep it elevated, etc.  It took at least 3 weeks to heal (of course, I added a few more pounds due to lack of activity).   Once the foot started feeling better, I was so happy to be mobile again, I overdid it by walking too much and dancing.  (Hubby and I are learning ballroom dancing)

I've been dealing with the discomfort of leg cramps now for over a week.  I was so shocked at how fast my leg muscles atrophied.  My husband (who is BEYOND supportive, I married a gem! ) keeps reminding me that's why after surgeries the medical staff is always trying to get the patient up and moving.  Anyway, I was a little concerned with over-doing the walking thing.  The 1st day I did 20 min. of gentle bouncing on my mini-tramp (my feet never left the canvas) and got the worst case of leg cramps!  Much more streneous than walking.   I had such a hard time going to sleep that night because of them.  Yesterday I walked for 45 min. instead and did a little better.

Chati - good for you for finding what works for you and is enjoyable  (your big piece of fish) .  I believe it's extremely important that if we must substitute something that is more enjoyable for us, (swapping protein for protein, etc.) it's going to make a HUGE difference to how well we stick to this program.

I have a Staples 'easy button' that I use often in my life .  "That was easy!"  it says.  I press it BEFORE I do something that my mind thinks might be difficult so that I re-program myself.  I swear, things really do run smoother when I set the intent for them to be such.   A running statement I've recently learned to use is "I choose to make this fun and easy! "

Denise - enjoy your cheat days.   Bask and savor each bite WITHOUT guilt.

It's the weekend, ya'll ... make healthy choices !

Good morning everyone.

Starting Day 5 today.  Still haven't weighed myself, and the tape measure doesn't appear to have budged all that much -- maybe 1/4" on each area.   Having said that, I do feel a lot better.  I *feel* less bloated and feel thinner even if the numbers don't say so on the tape measure.

I've been getting all the water in okay, with some limited walking do to my past injury.  The only thing I really went overboard last Saturday night was with alcohol.  I was celebrating two very happy milestone events in my life that happened this week, and said to #%@&! with the limitation of wine for this one evening.  As Dobie had mentioned in his previous posts -- I enjoyed every bit of it and simply started again the next day.    Yet the next day -- ugh !  I felt terrible.  I think one thing I'm learning not just from myself, but other posts I've read is from this straying from this plan is like instant karma!  I know I won't be going crazy on my cheat days.

How is everyone else doing after the weekend?

It occurs to me that I've been sucked into society's method of rewarding myself or celebrating with food and drink.  I'd really like to develop some new habits.   For instance, last Friday I went to a consignment shop and bought myself an outfit that was just a tad bit tight across the abdomen even though it fit my waist.  I figured I'm NOT waiting until all the weight is lost until buying new clothes (okay - used, but they are new to me and look new).  At a cost of $10 TOTAL for a top and jeans skirt, I figure that's at the very least the cost of two drinks or a pizza.

The very next day, the skirt seemed to fit better already across my midsection, plus I got a TON of compliments from my husband on how sexy I looked.  Hee hee, as well as getting hit on when we went out Saturday night.    I had been wearing rather dumpy loose fitting clothing  for the last few months .  It goes to show that even a bit over weight, if one picks the proper size and the right style, you can feeeeeel sexy and thinner.

Anyway ... I'd love to hear some other recommendations as to how we can celebrate milestones and reward ourselves along the way that don't involve food/drink.

Here's a few more of my own:  Buy a new CD, get a massage or reflexology treatment, get a manicure or pedicure.

What do you guys do to celebrate and reward?

Hi Alyssa,
Congrats on 'feeling' better. I know what you mean, less bloated and clothes feeling looser, even if it doens't show on the scale. I also agree that we tend to reward ourselves with food. Exactly what I did Friday night with my bowl of popcorn. But you know what? I didn't finish it, and even surprised myself. Saturday I made pasta and did eat too much of that, but then Sunday I made a low carb chilli. And today it was easy to get right back on the program. I think they devised the 3 days off to help remind us of how terrible it feels to eat too much.:chewing::chewing:

I guess buying some new clothes would be a good reward. Or dig out those clothes that didn't fit last year, they just might this year

Keep up the good work!

How is everyone else doing?

Hi all,

Sorry I haven´t been on over the weekend nor yesterday ( took the day off). Anyway I´m on day 3 of my cheat days. I cheated like mad on Sunday. Dinner party, too much wine and a very wicked "rich chocolate mouse" Needless to say I´d put on over 2lbs when I weighed in on Monday. I was good yesterday and am being so today and tomorrow back on the next cycle.

Glad to hear your feeling "slimmer" Alyssa. I don´t really get hungry on the plan at all. My worst day was the all veg. Not so much hunger but cravings!.

Lets see how my next cycle goes.

Hi justin, i tried to find somewhere else to get the diet but couldnt. What are you doing at the moment?

They are just such alot of money $60 for the pack off btfftm. just for info, im sure it will be worth it but on a tight schedule with crimbo on its way

I guess for economy, Eat To Live wins - it is £7 from Amazon (or free if you go to your local library, which is what I did)

But you would reccomend eat to live? a good read i take it?

It is.

There are all sorts of materials related to Eat To Live which you could read before you get your hands on the book. For example drfuhrman.com and diseaseproof.com are related websites.

I would say that FL4I (the topic that I'm invading at the moment) is more or less diameterically opposite to Eat To Live.

You seem to be at an unusual crossroad - you want a plan but it doesn't seem which one. Or is there more?

Hows it going all,

I´ve just started day 2 of the second cycle. Haven´t been feeling very enthusiastic, struggling not to eat everything in sight. ( that time of month)

I WILL post here tomorrow saying I stuck to plan. MUST keep my goal in mind.

Hope everyone else is feeling better than me.

Hi Chati

Totally understand where you are coming from on that one-lol

What I found helped was to break the meal choices down even further and eat small bits every 2.5 hours, whilst you feel like - all you want to do is eat-

For example, my breakfast choice today was bacon slices and cashews, then lunch was cottage cheese and ham slices.

I ate the bacon at 8am, the portion fo cashews at 10.30am, the cootage cheese at 1.00 pm, the ham slices I will have at 3.30pm, then go onto my third and fourth meal in the same way if I still feel i need to eat like that, until I go to bed.

Good morning everyone,
Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. Any loses to announce? Any difficulty with the weekend?

I did a few substitutions over the weekend just to keep from going bonkers  Saturday night we substituted a low carb chili (w/ground turkey) for a meal just because it's soup weather. And I have been craving hamburger so much that last night we had that instead of chicken. But that's all the variation we did so I feel good about that. Today is all vegi day, had squash for breakfast and made soup for the rest of the day. Kind of reminded me of the cabbage soup diet but since it's only one day, I can handle it.

I have only bought one bag of candy for Halloween. In the past I would buy about 6 bags, 5 for us and one for the kids (we don't get many).

Have a great week all, stay strong and thin!

Are you feeling better today Chati?

Not really Denise,

In fact I have to say I´m off the rails.

Actually my hubby, who needs to loose more than me has got into " loose weight, be healthy mode" so together we are going back to the Montignac plan which is the only thing he has ever consented to give a go. It is what I was planning on sticking with anyway once I´d gone down to what I wanted. Afraid I haven´t done that either but at least this did give me a bit of a kick start and have learnt a few things I tend to keep with, such as the 4 meals.

I also said at the start that fatloss has a lot in common with the Montiganc anyway.

I´m still going to be comming here to see how you´re all doing if thats ok.

Hi Denise,

Here I am already. How you doing?

Have a look at the Montignac, its one of those plans that are easier to follow " for life" if you know what I mean.

I´ll see how it goes. Its so much easier when you both do the same thing together as you and your hubby do.

We´re off out tonight and tomorrow to celebrate birthdays "together" LOL doubt we´ll be very good. ( sighhh)

Alright, so... I'm on my 8th day.  It is an all vegetables day, and it has killed me.  Bleh.  So, to decide if I should go on or stop, I weighed myself to see how my body was reacting.  Well, so far I've lost 6 or 7 lbs in 8 days, which I think is pretty good... so I've decided to stick with it... even though this day has been horrible food-wise.  I can't wait for my break in-between.  I probably won't take all 3 days, but it will be really good to eat whatever.  Let me know how you guys are doing.

Hey Zach,
Congrats on a job well done. I feel that way about fruit day, it is my least favorite. I usually have to have a little protein by evening because I am so hungry. I started making soup on my vegi day including the pinto beans and felt very satisfied all day. So until summer hits again, that's what I will be doing.

My weigh in today, down another two. It feels like more though as I have been able to get in some clothes that have not seen the light of day for a long time  My hubby didn't lose any this time around but he's ok with that. After this 3 day break we're going to go straight through till turkey day and use that for our break clear through the weekend. He said he could picture us fighting over the turkey legs like wild dogs. :chewing:

Have a great weekend everyone.

Ah, made it through the first 11 days.  Well, actually on my last meal I ate a milkshake, but that's besides the point.  Believe it or not, the advertising was true and I ended up losing 9 lbs over the last 11 days.  The only thing I drink is water (I haven't had soda in years) and I do walk about 45min a day.  So, I'll just  eat whatever tomorrow, then pick things back up with a new menu on Tuesday.

So that's my update.  How's everyone else?

Hi there,

This is not the first time Ive done the diet but I have a baby that's 7 mos old and now Im ready to lose ALL my weight.

My weigh in on the first day was 191 (I am a sm-m build female, height 5'7).  I know that your not supposed to weigh yourself everyday but I do.  I can't not, its what gives me motivation to continue.  My first goal is.

Anyhow I am on my 6th day right now and Im already down 11 lbs!  Holy Excited.  I know that some of was water but 11 lbs of it :pig: I doubt it.  I feel thinner too.  Ill update when Im done my 11 days.

Well done Zach, Hi Davina,

Well here I am again. Feeling fed up. Haven´t done very well on the other plan and decided to give this another go. I was going to wait till next week as this week we have 2 birthday celebrations but never mind, we´ll see how i go. Strange coincidence that just when I have decided to try again I have two mails from this fourm.

So today was day 11.  This morning I got on the scale and it read 177  Holy Happy dance.  I have lost a total of 14 pounds and I feel fantastic. (who wouldn't?)  Im not taking my cheat days because I know I don't have enough will power to get back on it. However I am taking my sister out for dinner next saturday so I will obviously "cheat" then.  I'll update in another week.

Hello everyone. I am Liz. I would like to start out by saying that I really enjoy reading everyones advice. I am in need of help. I have sat here and read past posts for a while. somethings Im confused about and somethings click. Last month I stepped on the scale at the doctors office and it made me cry. (300lbs) After snapping out of my depression I am ready to do something about it. My whole family is big, I have been big my whole life. I am going to classes for the bariatric bypass surgury, which will take over a year to complete. I would rather do it on my own than have surgery. However after 30 years I wonder if I am capable of doing it on my own. (My husband doesnt even know how much I weigh) I am ashamed of myself! I have a beasutiful 14 yr old daughter who competes in ice skating and I am constantly around active and fit (yet sometimes snobby) people. I can do so much better. I would like to be around to see my daughter grow up. I am not looking for pitty, just as much advice as everyone can give.

A friend of mine gave me this diet. From reading the posts I think there are two different versions. The one she got me is apparently the old one. I have been writting down all the recipies that you have been posting in my notebook. You guys are eating things that arent listed in my oked food lists. Which comfuses me. I get the general idea of it though. I am like a 13 yr old in the kitchen. If its not a pre-packaged meal I dont know how to fix it. So all the ways to use my "ingredients" to make a variety of dishes is so helpful! I balked at the lean ground turkey! Yuck! Which Im supposed to have tonight.

My husband and I started the diet this morning. We had a very good omlette. Now its just a matter of finding ways to cook everything to keep it interresting. I have lots of questions, but for now Ill just stick to my introduction. Sorry it was so long. It was hard to write.

Hi there Liz,

I have a new version....I think.  I go to the web site and do the diet generator thing, and it computes what I can have on daily basis. I usually get a list of 2-3 items and IM ANAL  I usually pick one item so if it says

Roast Beef Slices
Turkey Slices
Fresh Apples

Ill usually pick the protein.  Say Turkey slices.  I have a couple of slices of turkey and that's it.  I then down some water and violla.  Breakfast.

I know that some people do the recipie thing and Im not sure how because if it says scrambled eggs how do you add milk if there so milk on the ingredient list.  Ill usually whip an egg and throw it in the microwave and then eat it with some salsa (which is on the allowed condiment list)  I ONLY eat what it says to eat and all the protein comes from deli meat (but I get the roasted stuff, not the preserved junk).

Hi Liz,

Welcome. Well done on making the decision to "go for it" its great that your husband is going along with you too.

I´m the same as Davina. Use the diet generator and to tell the truth I do less cooking than I´ve ever done. I do make my own roast beef, chicken etc.  I make a type of chili with the beans and on the veggie days a nice soup is a good filling meal (or two). I haven´t done great this time around but tomorrow I am starting AGAIN.

One thing I´d say, ( I really hope you don´t mind) is that cooking from fresh is the best way to go. Pre cooked meals are full of fats, sugars etc.

I know a girl who was in the high 200lbs and is now down to 179lbs. Of course she hasn´t done it in a couple of months but I just wanted to say it can be done and you´ll feel so much better and prouder! My friend is such an inspiration and has so much to teach. One thing I know. She has found a lot of help from a book called Becks Diet Soulution. It´s not a diet as such but it helps you with the thinking process of why we over eat and how to make the right changes.

Good luck to you and your hubby!

Liz - You can use butter in the scrambled eggs which make them nice and "creamy"

Hi Everyone,
I haven't been receiving my email's from the forum so didn't know it was moving along nicely. Welcome to Davina and Liz! Nice to see you back Chati!

I didn't get around to reporting our last weigh in on Friday. I stayed the same (at 7 lb loss) and my husband lost another 4 (total 14 lb. loss). We are not taking our break until Thanksgiving and probably through the whole weekend. Then we will be back on it come Monday.

Liz-I have a 12 year old so I understand how you feel. She is not into any sports or competition but I am an older mom at 49. Since she was born, my husband and I have sometimes been mistaken for her grandparents. He is 61. If I wasn't quite so heavy I might not feel so much like her 'grandmother'. Do it for her because you want to be around for a long time to help her with her dreams. And soon you will start loving the taste of fresh foods. After I've had a day of eating #%@&!, I start craving nice fresh salads :chewing:

I won't stay away so long this time,
Denise

Denise, Glad to see you. I´m just sitting here feeling so fed up with myself.  I really want to do this next 11 days well. I want to get where I want to be and to just stop chopping and changing!

For now my goal is to do the next 11 days plan. Exercise ( which i haven´t done all last week but that was cause I really wasn´t well) Hopefully I´ll get to my 60 kilos for the 1st of December. Then I´ll take it from there.

7lbs and 14lbs. Thats great losses. I suppose your hubby has more to loose than you and thats why hes dropping it faster.

xx

Hi Zoosalad,

This is my second atempt actually. The first one ( which only lasted the 11 days ) I lost around 4lbs. I should have stayed with it.

Today is my second day. The fruit day. Not my favourite I can tell you. I so want to stick at this even though yet again we have another family birthday party today and maybe get togethers tomorrow and Sunday!

How did your fruit day go? How are you finding this plan?

Liz - You there? hows it going?

Davina - Hows it going? ( I meant the scrambled egg bit on a recent post to you by the way. LOL)  I have to say that sometimes I choose just the one thing but others I need to eat at least two of the choices. Do you get hungry a lot?

Which is the worst day for all of you? I  found the worst day was the veggie day. Not because I don´t like veg. I love them, but I found I got a lot of cravings.

|Actually the first ll day cycle I was disappointed.  But about 1/2 through cycle 2 the clothes start fitting much much better, the belt began to move down in notches - 2 to be exact and tonight I am nearing the end of the 2 cycle and one more notch on the belt.

Yes, eating off the plan my job finds me away from home and I eat out at least two days a week lunch and dinner.  I have found I can eat lean meats and salads and not cause much harm to my to my progress.  Trying to stay away from the sugars and breads is the main problem.  My main goal when I eat away from home is to eat only until I am full, this may mean leave food on the plate.  Four meals each day is tough to do when you travel.  The amount of water can be a real problem!!!

Stay with the program.  The vegetable day is my worst - I cheat in the morning by have 2 can of V8 juice and I know each can contains 12 grams of sugar!  The lettuce salads are not half bad - I try to get a different dressing on every salad - this helps kill the boredom.  I do cook mixed vegs. at night and at 9 P.M. I eat just carrots as use the dressing as a dip.

Scale tonight is a minus 18 pounds!  More weight than with any other diet so far!  I did not weight myself at the end of the first cycle.

Good luck - I plan on making this diet a live style change for me!

Hello everyone. Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving (Happy Thanksgiving by the way) can the left over Turkey be substited for the lean ground turkey? Its the same thing right??? I read in here somewhere that someone was having bacon when it said ham ... Can you do that? I also saw Instead of egg salad have deviled eggs... since they are made of the same thing. Are these substitutions okay?

I cant figure out how to prepare the lean ground turkey. I cant get them to form into patties or balls. They fall apart every time I try. *sigh* Eating crumbled ground turkey gets really boring by itself after a while.

More recipies would be loved!!!

We are cheating tomorrow for Turkey day (moderatly)... but it will only be for one day. Hopefully that wont be too much of a setback. I didnt think about that when I started the diet!

You´ve done great. I ´m glad to hear about the eating out and varying the plan a little.

I find the fruit day pretty hard but the veg ok but strangely its when I get more cravings. Last Veg day  I made a very nice soup and added pinto beans  but that sounds like something difficult for you to do.

As to making it a life style. I have been thinking about that although it´s very early days but I wonder if it is a healthy way of eating "in the long run"

Anyway, glad to hear about your progress and you sharing your thoughts.

Thanks

Morning all, although I doubt there´ll be anyone around today.

Happy thanksgiving all.

Lizardlain - can´t really help you on that one. I do the "New" plan and just eat what it says. Good job we get to choose things we like.  I grill or bake the meat and fish, steam the veg or have it raw if a salad and eat the rest as it comes. If I have pinto beans I do make a sort of chili with a bit of onion, garlic and spice, and on the veg day I add them to a soup I make with as many of the veg as I can.

As to the ground turkey. I haven´t even seen it here. It would have to be done at home. Do you get the option of eggs at the same time? If so maybe it would be ok to bind it with egg and throw in a little parsley and onion. I really don´t know though.

Hi, my name is Glenda and I have been reading your posts now for quite some time.  I downloaded the 11 day diet and am just on my way to buy my ingredients for next week.  So looking forward to it.

Everyone here seems to be such encouragement for each other and I'm hoping that I will be too.

I have almost 60lbs to lose :pig: and this diet hopefully will be the one for me.  I have tried everything including weight watchers and atkins, but just couldn't stick to them.  With a proper laid out list of foods hopefully i won't be able to stray.

Not starting the diet proper until Monday though, then I can have every other weekend off.

Just a couple of questions though...  does anyone use tinned tuna or does it have to be a fresh tuna steak and can you substitute tuna for salmon?

thanks, Glenda

Hi Glenda and welcome.

I must say that one of the best things I find about this plan is that its a "set menu" . I seem to find it easier to stick to.

I use the tinned tuna in brine and as yet I haven´t substituted any of the foods.

Good luck with this and I look forward to sharing your loss and getting to know you.

Hi chati,

thanks for the welcome.

Well, I'm almost done with day 2 and so far so good, I really enjoyed my sandwich, been looking forward to it since last night (how sad is that).

trying not to go near the scales until at least thursday, just hoping i won't be too disappointed.  Been drinking all the water and following everything very strictly.

How much has everyone else lost on this diet so far?

Hi Glenda,

I lost around 4lbs on the first 11 days. Not a great deal but I don´t really need to loose a great deal either and I think that may have had something to do with it. The main thing is I didn´t put it back on.

I really look forward to my sandwich on day 2 as well! LOL

Good morning everyone, thought I'd check in. Had a good (and filling) Thanksgiving so I'm happy to be back on the plan. I did not weigh myself before starting this next cycle. I really didn't want to see what I had gained over turkey day. Another thing I'm going to different is get on the treadmill for at least 20 minutes a day. I will probably build up to more. It's getting cold here in Wa State and I really don't feel like getting out as much.

My goal is to feel/look better by Christmas. My family gets together at my moms for Christmas Eve. I have two brothers who have never had weight issues. I am the lucky one. :dizzy: If I don't feel good about myself at Christmas time it can make or break me. Last year was not good as I had gained a lot of weight in the past year. I only see one of my brothers once a year and his first comment as I come in the door, is either "wow, you've lost weight" or "hi". I know he doesn't mean it as it comes out but it affects me none-the-less. So if he just says "hi" then I feel terrible about myself. I know it is quite shallow for me to feel that way and let someone else affect me but I do. His wife is also very fit, she comes from a family of heavy women, such as cousins. So they are both anti-chub I guess you could say. I get very stressed out around the holidays because of this. So this year I want to hear the "wow". I'm not going to put a pound goal out there, but I will just continue to follow the plan as written and stay on the treadmill.

I love this place, you are all very supportive and I hope the new members can feel that too. Welcome Glenda  To let you know Glenda, I have lost 7 and my husband has lost 14. To be honest we did not lose the 9 pounds in 11 days, but we are happy anyway. Don't get so stuck on the numbers and compare yourself to others. Everyone is different and will have varying results. Just be true to yourself and do your best. We are here to support and help you.

Hi Glenda,

I did weight watchers to and I obsessed about food all the time.  So far this plan has allowed me to shop for my menu, decide what meal I will be eating when and that's it.  I am trying to amuse myself with things other than food which is hard when you have been an overeater.  I think I am doing well.  My day 11 is tomorrow.  I wieghed a few days ago and I had lost 4lbs.  I always think of the wieght compared to butter crocks:chewing:

So I have lost 1  3lb tub and a 1 lb tub:wink:  I am a little anxious about the three days off:shock:  I hope I can be sensible.  Any suggestions out there?

Good luck, write soon

Hi Zoosalad,
What I do on my vegi day is have squash for breakfast, nice and hot with a touch of butter and artificial sweetner. It seems to keep me full until the next meal. And then I make soup with all of the other vegis including the pinto beans for the rest of the day. Kind of reminds me of the cabbage soup but it's much more tolerable for just one day.

Congrats on the 4 pound loss

For my days off I usually stick to about the same in breakfasts and lunches but splurge a little more for dinner like maybe pasta or a baked potatoe. Eat what you've been craving and then you won't feel like you are missing out much when it's time to begin again. You will do fine.

Hi everyone,

thank you for all your the encouragements, and now it's my turn.  I'm now starting day 6 and I hopped on the scales this morning and to my delight, I've lost . . .

. . . 5lbs.  Yup that's right, I had to check a couple of times, but I did it.  I have to admit, when I started this diet I was a little skeptical and was sure I'd be starving by the end of the 1st day, but I've been absolutely fine all week.  I haven't even craved chocolate yet (I'm a real chocoholic).  It's a real incentive to keep going.

Congrats to Zoosalad on your loss (that sounds bad but you know I'm talking about your weight, right?)

And Denise, your advice for veggie day sounds good, I like squash so I'll maybe give that a go for the breakfast.  Seeing it's only for 1 day, I'm sure I'll get through it.

Hope everyone has lots more continued success.

Glenda

Hey Glenda....Congrats!! I'm so happy for you

If you go to tickerfactory.com you can make a cute little weight loss ticker like mine below. It gives you a great visual to your loss. I still  have a week to go before I weigh again but have been using the treadmill faithfully everyday. Yesterday I made it to 27 minutes. Years ago when we first got it, I was only able to do 5, ha.

Looking forward to  hear your final weigh in next week.

Hi everyone

Well I will start again tomorrow.  I have had a hard time deciding what to have on my 3 days off.  Nothing really sounds good:grin:   I am not craving anything which is great. I have had some regular dinners in small portions and I made an apple cake for my family which I had 1 small piece with some cool whip  (apple cake has no frosting)

I am looking forward to having my meals planned ahead of time.  I regenerated the 11 day meal plan and added more foods since you could have 15 in each column.:chewing:

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Thank you for the support and suggestions:grin:

Hi there, I'm on my second 11 day stretch. I am having some problems with the diet. I have followed it absolutely and have not strayed even a little. I lost about 8lbs in the first 11 days and am on the 7th day of the following ll. The problem being I have gained pretty much everything back. I haven't strayed from the plan at all. I seem to swell up quite a bit also. My wieght had pretty much come back after my first 3 days off. I ate normally as was suggested. I want to lose about 40lbs and was hoping this was the answer. :crying:

Hi Bobbie,
Welcome  I know how frustrating things can be when you know you're not cheating at all. The only suggestion I'm going to have is probably the obvious--to drink enough water and exercise.

I just weighed myself this morning too and have not lost any more since before Thanksgiving. I'm halfway through a cycle. It is discouraging but I'm just going to keep on going. What else can I do, right?

So hang in there and don't give up. Someone else might come along with some more sound advice for you.

Denise
