Zeva~ 6 lbs lost....i don't know how you did it during Christmas....I think you are going to be the only FFF to post. If I did, it would be a gain, not a loss. So way to go girl :shooting_star::shooting_star::shooting_star::shooting_star::shooting_star:. Can't wait for monday. I just tossed the last of the cookies...now i just have the box of See's peanut brittle to contend with.:yum:

Zeva! Awesome loss! good for you!

Hey, Believe, glad you're going to join us SV's on the 12th!

I started a cycle this past week with Jane and went off this weekend, but will finish it out this week. Jane, I am definitely going to do another fruit day on Monday!

Annie, I do hope to continue to hear from you. I have always enjoyed your cheerful posts and hope you and hubby have found a plan that works great for you! please keep us posted! Hugs!!!

Princess, how's the BC going for you? That's one thing I noticed about the BC is when I craved a sweet (like frozen yogurt) I couldn't have it! The BC is really more disciplined but it sounds like you are doing well. Keep it up and you'll be so disciplined and ready to begin a DG with us on the 12th!

Peace to all! Have a wonderful day!

Hey everyone!  Well, Amj....I was doing great until I fell into that darn chocolate bar!!  :(  oh well.  I'm just going to keep going and try to have lots of extra water today.  I figure if anything this 10 days will prep me, even if i'm not perfect, to do the DG with you on the 12th like you said!!  And its def. less then i was eating on my own either way, so i'm hoping i'll have SOME loss after the BC is over!!!

hope you are all doing well!!

Kitty and Amj, hi, hi! I only took a couple meals off this cycle for family activities, I don't know if that was it??? I think I should try again for a fruit day tomorrow to jump start Monday, however, if we get company of other plans come up, I will take advantage of the oppertunity! Yeah, it doesn't take much to pursuade me! Amj, stay the course, you can do it! Kitty, I'm ready, let's do this! I will be watching movies tonight with the family, and they have started without me! Have a great night all!

Im obviously a new member....and this seems to be where people are talking the most. I came across this diet quite by accident. I bought it today after hours on the internet last night. Im excited to start on Monday, I have to go buy all my foods tomorrow. It seems to be working for so many people Im optomistic for a change. I need to lose about 20-25 pounds, as I weigh 145/147 and Im 5ft 1 inch tall. Im 34, with 4 kids, so this could prove to be quite challenging. Im worried most about the vegetable day... I absolutely hate green stuff!! Any ideas on what I could make? Thanks in advance!!

Welcome Shadie~I also wasn't crazy about veggies either, but believe it or not, it's one of my favorite days. check out this link :
http://www.caloriesperhour.com/forums/forum3/528-2.html
i will help you with recipes for veggie days and other ideas.
you can make bean chili, grill tomatoes and put some cheese on it, kinda like a pizza, just a few ideas, just check out the link.
Fruit i love...but i am not crazy about fruit day...you may get a headache, and i suggest you eat more fruit than you think you need, because you will get hungry about an hour after you eat. make sure you choose the deli sandwich, the only time you will get it will be on fruit day. i have mine at lunch, most here i think make it their third meal...i will get a headache if i wait till then, but you will be able to figure it out after a few cycles.
Good luck! any questions??? just ask..we are here to help.
i also am 5ft 1. i am 55 years old. i have lost 30 pounds since may, although i have gained a few over the holidays...so i can't wait for monday.

Welcome Shadie! You are a couple years older than me, with a couple more kids....I am a very busy wife and mom and have lost nearly 40 pounds so far since July. My schedual is all over the place and I have made this diet work for me like I never thought possible. The change is amazing! Like Kitty said, fruit day is the hardest for most, especially in winter...summer is a breeze, but veggie day is my favorite, and you can keep it non-green. I do think you may have a change of heart once you start! It becomes addicting! The one thing about fruit day is if you stick to it, you will see an amazing difference just in 2 days! You feel so much lighter and less bloated, definately..."cleaned out". It's so worth it. There will be a handful of us starting Monday, including me, so any questions....just holler! We are all here rooting for eachother, helping eachother out! Keep checking out the recipe section, and you will make it through with no problem! Great job making a choice to be healthier for yourself, and your family! Way to go! Good night all! See ya in the morning!

Hi everyone,  I had a long day and was heading off to bed and I just had a feeling tonight I better check in.  Sure enough, we had someone posting to sell a product.  I deleted the post, so just in case you are wondering where your post went, GARFIELD, this forum is not the place to sell your product.  Please do NOT post again - no links to sell anything - or you will be in danger of being banned from this forum.  Thank you.

Shadie - Welcome!  I am so glad Kitty was able to help you out with some ideas for veggie day.  There are so many great veggies you can eat, even if you do not like greens.  I love the veggie chili, personally.  I was so glad to have the beans allowed on veggie day.  That makes for some nice variety.  Also baking a spaghetti squash, scraping the flesh out, and making "mock spaghetti" with tomatoes, fresh basil, and parmesan cheese is a fun and yummy meal.  You can even make a butternut squash for a dessert in the evening, sprayed with some PAM, and dusted with cinnamon and nutmeg... yum.  I am sure others will share their favs with you, too.

Zeva - Wow, 6 lbs is awesome! :star: You are doing so fantastic and even with holidays!!!!   I am so proud of you being so determined!  You may be the only one this cycle!  Is there anyone else ending close to this weekend?

I am so tired.. it is after midnight and I need to get to bed, but will pop in tomorrow and see how everyone is doing.  I am so glad to be starting a cycle this Monday.  I gained 2 lbs!  I know that is not bad over all this time, but I do not want to gain any more than 2 lbs. (ever again, if possible!), so a new cycle will make me feel much better.  I do have one night this week where we have dinner plans with another couple, and it is an all-you-can-eat buffet.  Not one of my favorite places to go, but it was the other couple's choice.  So I will stick to things that are close to my meal for that day and not overeat.  I feel very bloated for the last couple days, and hardly had any water at all today.  I did have wine, though.   So I took Larry's advise and did a glass of the Psyllium Husk tonight.  I am hoping that it will make a difference in the morning.  I am a little nervous, I must say!  Good night (or should I say good morning?!).  :moon::sun:

Well, I'm back. My DH has to report back to Ft. Eustis and in less than 2 weeks he comes back because him, myself and our kids will be moving to our first permanent duty station which unless his orders change will be to Hawaii.

I've never been to Hawaii before so this is exciting for me though I'm dreading that move.

Over the past 2 weeks I've gained 11 pounds! I weighed 152 at the end of my last cycle and I weigh 163 today. My DH will be gone long enough for me to complete my first cycle for this year. I've reached my New year's goal for '08 of being within normal weight range. My new goal for this year is to get to my ideal weight which is 125.

It sure didn't help that I had a couple of drinks which included beer, wine, and cocktails made with rum, kahlua and amaretto. I rarely drink so I had my fix these holidays. For the most part I'll be laying off any hard stuff and settle for an occasional glass of red wine.

Wow, Omayra... Hawaii?  What a nice change.  It's a lot of work, but how fun to start all over in a new location... and Hawaii of all places!  I wish you the best with your move.

Tomorrow is a big day for many... the start of a great cycle.  I just printed out my menu and I am really looking forward to starting again.  I love all my food choices and it doesn't seem like it is a diet at all to me.  Tuesday (fruit day) will be a bit of a challenge but I think it will get me past these 2 lbs. that have been hanging around for the last couple or so days.  So I will actually welcome fruit day with open arms... well, with a smiling face, anyways!  My breakfast tomorrow will be scrambled eggs and shrimp so I will be cooking shrimp and chopping them up and scrambling them into the eggs.  I may even add some tomato and onion Mexican salsa.  Yum!  The rest of the days meals are all wonderful, too!  I can't wait!

Omayra - Hawaii - wow! I bet you lose most of those 11lbs before your DH is back.

Welcome Shadie - I think you have your answers for veg day, I like lots of people make chilli and with the cheese allowance is lovely.

Veg day for us SVs tomorrow.  Might weigh tomorrow....

Have fun, looking forward to getting to my weight goal in 2009. :ribbon::thumbsup:

Yes, Jane, I also hope that 2009 will be the year when I finally deal successfully with my adult-lifelong weight problem!

Have had a terrible bout of stomach virus the past 2 days - trying to see it as a forced cleaning out of my system for the New Year!:yum:

Hadn't had this in over 20 years - forgot how horribly miserable such a stomach visus can be....

Tomorrow starts a new Cycle for FFFers, but mine will most certainly be adjusted to this stomach bug. Today just had tea, bouillon, coke, 1 banana and a cracker.

Good luck all!:shooting_star::shooting_star::shooting_star::shooting_star::shooting_star::shooting_star::shooting_star:

Hello all:  My wife and I will be starting on  Monday Jan.5th.  We cheated with the holidays so we want a full cycle with no cheating on it.  I guess that makes us
FFF's for this cycle.  Good luck to all.

How exciting to see so many people starting monday...we might even break that 100 pounds goal!:star: Since today is the last cheat day among many this month...I am eating a little of this and a little of that. I made a nice pork roast and sweet potatoes for a late lunch and i hadn't had a pizza:pizza: all month so I popped one in the oven and I might make some popcorn for a snack later. It is technically my last cheat day..so I am cheating. Okay then...don't get too discouraged when you weigh in tomorrow morning, because we all know, in a matter of a few days, we will be on the losing track! The holidays are over and no more distractions!!!

Hello to all!

Babs, I sure hope you are feling better soon! I hope you are able to start your cycle up healthy as can be.

Omayra, Hawaii is amazing.....it smells good wherever you go, just the air, now if you factor in the flowers and food, and the ocean, you really are in paradise. What a blessing you will be together in a permanant place, and what a place it is! That extra weight will disappear, and you will hit the 120's before you know it!

TR, Glad you guys will be joining us for a full cycle...now the holidays are totally done, you can get back on track! You will do great!

Kitty, glad to see you! I really think we can make that 100 mark...wouldn't that be awsome? What a cycle for the record books! Enjoy that last morsel of cheat! I am thinking of having Thai food...one of my favorite comfort foods, but still not sure whether to do it or not. Just a little wont hurt, but then I will have leftovers, and be tempted to eat it....so I guess we'll see!

Web, get some rest my friend! It seems as though we all have jet lag from the last month of activities! Tomorrow will be a good start for all of us. I too can't wait to get rid of those couple of lingering pounds. I just realized this morning I should be getting my visitor anytime, and sure enough......I think the cycle during is a bit less successful than the others, so I wont be too distressed knowing the following cycle will be awsome!

Jane you are always so positive! I love your colorful posts! Keep on, keeping on! You and Amj will be on veggie day tomorrow? I hope it goes well!

Larry, see you tomorrow!

Laurie, I think I saw you post you are on board for tomorrow too! Yay!!!

Shadie, don't forget if you have any questions starting tomorrow we are all here!

Well, time to light a fire, and watch a movie with the family. Go team go!!!! Have a great night!

Kitty - I splurged today and had pizza for dinner, too!!  I only ate two pieces, though as they filled me up.  And earlier today Huevos Rancheros for my first meal (which wasn't until noon today).  I ate the whole plate, which I normally would not do, but since I knew I was going back for one more cycle, I didn't care!  Bad me!  But I have only had those two meals today, nothing else, so maybe it won't be so bad.  Also, I have eaten 7 layer cookies, Aussie cookies and some White Trash, since I made another batch yesterday, as two of my neighbors and one friend begged me for more.  Also, I got a big bottle of my vodka for Christmas from an old friend... little did they know that since I started FL4I I only drink hard alcohol very rarely now.  Of course, with the holidays and eggnog out, I did have brandy & eggnogs (thanks to my BF who kept buying more eggnog to "surprise" me), but other than that, I don't have any desire for the stuff anymore.  I still like my wine, though.  So since I am doing another cycle for 11 days, I decided I might as well break the vodka open and have a drink.  I don't know what kind of rationalization that was, but I did it, and had two vodka cranberries.

I am feeling like quite the glutton these last few days!  Since I ended the diet, I have been doing very well.  I eat only until I am satisfied (except a couple times) and I drink my water, etc. and it has been working for my maintenance plan.  But since I knew I was starting another cycle for good measure, I have really gone off the deep end, mentally, thinking I can just go hog :pig:wild.  This is the 3rd day of this behavior!  I don't know what came over me, but I do NOT recommend this to anyone!!!  I feel terrible now.  Ugggh!  I am so disappointed in myself.  On the other hand, I am also laughing at myself for being such a dope!  It's kind of funny, in a sick way. So, the good news is that tomorrow is day one of a new cycle and all this will be erased by the end of the cycle.. and then some!  Our goal is 57.1 lbs. but I really challenge all of us to go the distance and out do yourselves.  I hope we really surprise ourselves with the cumulative cycle results!

Zeva - I wish we were closer in proximity, as the other night I would have loved to get together with you when you were wanting company.  We could have had fun, while drinking our tea! :coffee:  That sure would be better than eggnog and brandy (weight-wise)!

TRacer - I think this is going to be a really good cycle for all of us.  There are so many who have the same mindset as you... "no cheating".  We did enough of that this last month!

Jane & Babs - Here's to making your goals this year!  You WILL do it, and I can't wait to celebrate with you!  Babs, I am so sorry you were ill.  That is no fun!  I hope you feel much better very soon!

Web~Cubs and I were talking about the same thing...these last few days have been :pig:wild for us too...you'd think we were never gone eat these things again...I don't know why either...but it is a little scary for me, because i keep thinking when i am on maintance...am i gonna do this...haven't i learned anything????? but then i remember that i won't have all this stuff to look at that makes it so tempting. so, i had 3 pieces of pizza and a glass of pepsi....i haven't had pop forever, and it's okay, but not as good as i remember. i'm not sure i'll make the popcorn...i still have see's peanut brittle staring at me:dizzy:.
WE WILL BE FINE, WE WILL BE FINE!!

Thanks for all the welcomes. Im excited about starting tomorrow. I have eggs and apples for one, and shrimp and cheese for another. Boy....those sure dont go together too well but I can do this> Im determined to lose as much as possible in this 11 day cycle. Im not near as worried about veggie day now, thanks to you guys!!  And if Im reading this correctly I can have diet coke?? I usually get one large diet coke from sonic a day and the rest water anyway...so it shouldnt be too hard. I gave up mt. dews about a week ago....killer headaches.... And also can someone tell me what FFF is and sv's? I dont have the lingo down yet. And what am I?? haha That sounded bizarre....

Hi Shadie.  FFFs are the Fat Fu Fighters... the team that is starting tomorrow, and the SVs are the Shrinking Violets, the team that is starting the 12th.  So if you want to, you can be an FFF with those of us starting tomorrow.  At the end of the cycle, we will total our weight loss for those 11 days and post it in the cycle weight loss total thread.  It's fun to be on a team... to encourage one another, complain, and be a bit more acountable than to just yourself.  No one is required to join, it is all optional.  And YES, you can have any drink under 10 calories, so diet sodas are allowed.  I don't know if you have read the recent reports, though, but they have found that diet sodas actually can encourage weight gain, not loss, as your body craves more sweets.  But if that is what helps you to stay on the diet, then do what works for you.  I am excited to see what your first cycle results will be.  If you stick to the diet exactly, I am sure they are going to be very good!

Hi everyone: and a great big welcome to Shadie! I wanted to add my 2 cents on your question about veggie day, Shadie.  I found breakfast to be rather "unusual" on veggie day, so I usually make sure I have either an acorn squash, or a butternut squash on hand, and I peel, cut it up and sprinkle with cinnamon and a little Stevia (sugar substitute) and microwave until tender---then I usually mash it up and eat like its a warm fruit or a bowl of oatmeal.  It satisfies me, but I know that some of the others like to have tomatoe slices under the broiler with cheese on top.  Whatever makes you feel satisified.

I have also been eating as if the world is running out of food and I need to devour my share!!!!!! lol I can't wait until tomorrow to get back in the groove.  I'm a little nervous, however, since I really seem to have stretched my stomach and can eat more at one time than I used to.  I'll have to shrink it up again, and hopefully without too much distress.  The holidays were great and the food, the friends the family (FFF) were terrific, but we can't eat like this all year, or we'll need gastric bypass surgery!!!!!!

Happy Scales tomorrow morning all you FFF's

Okay, I guess I wanna be an FFF then so count me in!! And I have to think that my diet coke is better than 3 or 4 mt dews a day....I would hope so anyway. I guess at some point I could probably cut those out too. I think I first need to do a couple of cycles and get used to eating healthier and see some results to give me encouragement. I am really looking forward to this though, the change in myself and making me feel better.

cubs-so I can add cheese to my veggies on that day? Hmmm..... and I love refried beans but you can only eat so many of those...lol

Cubs - Yes, that is how I feel... my stomach is stretched out.  Normally I eat small portions and I am satisfied, but since I have been "hogging it" I can eat much bigger portions.  Time to stop the madness!

Shadie - Yes, you are allowed 1 oz of cheese or 2 oz of dressing on your veggies.  The cheese is a wonderful addition!  I got really hooked on making the pinto beans, and then doing some mashed up with melted cheese on top, and the rest I made the veggie chili.  I loved the chili so much, a couple of cycles I had 3 of my 4 veggie meals as the beans.  Oh my goodness!  That is a little too many beans for one day, if you ask me.  I was so bloated I was afraid to go near anything sharp, for fear of poofing into outer space, like a balloon!  So, I agree, you can only eat so many (and be comfortable!).  Still, they are nice to have in addition to the veggies.

Hey, where is Agl and Slim and the rest of the gang?  Sunshine?  How are things going?  We are thinking about you all!

So do we like tell our starting weight and progress daily or wait til the end of the cycle and just report loss? Or is there another thread for that since this is general discussion? Sorry to ask so many questions.... Im just excited!!!

I guess what im asking is...is there a list of everybody on fff and what their goal is etc??

Shadie~there is not list of FFF and their goals...people bounce between each group depending on when life throws you  a curve ball...like weddings, birthdays, etc. That's why I ask people to put FFF or SV after their name so we kinda know who's in what group.

We weigh ourselves on monday (you don't have to share that if you don't want to...some do, some don't) and we report our 11 day loss on Friday morning ...you can weigh yourself every day if you want (I do) and I write it on my calendar. It helps motivate me. l think most don't weigh themselves everyday. But hey, i knew all my christmas presents before christmas day...but that's another story.

You should also measure yourself tomorrow too. Because in the future you may actually not lose much weight...but you will lose inches!

Hope this helps answer your questions.

Shadie - You do not have to tell your weight.  Just weigh yourself the morning you start your cycle, then whatever your final weight the morning after you finish the last day of your cycle, and see what your total loss is to report.  I take all the reports from each person and post them in the following thread... http://www.caloriesperhour.com/forums/forum3/7256.html

Please, don't worry about asking questions!  That is why we are here... to help each other.  I am really excited for you, too!  All the cycles losses are exciting, but the first is definitely special.  It gives you the faith to keep going... knowing that this diet works and you will continue to lose if you follow the plan.  That is absolutely exciting!

If you go to the link above you can see who is on the previous cycles of FFFs and SVs.  But since the holidays interrupted the cycles, many of us that were SVs are now starting as FFFs tomorrow.  You can be an FFF each cycle, or you might have something happen (like LIFE!) and are thrown off a cycle and start the next one as an SV... it doesn't matter.  Just the fact that you are on the diet, you are here where we can encourage one another, that is enough.  So ask away!  We are happy to have you on board with the rest of us!

Shadie~ I forgot to mention, i noticed you said some of your items didn't seem to go well together....a couple thoughts...you can generate any number of diets until you find one you think will work the best for you....and if you don't have to eat all the items that are listed in a meal...for example, if one of your meals is cottage cheese, bacon, cashews, just eat the ones you want...i might skip the cottage cheese and have just the bacon and cashews until satified... this time. you see what i mean?

Okay,I think I got it now. Ill just stick to the one ive already got, it isnt to bad. And my final question of the night (I promise Im going to bed) haha How long do you guys space out your meals? Im planning on about 9 then 12:30 then 4 and then 8. But my days are sometimes very long......like from 7am to the next 1am, that worries me as to how to not be hungry for that long of a time. ANd I cant just go to bed....haha, the baby (hes 3) never sleeps more than 4 or 5 hours so....as you can see that is what has caused a lot of this weight. I only gained 17 pounds while pregnant with him and it was gone a week after he was born. His staying awake late causes me to snack from boredom....chew gum maybe?

I'M BACK!!!

Ok, so I'm also 12lbs heavier.  After almost 4 weeks of very rich indulgent gluttony, I'm ready to climb onboard the wagon again.

Had a bit of a crisis around the start of December and I just had to hit the comfort food.  I'm ok now and realised just how much I have missed this diet and more especially all you guys.

Welcome to all the new people, Shadie, Terrier and Princess.  I hope you all have loads of success with this diet, it really is fantastic.

This time, I'm going to try not to weigh every day and will try and get more walking fitted in.  Getting married this year and refuse to look like the marshmallow man!!!

All the very best to everyone starting cycle 1 today and for those of you in the middle of your cycle, keep going, you're nearly there.

Wishing a wonderful and happy and content 2009 to absolutely everyone.

YES! Good luck everybody from the FFFers starting today and the SV's well into the middle of their cycle. May these cycles be blockbusters for us all.

I printed out my meal plan after about a 6 week pause due to my trip to Australia and the Holiday season, and I must say it REALLY appeals to me to go back to this program.

After the great results I've had - losing almost 30 pounds of long term excess weight in 3 months, (with my pause I did not gain anything back, which is wondrous in itself) - I'm now on with confidence and joy to my next 10 kilos to lose in the next 2 months.

Hope all the newcomers settle in as painlessly as possible getting used to the new way of eating. It might looks very strange and daunting now, but it gets to be second nature after a few cycles, and with creativity the meals are definitely tasty and satisfying.

Never hungry on this diet - only in the beginning on the Fruit and Veggie days....and it did take me a couple of cycles to ban all of my cravings.

I just  now had my chicken broth and 2 soft boiled eggs since I am recuperating from stomach virus, so I'm cleaned out for this cycle and looking forward to Fruit day tomorrow.

And one more reminder to really drink that water - it helps so much!

Greetings,

Babs FFF

I started my first cycle for the New Year today. I wanted to start yesterday but I hadn't done any grocery shopping so I decided to start today. I'll eat as much protein as possible and keep my carbs really limited. Even though I chose 15 proteins and 15 carbs, I'll probably try to limit myself to one carb a day to get back on track.....

I never thought I'd miss having bacon and eggs again.

For the past 2 weeks most of my meals consisted of carbs and fried food.

Yay!!! There is so much going on already! That is so exciting! I think we are going to ALL do great this go around...I have a feeling.....and it's not just the cashews in my pocket!

Kitty you are so right, it is so awsome to have someone tell you exactly what to eat! It makes it soooo easy for us, uh..."idiots" LOL!!! My menu is looking pretty good this cycle so...."Game On!"

Hey Larry! I knew you'd be here today. I know things get hard sometimes, and it's difficult to pick yourself up. But, it's something that must be done. Sending a big hug your way...know my thoughts are with you, and I'm also sending some warm California sunshine and smiles to you today! Hang in there:smile:

Teppi and Slim glad you are with us today!

Cubs, I know you said you were eating like there is no tomorrow....just like the rest of us, but get what? It is tomorrow, and we are all here! I think we all felt that way over the weekend especially! Thank goodness we all have this diet!

Babs....how are you feeling today? Better I hope! Keep up with the broth, that will help, plus get in some fluids at the same time.

Glenda, glad to see you back! Those 12 pounds will be gone so fast! What a great way to get your year in gear!

Omayra, I was watching a food network show, and the lady was at a diner, laughing saying that she had all her food groups......Fat, Chocolate, fried veggies, and a coke! So you weren't so far off...although I dont recommend a life long habit of those groups.....wouldn't have much of a life, or very long for that matter!

Ok, now here's the deal....I don't want to hear anymore "White Trash" talk, the Brittle has got to go.....chicken fingers need to hide in the freezer along with that left over pizza....the dark chocolate covered peppermint Jo Jo's need to be put away....Oh wait those are mine! Anyway, this is a cycle for the record books guys! We can do this, and we will do it together. Have a great first day everyone....Jane, Amj, and Princess....you guys rock your way through veggie day!

Have a great day, and we'll check in a bit later!

Hi All...I'm Here...just still recovering from the flu....very painful ribs in my left side when I cough or move...ugh...still no appetite...BUT I am feeling soooo much better and on my way to full strength!! I am really looking forward to being 100 percent again SOON!!
It seems we have a wonderful group to start the New Year...a new year of healthy bodies and weights...controlled cravings...friendship, support, laughs, ideas, compassion and a "boot in the behind" when we need it!  You folks are the BEST!!

January 7 is my one year anniversary on this diet....I have been maintaining for months and have actually lost a few more pounds without really trying...I am a size 4/6 and am very happy with my body.  I want to strengthen and tone up this year and continue to maintain this healthy way of eating....and tweak it to be even healthier!

For all who have lost hope after trying every diet out there....THIS ONE WORKS! and you will end up changing your WAY OF EATING so that it is easy to maintain as well!
Welcome and best wishes to all who are beginning the journey and special wishes :shooting_star::shooting_star::heart::rose:to all who  are continuing on..... headed for the finish line!:ribbon:

Larry - Yay... you are doing a cycle with us?  Cool!

Kitty - I am soooo glad to have the diet spelled out.  With everything that we all have going on in our lives, we need something brainless for a change, right?!  If it were not for the meals being spelled out, I wouldn't have lost all the weight.  That made it soooo easy, and I am definitely thankful for that fact!

Glenda - It's so good to see you, and glad you are with us, too, starting a new cycle!

Sunshine & Babs - Sending healthy thoughts your way.  Get better, my friends! Sunshine, now we will have 2 "distinguished members"... Larry and YOU!

Slim, Zeva, Cubs, Hzleyez, Teppi, Tracer and the rest... we are off to a great start.  I am excited!

Princess & Amjacie - You are on the home stretch!  I can't wait to hear the results Friday!

When I weighed in this morning, this is how I looked ----->  So even though I have dinner plans this Wednesday evening, I am going to do the best I can, and the rest of the cycle will be VERY focused!  I have already had 2 yummy meals today and looking forward to fruit day tomorrow!  I think many of us are going to be happy campers come Wednesday!

z1343eva, this is so funny, as this reminds me of how individual this diet is to each of us! To you and Kitty it is someone telling you exactly what to eat, while my perception is different - I hated diets spelling out the breakfast, lunch and dinner meals, while this diet plan gives me more of a "controlled" sense of freedom as I can initially control what foods are going to be on the list, AND I can keep generating a cycle out until I find one which Hits the Spot! Add to that the fact that I can eat the meals in any order that I want, I experience it as having a lot of freedom and personal choice. Funny how we make it into something that WE like and need!

I had chicken soup, 2 soft boiled eggs, a piece of fish, and 2 bananas for my meals today, not quite enough water today, but lots of weak tea and broth.

Tomorrow I'll get the water back up to par, and have warmed apples and cinnamon, oranges, kiwis and red grapes until my evening meal of a most delicious sandwich!

Good luck all.

Well the day got off to a rocky start, sleeting rain here in Arkansas. But Ive done very well for 2 meals. I think Ive got today licked...haha. So, on fruit day, do you guys/gals do anything special like mix it all up together, make smoothies, or just eat fruit?? Ive been racking my brain today thinking of what I can do all day to make fruit so inviting for tomorrow...any suggestions? It sounds as if everyone is excited about the day and has done well.
