Rain... why do women think they need to roar? I've tried roaring. It hurts. So I've cut back. Much less roaring, now. The other day a woman on my street started to roar. Someone called 911. Very nice men in white coats showed up. They tried to convince my neighbor that she wasn't a lion... but she didn't believe them. Haven't seen her since.
Best,

Truthfully I am feeling a little depressed, my 60 mile cancer walk is this week end and I will not be walking with my sisters because of my #*&* injury to my foot. I am still going to volunteer and I still raised the money which is the important part I guess but I so want to walk. I can't explain it to anyone who has not done it but it is an experience like no other....part " your not heavy, your my brother" and part " I am women, hear me roar. That 's the only way I can explain it. Anyway, I won't be doing it and that has completely bummed me out. Sorry, for the pity party I am apparently giving myself.
Good morning Hiker: I have a suggestion if at all possible for ya'. I know people who have done this because they were determined to be a part of it but had some sort of challenge preventing them from walking. Why not see if someone you know has a wheelchair and have one of your friends push you. I mean, it's just a walk, it's not like they would have to push you while running. Just a thought.

Rain... Ohhhh, that's what that noise was! The hormonal shriek of teenagers. Yes, yes... I rememeber it now. It used to appeal to me, decades ago. Oh, if they only knew what we know now. Right now they believe - with their unfinished brains - that the universe was created especially for them. Alas, experience will disabuse them of that giddy notion. But not any time soon. You have my sympathy. As do they.

Rainbow, nothing quite like like a couple of teen age girls....you have my sympathy. All I can say is be strong, it does get better and some day they discover you are not quite such an idiot, but it will take time. Just know that every mother who has or is raising teen age girls feels your pain.
AGL, that was a good suggestion but I am already commited to working at the water stops but if this ever happens again I will keep that in mind.

Good Morning Everyone,
It's day 4 Cycle 3 for me. I did pretty good yesterday. I did walk a couple of miles. I have not weighed myself yet but do think I will weigh myself midcycle. Can't wait. I think I'll be taking a break today from walking, but I'll be cleaning the house Fun! I think I'll burn some fat there.
Hiker- I'm so sorry you can not walk but you did a good thing by collecting money and you are taking time out of your life to work the water stations. That alone shows a lot of dedication to the cause.
Rainbow- I'm sure you have plenty of drama in your home. I had two sisters growing up and there was never a boring moment. Mom was so glad we all decided to go to college.
Diane- How's our Brit doing today?
Rayna- I'm so glad you are back. You really add so much to this forum and you are so supportive of everyone.
Teense- We are all waiting for the info. you promised all of us on the first date. Now you got to share.
Carribeth- I made the fiesta chicken last night and it was YUMMY. My husband even liked my "diet food".
SusieQ- Your husband sounds like mine. He eats cake, cheese cake or browinies at night and still doesn't gain a pound. He wants to team up with your husband and start a forum called FAT GAIN FOR IDIOTS. FG4I and have cookie parades ( that's what he calls it) every night with milk. Yup, they make me sick too.
Lets all lose inches and pounds today and stay strong!!!

Hi Everyone,
I'll be ending cycle two tomorrow and so far I'm only down my previous cheat days weight. They say you shouldn't weigh every day but I've been doing it for years so I'm kind of used to it. :(
On the bright side I made Hiker's Ratatouille and it was TERRIFIC! I could eat it all day. I also made Jayell's Veggie Chili the previous veggie day and that was great too. Thank you both.
Susie-Q - That's a really big weight loss. Maybe I need Culturelle too? What is Sam-e?
Well, I have to run and figure out what to make for appetizers and dessert for this weekend's birthday party. There will be five of us. Me on cheat days, two diabetics, and two that can't chew anygthing hard. Hmmm, sugar free birthday cake, maybe I won't gain too much this time. :)
If anyone know any good sugar free cake recipes let me know. Too bad they don't make sugar free bithday cake mix.

Teenage girls make me glad that I have two teenage boys!
C-Me- Fat Gain for Idiots, that's good. My hubby's lost weight just by me being on this diet. You know the saying 'if momma ain't happy no one's happy' , at my house it's apparently 'if momma ain't cooking everyone's losing'
Finished my third cycle yesterday and I'm pretty happy with the results. So happy in fact that I had my hair highlighted and cut. A sassy short do... Hubby says he's taking me dress shopping. What I really need is a new bra! I hate bra shopping almost as much a shopping for a swimsuit .
17 pound loss 11.5 inches totoal off bust, under bust, waist, hips, thighs and biceps.
Have a great day everyone! Keep up the good work.

Hi guys and gals! *roars for Larry* How is everyone?
I survived fruit day. I did end up using some V8 strawberry juice stuff in my smoothie, but oh well. It was yummy and kept me quite full. Fruit day, for once, didn't suck! I was hungry by the time the sandwich came around, but I was NOT ravenous like I usually am. Whee!
I'm so glad you guys have all enjoyed the Salsa Chicken recipe! I'm making it on Friday when we're having a Mexican potluck here at work for a coworker's birthday. That's the best I can do without totally blowing it!
I'm getting hungry now and my meals today aren't the greatest. Oatmeal for lunch, whee. With a particularly fun combination this time, too: oatmeal, (delicious) shrimp, and hard boiled eggs. Wow! What a combo!
Welcome to Teense and Airlog! You'll find a great forum here. All incredibly nice and helpful people.
Hiker - I bet there's another walk you could do soon that will make you feel just as good. Know that you're a good soul to work at it and donate. I myself just signed up for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk...which I will donate to and sleep through! I can't even get my butt out of bed to walk! In my defense I did just do the Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides walk two weekends ago. (my nephew has CF)
Hello to everyone. So glad fruit day's over, even if it was easier than normal. Tonight: baked fish packets!

SAM-e is a dietary supplement that supports mood and liver support. If you liver doesn't work properly nothing does. Check out the Best Vite website for detailed info.
I have good results in the mood department, at 44 that ain't always easy . Just ask my two boys!

If i loose 17 pounds like Susie Q, I will be shopping and highlighting my hair too. Watch out Newport here comes C-ME!!
SusieQ- I actually incorporate my diet food with my family's dinner. So my family is eating better. Last night I had the fiesta chicken and combined it with tostadas for the family. It makes me feel like I'm a normal person
Just had my Cashews and low fat milk Yum. I'm actually satisfied.

Hi everyone,
More rain here too, but I did get out and walk--of course, I'd do anything to procrastinate, as I have a deadline to beat!
Hiker, it's great that you're still participating in the walk! I hope your foot cooperates and gets better soon...And I'm there at that pity party--I'll bring wine and tuna salad plates--ha ha!
C-Me, cleaning the house is great exercise! Work that vacuum, girl! And, btw, you will be cutting and highlighting in no time!
CarrieB, YOur fiesta chicken is definitely going to become part of our family's repetoire--yum. And good job getting through fruit day. Isn't the day after the best?!
Wanna, I posted a flourless almond cake recipe in the recipe thread that uses splenda...I don't know if it's any good, but thought it might help with your cake challenge...And good luck on choice days--I'll be with you tomorrow...
Rainbow, what can I say? My sympathies to you...my mom only had one of them (i.e., me), and she barely survived! But she did! And so will you!
Lar, you've already given me a couple of good laughs today; thanks!
Susie, well done! Enjoy that new do--and the clothes shopping!
Also, my husband is one of those non-gaining-weight-night-time-eaters, too!
Hi AGL, RAyna, SS, Willbethin, Alleyne, Dee Dee (you're almost there--yeah!), mayflower, joanne, and all the newbies too!

Some of the dinners I can pass along to my family. Like grilled chicken, or I'll make BLT's for everyone if I have bacon for dinner. Now that it's grill season we grill a lot. Hamburgers, chicken, steak, sausage...
My two boys have lost a considerable amount of weight on their own. They started eating better months before I started this diet. My oldest (18 yo.) has lost 30 pounds and my youngest (16 yo) 15 pounds. They were junk food junkies- Not food from my cupboards, stuff they would buy on their own. They've changed their habits and now eat healthy with an occasional treat. Amazing! And they exercise regularly too.
Reading all the entries from everyone I've noticed something that I do different. If the menu says chicken and cashews, I eat exactly that. I may or may not add a tablespoon of BBQ sauce. I try to spend as little time in the kitchen as possible when I'm preparing meals. Don't get me wrong- I love to cook and bake. Every Sunday I bake a large batch of chocolate chip cookies for my husbands baseball team. I love family gatherings so I can cook for my family! While dieting though I find that if I can limit my time preparing food I eat less.
Don't know if that's why I'm having such success...Because last January I couldn't lose a pound to save my life! No joke. I was seriously eating healthy and exercising like crazy and I gained weight. It was dieters H-e-l-l .

Susie, many here have sworn by the exact following of the diet. Good for you!
Comment: I'm on my last day of the cycle, and again, the diet generator has granted me a meal of frozen yogurt (and green vegetables), which, by the way, I don't think I'll pick again, b/c it's too dangerous for me to have around. Anyway, I think the diet generator is programmed to give it to you on the last day, b/c of the assumption that you're not going to overdo it on the day before you weigh. Thoughts?
By the way, I'm not misbehaving--I finished my project. Next stop the Fedex box!

Losingwt - I love the last day frozen yogurt! I look forward to that all week. I live near Costco and they have non-fat frozen yogurt in their food court. I skip on over and enjoy it like it's my last meal . I forgo the green beans, not interested in trying that combo!

Suggestion:
When we drink milk, I know the rules say "Low fat milk." I was wondering if it would be better to drink skim milk, or is there a reason for the little bit of fat. I have been drinking this skim milk called Slim Plus Milk. It is totally fat free but some how or another it tastes like 2% or whole milk- DELICIOUS! It also comes in Lactose Free, which I tried, but it's a bit sweet for me.
Just a suggestion for anyone.

Hey AGL - I just learned this myself, so a tip for the future - post links to other websites like this, without the http://

Board rules!
And thanks for the tip! I usually drink 1% or skim if I have it.

I agree with a lot of you - I generally incorporate what I'm eating with what I serve my family. If it's eggs for me, it's breakfast for the rest too. My daughter loves it when it's fruit day and we just have sandwiches for dinner.
On the nights that my menus are just not fun I let them pick what they want to eat. Last night they all had hot dogs and corn on the cob. I'm not a huge corn on the cob eater, so it was like a treat for them that I didn't have to covet!
That's the other way I get through weird menu days...I make my family a lot of things that I don't particularly like or am craving.
As far as switching out foods, I try to only do that with nuts and eggs. To me, there is NO difference between a hard-boiled egg and a scrambled one, so I'll interchange them. Same with cashews, etc. I take what I have on hand. If I don't have cashews I'll take peanuts. Sometimes I've done it with lunch meat, but only switching out turkey for chicken and vice-versa. Not the red meats.
Just got back from lunch. Had 3 scrambled eggs and now I'm having some oatmeal. Might sound like a lot, but I was HUNGRY today!
Wanna - I barely lost *anything* during my 2nd cycle. I think because during the first cycle I was shedding the easiest of all my pounds, but by the 2nd cycle I was losing inches, not so much in pounds. I'm hoping that this time, on my 3rd cycle (I'm on cycle 3, day 3) I start losing pounds again. Either way - today I'm wearing pants that I had to unbutton by the afternoon a few weeks ago. This actually left me wondering if it's some kind of diet-cycle that everyone goes through: 1st cycle, drop the pounds, 2nd cycle, drop more inches than pounds. Anyone?

weight loss/fat loss/inches.......I never measured...big mistake....I lost the first 3 cycles. Then cycle 4 & 5 nope..only 1/2 pound in two cycles. Got really bummed out everyone encouraged me on, I was ready to quit,I stopped weighing for awhile. Cycle 6 came around and I lost another 4 pounds. I am on cycle 7 now. I truly, truly am seeing this now as a fat loss because my clothes keep getting looser. I did increase my exercise from 3 days a week to 4 but that is it. I do not exercise as much as some ..... because of my limitations.
Awhile back you all had me so fired up about the frozen yogurt I chose it the next time on DG and then I pigged out on it. No more frozen yogurt for me
My teenage son is so quiet and soft spoken...amazing the difference between him and the girls .....my husband is not quiet nor soft spoken

On my 11 day menu I end up having flounder 5 or 6 nights, my boys would leave and never come home if I even attempted to feed them that much fish! I may use that to get rid of them once they're through with school.lol
Breakfast and Lunch my boys are on their own. Weekends too. My 18 year old loves to remind me that he is an adult, and adults can make their own meals, right? Both my kids are very good cooks and love to make meals. Thank God! They have friends over and will throw veggies and meat on the grill, circle up the lawn chairs and 'bond' around the grill like real men (minus the beer).
Different story for my hubby at least in the cooking department, he would also leave me if I tried to feed him that much fish. This guy loves his food. He's soooo #%@&! healthy too- blood pressure normal, cholesteral all good, weight good, heart good. Makes me want to cry!
My losses over the three cycles were pretty even. 7 pounds the first, 5 pounds the second and third. Inches are important too, and a slim waist is a health body.
I suspect I will hit a plateau soon, and God knows I hate plateaus...they bite.

Hello everyone,
Sounds like everyone is doing pretty good!
Carriebeth, thanks for the recipes! I am going to try some of the chicken recipes this weekend.
Hiker, I think it is great that you are helping but I have done bike rides and other things before and I know it feels not the same when you have to skip that some years. Hang in there, you will be back!
Dianeb - you have done very well, keep it up! What part of the UK are you in? I travel to Ipswich every year on business. I try my best to do July so I might get sunshine. Last year I was there and I was walking around town one Sunday and it was 85 degrees and people were getting sick from the heat?? That was really strange for me - I thought it was kind of cool that day!
Yesterday was my fruit day too and I don't like it - I am in cycle 2 and I basically didn't gain through my cheat day but I ate everything I wanted. I figured if the trick of the diet to keep my body guessing, I would do just that! After 2 days back on I haven't really lost yet, but I am not giving up.
Today for breakfast I had lowfat milk and turkey on the list. Instead of just having a glass of milk I took several ice cubes, milk and added vanilla (love vanilla!) and a little splenda and blended it up in my magic bullet - it was soooo good. Just wanted to share that idea.
Today I have a lunch with friends and they are frustrated that I always say I can't go due to my diet. Today I was able to have pintos and cheese as a meal so we went to this place called Qdobas and I got their pintos, cheese and salsa. It was very good but I feel like I cheated - since they probably put something in there.
Update on the guy at work I am competing with to 15% of our weight - I am at 2.73% and he is at 0%! He says he is not worried about, I won't stick to it or if I do and he can just lose real quick
Anyway, enjoy the milk recipe. I read every day but I have trouble when I respond remembering everything I wanted to say! so hello to all and WE CAN DO THIS!

Rainbow, I have to agree about the fat loss versus pounds. As I mentioned before, I am in a slump for weight loss, but I tried on a linen dress I bought 2 YEARS AGO, and I actually got it zipped- still a little too tight on the hips, but I'm getting there! I just want the weight loss to catch up with the fat loss!
And as far as as kids'/husband's speaking capabiities, all 3 of my grown sons are motormouths, but my husband (unrelated to them)- I have to say HELLLLLLLL0000, ANYBODY HOMMMMMMMMMMMMME???? ARE YOU IN THERE????? Sometimes, I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall. Imagine sitting in his mom's (she's as quiet as he is) living room with the two of them for a couple of hours- I'm the only one talking!

Losing - Thanks for the recipe. I'll try it this weekend.
Susie - I don't know that I need Sam-e but I might try the Culturelle.
I'm glad to hear others have gotten stuck at Cycle 2. Hopefully the next one will be better.
I also use skim milk rather than one or two percent. I use it in my coffee which I drink a lot of so I'm trying to stay below the 10 calorie limit. I prefer the others but feel like I should keep it below 10 as the rules say.
I have such mixed feelings about those darn cheat days!

agl...I agree about the weight... but stepping on that scale for me all the time just mentally sends me to a crazy place you dont want to be. I think this is working pretty well considering my age, I use to diet so much and had no problem loosing....that is part of the problem too....way too much dieting over the years, age and the big H. I really think I can live with this diet.
You made me laugh with the husband comment . I have to leave the room because mine never stop talking. of course walking into a room with people who never talk would be hard too!
BTW...getting into that dress of yours is a milestone

Lose40, it sounds like you're doing great adapting the meals to your lifestyle. I think that is key, find a way to live with it. Your milk idea sounds great too, I think I will try that one. I use 1% or skim.
AGL, your comments about your husband cracked me up. I can relate...my husband barely speaks...some of my friends wonder if he can and he comes from a family where EVERYONE is like that. Going to visit my inlaws, who are basically very nice people, can be painful...4 people in a room and no one talks but me, talk about pressure .

ok, so you had me at "hello"
I have been reading and am encouraged by the results of the people here. So, on Monday, when I am done traveling this weekend, I will be joining you on the FL4I plan. How many 11 day cycles can we fit in? At least YOU are exercising. I need to get on that bandwagon asap. Love you!

Good evening my weight losing buddies! Like Rainbow, we have had constant rain , with 5 more of more rain! Oh, well, it's good for the plants, and in 9 days I will lying on the beach for 7 wonderful sun-filled days. I am not paying attention to the fact, that the last 4 times I have gone to the beach, there has either been a hurricane, or tropical storm that hit. Tropical storm Barry was last year. Seriously, I go at different times of the summer each year...NOT hurricane season, but it never fails! Here's hoping for sunny beautiful weather!
I just had my banana shake and sooo love it! I can't believe it took me 4 cycles before I ever had it. I always freeze the banana in chunks. (I have several baggies in the freezer filled with banana chunks!)
Now, speaking of cooking for the family, I have a 16 year old son and 5 year old daughter at home. My 18 year old daughter is away at college. I try to incorporate what I am eating into the menu for dinner, but that doesn't always work out. Isn't it funny how their eating habits change, though? Like Suzie's sons, my son is now all about eating healthier, and has lost 20 pounds in the last few months on his own! He isn't snacking like he was. He wants to look good for the girls! But, I have found that my new eating habits are working well for the kids. My 5 year old likes apples, grapes and banana's for her snacks. BTW, Suzie, you are very lucky that your sons will cook for themselves. My son can hardly boil water!
Hiker, I am so sorry you have to miss the walk! I know thats a bummer for you! (((hugs)))
Rainbow, speaking of drama, this is how my brother has always decribed my 18 year old daughter..."She's like Meryl Streep on steroids" and my 5 year old is already miss dramatic! lol
Lose40, I love your milk idea! Yummy! Just might do that myself!
Lar, when I have my 17 year old nephew over, hanging out with my 16 year old son, (most weekends) and when my 18 year old is home for the weekend and my 5 year old wants to play her Hannah Montana cd's very loud to drown out all the volume they are creating, they can't even hear me when I roar! CALGON...TAKE ME AWAY!!!
Travel, I think a lot of people have experienced a slow cycle on their second round. Stick with it, your body is just catching up!
oh, yeah, I wish I had measured when I began this diet! I need to go buy a tape measure!
Have a great night, everyone!
edited to say welcome aboard, Krispie. I agree Carrie, I am thinking about doughnuts!
and btw, Carrie, tried the chicken with salsa today and it was so good! Thanks for the idea!

Great minds think alike, Carrie; I went right to the Krispy Kreme too !
Welcome, Krispy, and best of luck! You're gonna be popular around here with a name like that!
I think I've become a bit of the FL4I Pollyanna, but hang in there, everyone...this diet works. Like Susie was saying earlier, nothing has worked for me--until now. In the discussion about feeding our families, I have to admit that I have, almost every night, whatever protein they're having and the veg or salad. Then, I give them some additional starch. I do this by picking the tuna salad plate on every menu. Then, when it's part of my day, I save it for dinner. The generator seems to give it to me at least once a day. I know this is not strictly following the plan, but I think it's okay to exchange like for like (i.e., lean protein for lean protein or vegetable for vegetable). I don't vary anything on the fruit or veggie days.
I never measured. However, my clothes tell quite a story. It is interesting. Try it as you go along.
I also have a quietish husband! I'm the talker in this house--can't you tell?! My sons can go on, though...
Have a great night, everyone!

CarrieBeth,
I think your probably right about losing one week lbs next week inches. Every diet i have ever been on has been that way for me. If i had a large lost in weight i knew next week would be good on inches. Good luck with your diet! I just started so i haven't weighed yet this was only my 3rd day i hope it works like they say.

Yep, Rainbow, just had my evening java! mmm!
Ok, I officially do not like granny smith apples....TART!!!!! I got about 1/3 of it eaten and just couldn't do it, but I hate to waste, so I skinned the rest of the apple and chopped it into bite-size pieces, sprinkled on some cinnamon and microwaved for 2 minutes. Now THAT was pretty tasty.
What kind of apples do you guys prefer? I like red delicious.

thank you everyone for the warm welcome. I NEED to lose weight, since my daughter is getting married in less than 2 months, and I just bought my dress. And it's a bit snug. :( Teense that just joined, told me about this site. She has started the FL4I yesterday and is getting me onboard on Monday. Since I have to be out of town for a graduation party, I thought it would be useless to start before Monday. Teense is going to be at my daughter's wedding, as we are sisters from different mothers and fathers..go figger that one out! Ages and ages ago, I joined an internet group. One of the girls was from Scotland and her kids called me krisp, like bacon. It became krispy over the years, way before krispy kremes. So, just think of bacon. Which thinking about is my one pet peeve with nature and God and all..why can't we get hot and just have the fat melt off like it does for bacon? I mean, if it were fair and all, that's the way *I* would have planned the whole world. :) Krispy

I have Krispy Creme donuts here in Arizona. They just re-opened one in Mesa and there was a line that lasted all day. People are crazy about those things. Thank God I'm not a big sweet eater So I prefer to think about bacon when I see Krispy's name.
I'm starting to have my Java like Rainbow and Amj. It's a nice thing to do in the evening. I lit my tiki tourches and had some Java. Thanks for the idea.
I did pretty good today. For dinner I had veggies and sliced cheese, so I had brocolli and cheddar. YUM!!
Welcome Krispy and T!
Well Good Night my diet friends!!

Good morning, everyone,
I'll just get right to it; I need to throw myself a pity party:
Weighed in and GAINED 2 pounds!!! I'm really disappointed about it and in myself as well, because I cheated over last weekend, although I hadn't really thought it amounted to much...also maybe nuts had something to do with it. I think I need to do a cycle without them.
Well, choice days are here, and I'm going to have to really concert myself to not drown my sorrows with food...like my breakfast did (healthy amount of carbs ).
Off for a walk and, I hope, an attitude adjustment...

Hang in there! It could be water gain. I've kinda wondered about all the deli meats, bacon, sausage, cottage cheese and nuts (salted) on the plan...too much sodium. Try reducing your sodium intake on your choice days, and drink lots of fluids. If you find that you are peeing alot then it was the sodium...
Nuts are good, better than lean meats in exchange for a protein. Tough to make a real meal out of them though.
Has anyone checked their blood pressure before, during or after a cycle?
Keep the faith!

Good Morning all
Losing...hang in there , could be water. My memory which is questionable at times ....you have just a few pounds to go???? That maybe it also. This go around I left bacon off and did not choose as many nuts also. Of course I am eating more beans which may hurt me, not sure.
Speaking of beans, since I do not choose very much meat on the DG has anyone used black beans? I think someone has asked this before, cant remember. They are supposed to be better for you. Wonder why they are not on the diet..
Hope everyone has a great day, it is cloudy, rainy, and 55...brrrrrr ...where is SUMMER
To those on choice days...enjoy...carefully

Good morning all of y'all!!!
Well, Krispy? Welcome to one big group of idiots!!! I'm not going to go on about the donuts, but I will let y'all know that KK started in none other than MOBILE, ALABAMA! I remember many moons ago when I was much, much younger, after a Mardi Gras Ball, a bunch of us would go sit in the parking lot on Government Street at 2-3:00 in the morning and just wait for the HOT SIGN to come on. They were even good after mass quantities of CC and water!!!
Anyway, enough about KK. I have a question for anyone to help me on.
My husband and I are leaving in the a.m. for Alabama to see my youngest son graduate from high school!! CanNOT believe it! The last one! Anyway,
- should I try to modify this diet for 9 days;
- stick with it; or
- just go off of it for that time period, but watch what I eat?
There's a WHOLE LOT of seafood down there, especially SHRIMP! BIG BOWL OF BOILED SHRIMP.

Losing- I really want to make that cake recipe today but I can't find Cake-Ability anywhere. Anyone know a more common alternative to the 1/2 cup of cake-ability used in the Almond Cake recipe (last recipe) in the recipes section?

Just wanted to thank all of you guys who came to my pity party yesterday...it really did help and there were some great suggestions should this ever happen again...which it won't!.
Losing, I will be the first one at your pity party and I promise to be fatter than you so you will look nice and slim, just stand next to me.
AMjacie, I'm with you granny smith's are terrible. Red delicious are good but try Fuji or if you can find them Amborosia, both are sweet apples and a little softer than red delicious.
Have a great day, and if I don't get back on line this week end...have a good week end. For everyone on there cheat days...enjoy...in moderation of course.

Hey, thanks, everyone...
I walked, which made me feel a little better, and then your posts made me feel a little "more better"!
You're right, Rainbow, I am close to my goal (a little further now, of course ). I was 6 pounds away, now 8.
The thing that concerns me is that I gained 2 pounds while on a diet. What's going to happen when I'm not dieting??? Perhaps FL4I is a lifetime, lifestyle thing...
Rainbow, black beans have been discussed. They're not on the diet, but calorically they should be identical...
Hiker, Have a great time this weekend! I would imagine it's going to be a lot of fun to be part of the support team!
Agl, I would just stick with the diet and modify it as needed...just my 2 cents...
Wanna, sorry, I'm not too familiar with that product...perhaps a google search would help?
Ok, everyone, "Debbie Downer" signing out! Have a great day!

Losing,
Found it! Thanks. I found it posted in several places with the cake-ability omitted.
