I was so prepared, so I thought...

Had to be in a meeting in San Francisco today.  Last night, I got all the meal food together that I could easily take with me.  I was so proud.  This morning (7:00am) I had my 2 boiled eggs and cheese slices on the plane.  I figured the meeting at 10:30am would last an hour, then I could run to the deli a few blocks away from the court and grab some chicken and on the plane ride home (around 3:30pm) I'd be snacking on the peanuts I packed and the chicken I bought...  All down hill from there.  I'd be home in plenty of time for my final 6:30 meal.  All was good...

What happened...  Had the eggs and cheese on the plane and was satisfied.  The 10:30am meeting did not let out until 1:30pm.  By then, I only had time to catch a taxi back to the airport.  By 2:00pm I was starving, had a headache and the peanuts were just making me think .   I decided to check in before I went on the hunt for a chicken salad.  Well, at the gate I was told the plane was delayed 2 hours    Now, I wouldn't be leaving San Fran until 5:30p.   I won't go into what I actually ended up eating.  All I will say is this is how I felt

Since I travel so much for my job, I will definitely need a travel eating back up plan.  Todays menu also included a tuna plate, shrimp and sausage links.  Not exactly the smelly food I wanted to pack in my bag so I planned to stick to the easy to carry nuts, cheese and eggs.

Oh well, going forward with day 5 tomorrow.  Enough about me.  I am so happy to hear that so many others are doing Great!

So, I'm asking, how do you handle travel?  Or when you're taken out of the comforts of your familiar surroundings.  OR, when there's been a party planned at your home??  I found today difficult because it wasn't something I've had to address before.

Congrads to all hanging tough and for those of you having problems, hang in there (like me).

-dee.

Morning,

Well I stuck to it yesterday and last night spent a few hours with my daughter in hospital getting a large splinter removed out of the top of her thigh. She sat on a work bench and the splinter was originally about 2 inches long ....eakkkk somebody at work tried to remove it and it broke inside, there was no way I could get it out so she had to have it lanced open and cut out  so she has a sore butt. bless.

I have just weighed myself no difference to yesterdays readings, it is day 11 cycle 1 for me with 5 1/4lb loss. I am hoping tomorrow some more will be shifted, if not Diane the fed up one will be slightly fed up. I was hoping for the 8 - 9lb loss with it being the first cycle, oh well fingers crossed for tommorow. To be honest I have not craved anything since the start, which is really weird for me. I thought chocolate, potatoes etc would be screaming at me but their not. It could be down to the these headaches though as at the moment they are taking my appetite a bit.

Hope you are all fine, if I can stick to this so can everybody else

Good morning everyone. Today I start on my choice days...I am really going to try and be careful but I also think you need to have these and you need to cheat..a little so my mantra is going to be ....all thinks in moderation.

Spanish, congrats on the loss!

DianeB, glad to see you're hanging in there even though the loss is not what you were hoping for. It will come I am sure, it just may be a little slower than you hoped. I know my weight loss is definitely slower than I hoped but I try and focus on what I have lost, not what I haven't.

DeeLite, a couple of other things I have found handy when I travel besides what you mentioned (hard boiled eggs, cheese sticks) there is a product  Bumble Bee sells called Tuna Medley, it is basically just flavored tuna in a can with a easy open top. I like the Thai flavored on the best but I think there are 3 flavors, you'll need a fork but it's easy to carry and needs no refrigeration. Also I buy ham steaks and cut them into strips and keep them in the freezer, I just throw a few strips in a baggie and they are a pretty good finger food and I think they are okay out of the refrigerator for pretty long periods. Traveling is tough and sticking to this diet while traveling is really tough, I give you credit.

Rayna, I know you're busy--someone has to cook that food for your friend to throw away, but we miss you. Take care.

Hiker

Good Morning All

Dianna...hang in there...not everyone looses the 9 pounds first cycle, I think few have on this forum, you are doing

Deelite...that has to be difficult if you travel a lot. I do not travel much but I have been in situations where I either forgot my food or was away from home longer than expected. Even tho it may not be on the DG for the day....I will find a piece of fruit,   cheese  , anything   that is on the diet somewhere. I just try very hard not to have anything that veers away from the selected foods for the 11 day cycle.

Hiker...bet you are eating that fluff right now   yum....

those on choice days...enjoy

Today is the end of cycle 6 for me, but I am skipping my first two choice days only because I was sick and did not eat much. I will take Mother's day off.

Hope everyone is recovering from their sickness   or stressed week  .

Have an awesome day everyone and Happy Mom's Day

DianeB - hang in there, kid!  I lost 6-7 on the first cycle, and now I'm on day 11, cycle 2, and have *MAYBE* lost 2 pounds.  Maybe.  I'm frustrated, too.  But since it's day 11 I can only think about 3 days of choice eating and then back on the diet on Tuesday, starting over and seeing what happens.  It's not perfect, and no one's body is the same.  I just have to believe that in the first cycle my body was shocked by the diet, and now it's trying to recover, so I'm going to enjoy my cheat days and give it another shock, and then on Tuesday I'll start up and shock it again!

I hope you can give it a few cycles before you call it quits!

Deelite - that sucks!  I'm sorry for your struggles!

Congrats to Spanish!

As for me, it's my last day on Cycle 2 and I'm frustrated, but I didn't gain, so that's *something* right?  Tonight I have to run home and get the kids, then after dinner I'm going to spend the night at my sister's (she lives 45 minutes from me) so we can have a garage sale tomorrow morning.   Then it's back home, hurry up and get the house ready to have my family over for dinner!  I hate rushing like that, and it means I probably won't get much else done all weekend.  *sigh*  But it's choice days so that makes me :grin:happy!!!:grin:

Dianna - your doing great.  I am on day 11 as well and looking forward to not eating anything that will be on my menu next week!  I had lost 5 on Monday and then gained (after veggie day?!?) but today I was down 6.6 - so it seems to go back an forth.

Amjacie - one of my meals today is the orange-pineapple smoothie and frozen yogurt, they will be blended to together.  I can't wait until I make it this evening.

Losingwt - I too am officially over cashews!

I noticed that I struggled these last couple days with wanting to cheat.  It is strange that I can be so close to cheat days and be willing to mess up - I am a mental mess :dizzy:

having grapefruit and oatmeal now, this is one of my favorite meals.

TOM will be here soon for me - I hope I can be as strong as you ladies and make it through

Tomorrow starts my cheat days - very excited!  Everyone have a great Mother's Day weekend!

Diane, You are doing great--a lot of times that 9 to 11 is due to excess water weight, which you may not have had...Remember a healthy rate of weight loss is 2 pounds a week; you've already done better than that...

Rainbow, You deserve a yummy mother's day meal after your last couple of weeks...are the kids going to cook for you?!

Lose40, I can't remember if I already posted this (see what happens after you turn 40:devil:) but you're in the same boat I was last year, except that I did not lose the weight I wanted before my 40th birthday. Instead, here I am a year later, aiming for 41, and I think FL4I is coming thru for me! So, I am rooting for you!

Hiker, how is that fluff; oh, having trouble talking what with your tongue stuck to the roof of your mouth! enjoy it!

Everyone enjoy those choice days and Happy mother's day!

Losing, you know me too well. I actuallyt resisted having the fluffernutter for breakfast...big mistake. All I could think of since 6:30 was having the fluffernutter so....at 9:30 I gave in. Of course I will still have lunch so I would have done better having it for breakfast. Anyway...it was worth it...I got the perfect peanut butter to fluff ratio working!

If you're sick of cashews there's always almonds :yum:.

Hi everyone.

I'm so sorry to learn of all the struggles that are going on.  You must remember that each of us is so different from another and we can't go by what others have lost.  Slow and steady wins the race and if you look back on any diet the numbers are always low, BUT they do not lose the inches.  You will have that going for you and that is truly where it is at, not pounds!!  Who cares how much you weigh, it's ultimately how you look and feel.  You also must realize that we ALL struggle at different points in this diet - it is NOT a miracle diet, simply an excellant plan that does work.  All good things come to those who wait - I honestly believe this, so please hang in there - you/we can do this!!

Just for the record, I have been one of those very slow and steady gals - so I say what I have said from experience and to encourage you to keep pushing through!

Happy Mother's Day to all you lovely moms out there!  And if you have to cheat a little on that day then do so - it's your day so enjoy it to the max!!!!

Good morning all of y'all!!!!

Well, I have completed my 11 days and only 3 pounds gone- however, I am calling it a 10 lb loss because I was on the BC the week before.  I truly feel that most of the weight we lose during the first cycle, or the first week of any diet, is water.  At least that is what I am going to call it.  I must say, I haven't lost 10 pounds in a 3 week period in many many many years.

So, my first meal this morning was a scrumptious bowl of Cheerios w/banana.  I have sooooooooo been looking forward to this.  Cheerios just jump starts my day.  But ya' know what?  Because I have not been eating the carbs on the diet, my stomach feels like I ate a whole box!!!  Too many carbs just aren't good for ya'.  I sure enjoyed them though:chewing:

:question::question::question:Am I the only one that feels a little more fatigued because of the lack of carbs (I suppose)?  I have an elliptical at home that I use when it's raining or if I get home too late to go walking.  I have found since starting this diet, that my legs just don't want to move too quickly on this thing.  I have slowed it down but it's not until I've struggled through the first 10 mins or so that I feel like I can go another 10.

I know that at my young senior age of 55, it is going to take a little more effort to get this weight off, but for the first time in a long time, I feel more confident with it and mainly because of this motivational FL4I Safe Haven.  You people are the best at keeping me focused.  Together, we can all accomplish our weight battles.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU!!!!

Hi Everyone!

I really think a lot of us struggling because of good old TOM.  I havn't really gained on this semi cycle but I havn't lost.  I'm just glad like Carribeth I havn't gained.  Monday comes around and no burrito, no pizza or fries will ever stop me  Girls We are going to look great for summer and that's final.

How's that for soap box speach (but I'm serious, we can do this)

GREAT JOB SPANISH AND RAINBOW!!!

Deelite- Just hop right back on the wagon, we've all been there!

Luau is tomorrow evening and I'll be really busy transforming my backyard into a Hawaiian Paradise so you all won't hear from me for a couple of days.  I have to go pick up my little girls Barbie Doll Cake today so I can have it ready to take to the party held at an amusment park tomorrow morn.  So I'm a busy Mama today.

Have a wonderful day!!!

Hey Everyone!

Congrats to everyone that has lost and for making it to your cheat days!

I am sad to confess that I didnt make it through day 4 :crying:  yesterday afternoon was my sons mothers day tea and he had to serve me....you should have seen his face when I said I only wanted some water.  But, mommy all the other kids get to serve their moms.  So I totally cheated and then we went for dinner at Burger King of all places and then I ate a choc bar and a cookie

I don't know what to do.... Mothers day is on sunday.  Should I follow the diet until sunday and then start up again on Monday?  Or should I just say !@#$% it and start up again on Monday?

And it's snowing here so all I want is soup :chewing:

Mine is the newer version and they are sooooooo jealous.  ......Of course I did have to get one of them to show me how to download books and music to it.

I too could not eat another cashew  ..I am eating pistachios now, supposed to be better for belly fat anyway....hasnt worked yet.....   but they are yummy

Davina, of course you had to have something at your son's tea...jeez. I would say stick to the diet the best you can until Sunday, enjoy your day and go back on Monday. Better to have today and Saturday as on days and just enjoy whatever your son does for you on Sunday. Maybe after lunch, you could get him to go for a walk (or snowshoeing if its still snowing) and then you won't feel down about something he is doing so sweet. Hey we are going to live with this diet for a long time, our sons/and daughters grow up and leave....the diet...still here. So I say if any of us have kids doing something nice for us on Sunday...enjoy it!

Morning everyone!! Little late getting in here this AM..but here nonetheless!!! For everyone who is having problems, hang tuff!! We are not all going to lose 9 lbs. each and every cycle! Dang it all!! But our bodies are adjusting to the weight loss, and that takes time. And even if the scales don't show it, remember the tape measure/how the clothes fit, may! So don't overlook even the minute things. PLUS, I have also heard that you may not think you are losing weight, but you maybe losing fat around your organs, and that is always a 'good' thing!!!

Now, for those who have lost, GOOD job!! :ribbon: For those of you who are on choice days, ENJOY!! :shooting_star: And for those of you who are sick of cashews, I don't think that could every happen with me....in fact I bought a 3 lb. can of them the other day!!! Maybe I was 'cashew deprived' as a kid!!

I wore a pair of jeans yesterday which I hadn't had on for awhile. Still snug in the waist, but baggy in the butt and hips! So dare say that by the time they are too big in the waist, well lets say it won't be a pretty site!! And I did measure today for the first time since I started(I'm on second cycle)and have dropped 9 inches from the 4 places that are the most important to me!!! I'm happy :thumbsup:!! Tomorrow will be weigh in day!! Will report that in the AM!!

Hi to all my FL4I comrades, everyone keep plugging along! We can do this!!

I though maybe all of you would like a little laughter and cheer to bring on this wonderful weekend ahead of us.

TO ALL OF US MOTHERS, MOTHERS TO BE, OUR MOTHERS AND EVERYONE ELSE'S MOTHERS:

On her TV show, Ellen DeGeneres read this submission to a contest from a viewer:

So, we had this great 10 year old cat named Jack who just recently died.Jack was a great cat and the kids would carry him around and sit on him and nothing ever bothered him. He used to hang out and nap all day long on this mat in our bathroom.Well, we have 3 kids and at the time of this story they were 4 years old, 3 years old and 1 year old. The middle one is Eli. Eli really loves chapstick. LOVES IT. He kept asking to use my chapstick and then losing it. So finally one day I showed him where in the bathroom I keep my chapstick and how he could use it whenever he wanted to but he needed to put it right back in the drawer when he was done.  Last year on Mother's Day, we were having the typical rush around and try to get ready for Church with everyone crying and carrying on. My two boys are fighting over the toy in the cereal box. I am trying to nurse my little one at the same time I am putting on my make-up. Everything is a mess and everyone has long forgotten that this is a wonderful day to honorme and the amazing job that is motherhood. We finally have the older one and the baby loaded in the car and I am looking for Eli. I have searched everywhere and I finally round the corner to go into the bathroom. And there was Eli.  He was applying my chapstick very carefully to Jack's  rear end. Eli looked right into my eyes and said "chapped." Now if you have a cat, you know that he is right--their little butts do look pretty chapped. And, frankly, Jack didn't seem to mind. And the only question to really ask at that point was whether it was the FIRST time Eli had done that to the cat's behind or the hundredth. And THAT is my favorite Mother's Day moment ever because it reminds us that no matter how hard we try to civilize these glorious little creatures, there will always be that day when you realize they've been using your chapstick on the cat's butt.

Happy Mother's Day everyone!

THanks, AGL! I needed that!

Rainbow, enjoy that ipod! No "kid cuisine" this year...probably for the best...

Good job on the inches, Pink. It won't be long before you won't like that baggy look any more! I remember at first that the novelty of anything being baggy on me was thrilling, but then it got ridiculous...I love this diet! Good luck weighing in!

Hiker, was that fluffernutter everything you dreamed of? I'll have to live vicariously thru you!

And thanks for the nut tips. I have loaded up on pistachios and almonds. Before I know it, those cashews'll probably be looking good again:tongue:

Going to an Indian restaurant for dinner with my 8 y-old and another 8 y-old and his mom. The boys are "studying" Indian food for a school project (kids are so much more sophisticated these days!). How will I cool off my mouth without that delicious bread and rice? This is going to be challenging, but I can do it...:chewing:

Hi Everyone,

I’m new to the forum and this is day 4 of Cycle 2. I think this is a great support forum. Here’s a little about me and there’s more in the New Member area. I’m 45 years old, 5’1” with a fairly small frame and 133 lbs (when I started Cycle 1) and would like to get to 115. I lost 6-7 pounds after the first cycle and put back 3-4 on the cheat days. Wow!

I have some concerns. It seems that I lost most of my weight in the first half of the cycle. I’m sure mostly water weight. I started to get concerned that maybe I’m going into starvation mode. I’ve never been a calorie counter but I started watching this second cycle with a free Calorie Count site just to see where I stood. I found that I was having a hard time getting to 1200 calories without feeling full when I eat. Fruit day is especially hard. I have to push to eat 2 pieces of fruit at one sitting and it barely gets near 200 calories. Of course I’m hungry in an hour. Even with a 500 calorie roast beef sandwich and wine I can’t get to 1200 calories.  I removed some of the more fatty items from my second cycle like bacon and sausage, and less nut choices. I’m still not sure if I’m eating too little or too much (feeling full). How is everyone else doing it?

I didn’t buy BC but don’t think I would be interested anyway due to the six meals a day. I’m having a hard enough time with 4, I cant imagine trying to eat six!

Wanna - I have thought the same thing myself.  I know I am not getting close to 1200 calories a day.  I typically get hungry about 2.5 hours after eating my last meal but try and wait at least 3.5 hours to eat cause of how my day plays out.  Typically, breakfast at 9, lunch at 12:30, Snack at 4 and dinner at 7.  The last hour is always my tempting time as I am hungry but fighting the urge to "grab" something.

Cycle 1 lost 6 pounds.  Start of cycle 2, I was back up 2 pounds (from cheat :dizzy: days).

Cycle 2 lost 6 pounds.  Start of cycle 3, I was back up 3 pounds (those darn cheat days).

Cycle 3 - NOT WEIGHING at all this time.

All in all, I guess it's good I've lost 8 or so pounds in about a month - that is right on average with "good weight loss".

I will say I FEEL much thinner - especially in my stomach / rib cage area.

Hang in there!  We can do it.

wannatravel... for me the key to fruit day is to make a huge fruit salad the day before.  I can't just sit there and eat four apples, etc.  Too depressing.  So this is my fruit salad:

A ton of red seedless grapes - pre-cored pineapple which I cut into chunks - lots of cut up navel oranges - peeled apples - and a pound of strawberries, chopped.  Let this sit overnight in the fridge overnight so the flavors and juices mingle.

Meal one - I have it with low-fat Cool Whip, cinnamon powder and oat-bran flakes.  Meal two - I add non-fact, sucralose sweetened yogurt and perhaps a few cashews for crunch.  Meal three - deli sandwich with oat bran bread, onion, tomato, lettuce, non-fat miracle whip and mustard and black pepper.  Meal four - fruit salad with Cool Whip and cinammon.

Varying the flavors and textures means you don't get bored.  At least, I don't.  And I don't see the problem with oat bran flakes or some nuts (protein).  Some of us noticed we feel a bit weak during fruit day, but if we add just a bit of protein it goes away.  So I'll have some nuts or even a hard-boiled egg.

Hope this helps.

wannatravel... I forgot to remind you that you can eat as much fruit as you want!  You don't have to walk away when you're "satisfied."  There are no portion restrictions with the fruit.  So you can get nice and full.

Hi All My Friends in FL4I Land:

Just stopped by for a few minutes to wish all your beautiful mothers a happy mothers day. This week has been very hectic at work, lots, and lots of work.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.

As I reported before I started a new cycle, unfortunately could not maintained, boss took workers out to lunch for mother's day today and also have to deal with sunday (Mother's Day).

So I think I will restart a new cycle on Tuesday, because Monday is a holiday in The Bahamas, we call it Whit Monday.

Rainbow:  I was happy to read about your loss.  Keep it up.

Rayna:  Great Story.

Sunshine:  I hope you feel better.

Hello:  C-Me-Shrink, Sarah, Larry, Mayflower, amjacie, Hiker, Katie, alg, Pink, Wannabslim,

And everyone who I forgot.

Larry - It never occurred to me that we could eat until we are fuller on fruit day. That's great. I really haven't been suffering too much because I eat my sandwich around noon for my second meal and it holds me pretty well. Good ideas about ways to prepare the fruit. I love the idea of oat bran flakes but I fear I won't stop until the box is empty. :)

Mav- You and I are on the same schedule for meal times and apparently for weight loss. I do push all my meals later when frozen yogurt is on the menu. Then I have it as a "dessert" meal around 9pm with my husband. I've been through one set of cheat days and felt it was important to eat what I wanted to "reset" my metabolism but now I'm not so sure. I was just thinking that if our metabolism was in starvation mode then the cheat days would really have a weight gain impact.

I can deal with slower weight loss but not until after June 1st when I go on vacation!

wannatravel... oat bran flakes are low fat, low sugar... so look for those and try some with your fruit.  If you sense that you might eat the whole box, feed them to your family, too!

Alleyne... you're in the Bahamas?  Oh, my.  Those of us who have spent our lives in northern climates (and who are just now saying goodbye to snow) have no concept of what that must be like!  To live there year round and not just for our one week vacations!  ...I'm still wearing sweaters.  No one in their right minds opens their pool before May 24th.  And our friend Davina in Lethbridge has been getting clobbered with storms.  I miss Barbados (got married there) but... if you ever have a yearn to travel north during our summer, you have GOT to get to the coast of Maine, USA.  Gorgeous, top to bottom.  But... the temperature of the water will freak you out.  Hint: Dive in and STAY in.  In a few minutes, you're good to go.

Best,

Larry

THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT EVRYBODY XXXX

I am hanging on, looking at it there is no way from what I am eating I can't loose, it's impossible. I wish I was blessed with patience.

I am going to find it really hard to have 3 days off now, it's like I dare not cheat just to gain after all the hard work. I think I will stay off the carbs and have vegs and some meat ...not deli the real stuff  am tempted to have my normal bowl of museli too.

Enjoy that muesli, Diane. That would be a very discliplined "cheat."

Nice to have you pop in,Alleyne. Enjoy your long weekend and your mother's day. What is Whit Monday? I guess I'll have to google it to satisfy my curiousity:grin:

Back from Indian dinner out, I did okay, although I had a spoon of rice and enough small tears of bread to count as a good serving:dizzy:...I guess that's not really okay. I don't know what came over me! My son ordered shrimp vindaloo, which was extremely spicy, and Larry's suggestion of raita was absolutely necessary--and perfect.:yum:

I hope everyone on choice days is doing okay!

Ok Everyone, I think I need to go to fish detox.  If I have one more bite of anything fishy I will die!!!  I'm only on day 5 of cycle 2 and I can't handle the massive amounts of fish anymore.  2 weeks ago I loved fish, now i gag at the thought.

Do you think I can create another menu and pick up on Day 6 of the new menu tomorrow.  I really can't take anymore, I really am getting nauseated by the sight of fish.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Want2be... my guess is you chose fish but didn't add too many other choices.  Next time try to do something different.  But for sure if you're getting nauseated that could defeat you, so generate another plan and pick it up on the day the last one left off.

Hi all

Just popping in, probably will not be on much this weekend. We are going fishing   in the am...( sorry want2b).... which I love to do and Sunday...we have storms coming.

It is 78 here   and I am still in sweats, don't know how you all do it up north....tho I am from the north   just use to the heat and humidity now

alleyne...thanks so much, good to know you are pluggin along..so sorry work has been rough

welcome wanna, lar gives great advice

Diane...just try not to overdue the choice days and you will be okay..It is so hard to believe.... because I have been a starchaholic most of my life and since being on this diet I seldom eat them now. I do not crave them anymore...now chocolate   , that's a different story.

losing...Love Indian food but I love the rice too so my husband usually makes grilled chicken for me with the spices
and no rice    and I stop there. Glad you had fun. The pistachios are yummy, glad you are trying them

Hiker....is your face covered in fluff
I cant buy it, I would eat the whole jar

Want2b....I have certainly generated other menus in the beginning when I did not make enough choices.

sunshine...so hope you are feeling better

rayna, sarah, mavsfan, agl, davina, carrieb,c-me,40,pinkstuff, AMJ and everyone..... hope you are well

Morning everybody,

well beginning of cheat day I have weighed myself so I have done a full 11 days on cycle 1. I am 5 1/2lb lighter. On day 7 I was 6lb lighter, (so from day 7 - 11, 5 complete days I gained 1/2lb instead of a loss) which is why it upset me. BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS I HAVE MEASURED MYSELF AGAIN (bust, waist, bum, arms thighs and calfs) I HAVE LOST 9 1/4 INCHES well chuffed with that!!!!

Still not looking forward to cheat days, silly isn't it. I think I would rather somebody tell me what to eat rather than make choices and have to face the consequences.

hope you are all fine xxxx

Morning all

Not much sleepy time for me..Thanks big H

rayna...glad you are okay

Diane  ...Good Grief girl... 9 1/4 Inches. Wowie Zowie..That is awesome, are your clothes   falling off yet??????? Please do not stress too much over the cheats, here is what I do. I eat the same amount of meals and just add one or two things that I would like to have that are different. Now I may not confuse my body enough this way but I dont think I have ever gained after choice days. I never eat pizza   , icecream   ,   anything like that but eat maybe cereal  , extra banana  , lite piece of toast  , maybe a hamburger   without bread. Just see what works for your body.... but if you are really craving something go for it  ...just Eat until Satisfied

Have a great day

Good morning all. I am on day 2 of my cheat, yesterday did not go that well. Not that I didn't enjoy it but I over did it and I know it. I will try to be more in control today. I did have my fluffernutter, problem is by the end of the day it was 3. Too bad you can't buy them already made, that way I could have bought one and been happy but that jar of fluff (which is now in the trash kept calling me. Oh well, we fall, we get up.

Rainbow, hope you have a great day fishing. Up here we call 78 a little too warm and wear shorts, I bet our friends from Canada ,at least the more northern parts (what do you think Lar) call it a heat wave! Good lord, what do you call comfortable? Funny thing about Tennessee, I have only been there once and it was in February and that particular week it was actually colder than Massachusetts was. I guess it just depends on those High and Lows and which way the wind blows. Anyway for your sake I hope it's 85(?) and sunny for you today. Is that warm enough?

Anyar, glad to hear from you, sorry you are having such a busy time.

Have a good day out there everyone.

I really miss my smileys--I so wish I could buy a safe Smiley program.

Hiker

didn't feel like eating anything this morning, but just now having a mushroom ommelette, made with 2 eggs non fat milk and mushroom, only used fry light spray to stop it sticking, and at 1 cal a spay I think I used 4 sprays. A dash of barbicue sauce, and thats my lunch. I have been and got some lamb shanks to have with roasted veg for later. NO pots, rice pasta or bread. I am avoiding it. I have brought some soleros, which are like frozen yoghurt / sorbet ice lollies (90 cals each) and I am having one of those as my treat. So I am still going to try and be good.

Rainbow have you ever been to to Cuba fishing? Thats where we are going at the end of next month, hubby can't wait.

Happy Saturday everyone!! It's :rain: here this AM..so a droopy day for me :crying:!!

Rainbow, you would  if you lived here in MN! It has been so cold and :rain: with later than average snow this spring that the farmers haven't been able to get the crops in! This is not good!!! And just this AM, I heard that both N. and S. Dakota had snow overnight!! :dizzy: CRAZEE weather!!

And now for the grand announcement...since starting FL4I I have lost 8 lbs. and 9 inches!! This past week, I really saw the scale move :down_arrow: and this was my second cycle. And my first cycle wasn't even a complete 11 days!! Even though it doesn't sound like a lot, I am thrilled!! So starting Mon
