You really might want to think about not eating school lunch. Let me tell you a story about my cafeteria's lunch.... well, last winter I weighed about 120 pounds. I had stopped eating a bagged lunch from home and started eating the cafeteria food. I really didn't do anything differently than before except that I ate the 'healthy' food from the cafeteria. Within a few months I had put on twenty pounds... I jogged all last summer, and the weight is still hanging around. Our entire school district makes a huge fuss about how "good" and "healthy" our food is, but its horrible. I think packing a healthy lunch would help you out a lot.

Good luck... and btw, I like tennis too!

Well I'm bummed out cuz I didn't lose any weight at all. But at least I didn't gain anything. I seem to be plateauing at an inopportune time. I'm going away on vacation this thursday for a week to the caribbean so I'm gonna try and swim as much as possible and be very active...play tennis every day. Try not to have too many sugary drinks. Well wish me luck

Hi ....
the best way to los weight is walking..........If you walk daily and take good food (avoid oily and spicty food) then you will really lose weight. And it'll be good for your health too...!!!!

Thanks for the helpful info dietchef. I usually walk my dog every so often but I will make sure when I get home to do it every day. I am here for 3 more days so I'll have to make sure to take some walks on the beach. And as for foods don't worry because I don't even like spicy foods and I have been mainly avoiding the oily ones. Well I will weigh in on Sunday after 2 weeks because I was in the caribbean this past weekend.

Well only down .5 pounds but better than going up anything so my current weight is 201. I've only lost 3.5 pounds over almost 2 months which sucks so I hope to get back on track. Does anybody have some tips to get over this stupid plateau?

yeah switch up your workout routine. Also are you counting your calories through out the day??? The problem could be your either eating to much or not enough. Knowing how much you should is real important and making note of how you eat. Hang in there you will break through

I hit a plateau one time in my journey and it lasted 2 weeks. I was ripping my hair out trying to figure it out. Then I made sure I changed my cardio everyday. I never did the same thing more 2 times a week. Just remember to make sure you are eating enough for the working out you do. Look at your body like a water wheel the more more water you put on there the faster it spins. So the more working out you do make sure you put enough  in there. Good luck man and keep your spirts up you will break free of it

Well I think this plateau has lasted me about a month or so. No weight loss this week. I'm going to start running during the days that I don't have tennis. Hopefully that will help.

No weight loss this week which is surprising...I guess I just didn't eat well enough which cancelled out the activity...I'll try harder this week.
