| I've already lost 105lbs. on my own through calorie counting and exercise but the lost 40lbs. wont budge. I keep my calories between 1300-1500 and I do a hour to an hour and a half everyday, with strength training 3 days a week. Should I restrict more? I'm 5'4 and 160lbs. My starting weight was 265. I know I can lose weight but I can't tell if I'm still doing enough or if I'm just being impatient.

| I have a similar dilema. I lost about 50 pounds and have 20 more to go...But I'll be darned if nothing is happening! Well I do see changes in my muscle tone since I work out so much. I have been researching this and I think the only thing I can come up with is that I am taking in too many calories still. I have went from 150 in Feb. to 144 now and I work out 3-5 times a week. Who knows! After my vacation I am going to crack down.

I felt the same way, although i had only lost about 20 pounds looking to loose about 10 more. I took a break, for two months, and just mantaned my weight, then when i started trying to loose again, I lost 5 pounds in one great week!
Maybe it was just luck, but I think i tricked my body into thinking i was done loosing weight, and now I'm almost to my goal!
