Hi all!
I've been doing Billy's Tae bo Basic Boot Camp for the past few weeks at least 4 times per week. At that time I reached to a point where I have to completely stop 30 to 40 minutes through the session (of 55 minutes) because I felt too tired. Recently I figured that perhaps the Boot Camp was just too much for me and needed to go down a notch just so I could finish one session. So I reached for Billy's Tae Bo Cardio. Here's where the problem kicks in.
I first watched the whole session just to see how it goes and thought that the moves were more manageable than that of the boot camp. I figured I could finish the session after a couple of days. I'm now on my third day of the cardio workout, but so far I was able to reach only 18 to 22 minutes of the 50minute session. The weird thing is that I stop not because I'm tired. It just feels like I don't have the energy to raise my limbs. I'm not panting and profusely sweating like that in the boot camp. I was able to raise my heart rate but not to the level I get from the boot camp. So I don't understand why I'm suddenly feeling "powerless" even when I'm having fun with the workout.
Any ideas?
Btw, just to give you an even better picture on what's happening, the first day I reached 20 minutes. Second day 15 minutes. Today (third) 22 minutes.

Anemia? Iron deficiency? I know that can make you feel energy-less.
Do you have any other "symptoms", problems with anything, that might suggest it is anything more serious?
When all else fails, I suggest see your doctor. You can get a physical, or have bloodwork taken or something. It can't hurt, better safe than sorry.

Hi, Clarinetgurl!
Well, everything else I seem fine. There is one thing though. I live in a country where rice is a staple. For the past five weeks I changed my diet and have had about an average of one cup of rice per week, preferring to put in more vegetables and meat instead. I do reach for a slice or two of wheat bread when I still feel hungry.
Maybe the sudden change in diet is finally catching up on me?

I actually eat after the workout. More specifically before breakfast. It just may be possible that I'm not eating enough. I drink water about a glass every hour. Moreso whenever I feel hungry during the times when I eating feels out of place.

Im no expert but my personal trainer (who is an expert!) always asks me to eat some carbs about an hour before i work out with him. Not a huge meal, something like a peice of wholegrain bread or a brown rice & tuna salad.
You need carbs for energy before you exersize!
I hope this helps! <3

Maybe you just need more energy before the workout. Try having some protein before the workout and see if it helps. I would make it something light, so it don't slow you down.
There was another post on here about a before workout snack. Maybe look there for suggestions.
I also would cut back on the carbs., that could be slowing you down. I know carbs. do bad things to me. So, I am real careful about how much of them I eat.
