Thanks for the salad tips.  I had a great one at Arby's the other day.  A Martha's Vineyard salad....Greens, grilled chicken, apple chunks, dehydrated cranberries, a little sliced almonds, and a bit of cheese.  I ate it without the dressing.  It was quite good.

Tonight I had a spinach chicken salad....romaine lettuce, baby spinach, grilled chicken, 1 hard-boiled egg, and just a touch of dressing.

All this salad stuff is a big change for me.  I hate vegetables, and finding interesting and tasty ways to eat them really helps.

I LOVE salads, but I used to have a little salad with my dressing:D  Now it's the other way around--part of my "cut 500 calories a day" plan.  It's amazing how much of a calorie hit salad dressing is!  If I cut down on the salad dressing I don't have to be so creative in coming up with other ways to cut calories--same with soda!

I've been hitting the candy dish lately and I'm afraid it will derail my progress of the last 3 weeks.  I finally put the candy dish out of my sight and easy reach and threw some pecan pralines away that I knew I would not be able to resist :pig:

Now I definitely need a diet buddy....OK OK this is REALLY hard for me independent solo traveler type person that I am...I am (GASP) asking for help!  If you can be a diet buddy please PM me and I will send my email.  Or if YOU are looking for a diet buddy please do the same.
