I essentially gave up for a little while. Now that I got sick this week for the first time in years I know I need to get active again. I never got sick when I took better care of myself on a regular basis.
So hopefully I'm back and I feel less stuck. Got back on the scale after a couple months and I'm just slightly down from my last starting weight but nearly 5 lbs higher than my last weigh-in before that if I remember right.

Well, welcome back to it. I am going to try and do the same. I have been trying but always fall back off again. I really need to find a way to stick with it. I am back at the exercise, now I just need to get the diet down.
Let me know how you are doing and how it is going. Maybe we can help each other get back on track.

| It is never easy to get back on the track again. Especially after you been off of the habit for a while. It will take some work getting back into the things you were doing. However, since you did it before, I know you can do it again. I would recommend tracking or journaling the things you are doing, while getting back on track. Anything measured and watched will improve. Hang in there.

You sure said it there. I swear I have been up and down on my weight so many times I can't even count. I just hate the way I have been feeling lately. Like there is nothing I can do about my weight. When I know that is wrong. I think deep down, I just don't want to try and so I am telling myself "I can't". It's funny how your mind can be so powerful. Maybe If I used it in the opposite way it could work for me.
Get up every morning tell myself that I look great and I can lose weight. lol..maybe if I said it enough it would actually start to happen.

As I've been reading through out your replies, is like I'm reading about me. it is so hard (most of the time) to keep up with a good exercise and diet routine, I also have got stuck many times too.
Nevertheless, I'm going to keep reading other post and of course this one. And see if I finally get inspired by people experiences and start working and keep it on!

I know what you mean. Like yesterday, we had a wrestling thing for my son all day long and I was starving bye time we got out. So, I caved in and we stop at hardees on the way home.
But, I am learning to get back into it. I did all my exercise that I wanted to this week. It wasn't always easy fitting it in. But, I did! So, that is a bonus. And to be honest I was good most days this week. I only had two bad days.
I think reading post on here help keep me motivated. Maybe it will help you as well. :)
