ok,
age 39 female
height 5'4
current weight 125lbs
goal weight 120lbs
lowest weight - geeee don't remember- I think after high school I got down to 105 or so.
highest weight - 174lbs or more- quit weighing myself.
I don't know how many calories I take in. I don't count them. I just eat healthy and watch my portion sizes.
I do walk about 20 miles a week- currently looking into other exercise while my foot heals. It take me about an hour and half to do 4 miles. Something like that.
Lets see, I'm an emotional eater. So, try like crazy to keep that in check.
I think thats it......

Height: 6'0"
Current Weight: 271
Goal Weight: 175-200 (depending on muscle mass)
High: 350-400 (not really sure here, but I think I've hit pretty close to 400 before)
Low: 271 (since high school)
I have been a binge eater in the past, but have greatly improved in this area. Calorie intake used to be about 2500-3500 when I was over 300. Now, it is about 1600-2000, and a MUCH healthier diet.
Exercise: 1.5 hours of moderate cardio 5-6 days a week, 6 most weeks. I currently cycle about 11 miles (30 minutes) and walk about 4.5 miles (60 minutes) per day.

CW: 247.5
Weight when started healthy life (11 weeks ago): 281
Highest known weight: 311
Lowest weight (as an adult): I weighed 195 at around age 19
cals: I try to eat about 1200 a day, I usually fall a little under. I look at cals religiously, but there is always at least 1 meal a week where I don't worry about it.
Exercise: I try to walk everyday. This has been my biggest failure on this journey - doing great with food, bad with exercise.
I am an addict. (If you eat 4000 cals a day, every day, that's and addict, not a binge eater. ) At this point I cannot have a small pieces of (fill in the blank) because then I simply cannot stop. I still cannot wrap my head around eating something so wonderfully fattening and having 1 serving when you could have 4.

Goal Weight - 112lb (50.8kg)
Lowest Weight - ~124lb (56.3kg)
I've never had a 'healthy' relationship with food, but I don't know what to describe it as. When I was younger I guess you could call it social anorexia, maybe? I don't know when it started, probably just before I started secondary school, so I was about ten/eleven. I just couldn't eat infront of people, and as a result I was underweight up until I was about fourteen, at which point my social anxiety had eased enough to eat 'normally' - and then some. Now it's a mild case of comfort eating coupled with having no energy [currently diagnosed as having idiopathic hypersomnia, although that's subject to change], my brain still hasn't learnt that eating doesn't fix my fatigue.
Calorie wise I don't count anymore, but when I did and lost the majority of my weight I was averaging about 1300-1400/day. I'd estimate my current intake to be anything from 1400-2200. Last edited on 8 July 2008 11:33 am by morbidlemon

And as far as calories go, I can't eat too much without getting sick. Probably around 250-450/day, but once a week I try to eat over 1,000 cals for a metabolism boost and to stay kinda healthy. Sometimes I can do it if I really try!

Current weight: My highest weight.
Goal weight: 102-105 my scale; 105-110 the doctor's scale.
Past (or current) eating disorders: I was headed toward anorexia last August. I never stopped eating and I never got below a BMI of 18.3, but every one just kept yelling at me about it. Finally I started eating more, but moderation wasn't in my frame of thought so I started bingeing. Now I'm struggling getting out of the bingeing/indulging in cravings phase and try to find a happy medium: where I can enjoy some of the foods I like without bingeing/gaining unwanted weight.

I think its safe to say that I am the fattest one in here, but thats slowly changing.
Starting Weight: 204
Current Weight: 190.2
Goal Weight: 110
Lowest Weight: 170
I try to eat between 800-1200 calories a day.
And if I have a binge it usually 900 calories added onto whatever I've eaten. I try to only purge twice a week. And I exercise about 30-40 minutes a day.

I don't count calories, I do portion control, I try to follow the Food mover since it's the same as the Canadian Food chart, and I'm at the 1400 cal card. So it's +/- 1400 cal a day.

I am slowly trying to recover from a "crash" diet of only letting myself have 500 a day, week by week I'm increasing so my body won't go into shot when I start eating the healthier amount. I even plan out all my meals and snacks for the entire week to keep me in control of binging which led me to understand I definitely need to eat more. (Sundays I eat whatever I want! )

Lower body and cardio another day

You could describe me as a binge exerciser. I'd train for a marathon or half marathon and then after the race was over, I'd revert to nearly zero exercise. With the heavy training, my appetite would increase. But, after I stopped exercising, my appetite would still be high and that's when I would gain weight. In the two years I started doing marathons, I went from 165 lbs to over 200 lbs. Before that, it was a slow 15 year gain from giving up exercise due to pregnancy, family, school and work.

Female, 34 y.o.
Height 5'6"
Current Weight: 135.6, (I recommend everyone have one of those Scales that gives you your fat % water %, BMI, muscle %. It's like $100, but worth it when you see u gained a pound or two but then it shows you that you gained in water and muscle so you feel better and don't freak out and eat a gallon of ice cream in disgust. I record my info weekly so I can track my progress).
Weight when started to eat healthy and stopped binging (9/1/08): 142. (lost 7# so far. yay!)
Highest Weight ever: 154, Lowest Weight: 115
Goal Weight: 114
When I weighed 115 I was real thin, but still had a little lower belly pooch. Is that genetics? Whenever I see magazines or even people in person at the gym or whatever I generally don't see that pooch on women.
Calories per day: about 1,000 - 1,200.
When I binged, God only knows the thousands of calories I'd eat... Don't even want to think about it.
Exercise: I started slowly going back to the gym. Only went a couple times this week. Need to rev it up to like 4 or 5. Usually split 45 min of cardio between the elliptical and treadmill then do the machine weights. Alternating arms/chest one day and legs the other.

Yes, it's genetics or something. Most women have it to protect important organs and for the time when you get a baby. That's what I've read somewhere...
I think I was quite thin when I weighed 92Ibs but that little lower belly pooch never wanted to go away, even though my ribs were sticking out.

>.< Too true! But also, it's hard to work out the lower abbs; and that might be it. Although, who knows? Maybe you have to get your body fat % really low to get rid of it completely.

I don't really count calories, just sort of ballpark them, but I'd figure somewhere around 1700? Much more on a binge. I was bulimic, purging by vomiting. Though I still ate nutritionally sound after a purge, along with multivitamins and a strong workout regimen. I look muscular and healthy... that being said, I am on the road to a complete recovery since I don't want to have bulimia in my life at all as a band-aid fix to over-eating.

Goal: I don't really havea number for a goal weight pound-wise, but I would like my body fat percentage to be around 17%, which is considered lean, and I am not sure what size that would end up being, maybe like 5? 3? 7? I really have no idea. I just know that I want to look smashing naked.
Ana: In the past, most definitely, but not for a long time. Blech! I hate her, she sucks.
Mia: In the past, also most defiinitely, but also not for a long time, although I've hung out with her more recently than with Ana. She sucks too! Both of them are bitches!
Calories: On my training days, I try to keep a deficit of 500 - 800, which usually works out to me eating around 1200. On my free days, I will let you know because I haven't had a free day yet, but I am imagining something like 3000 or something.
Exercise: 3 - 4 times per week, maybe 3 - 4 hours weekly.

When I weighed 115 I was real thin, but still had a little lower belly pooch. Is that genetics? Whenever I see magazines or even people in person at the gym or whatever I generally don't see that pooch on women.
Yes, it's genetics or something. Most women have it to protect important organs and for the time when you get a baby. That's what I've read somewhere...
I think I was quite thin when I weighed 92Ibs but that little lower belly pooch never wanted to go away, even though my ribs were sticking out.
The secret of these beautiful women in magazines is called Photoshop.
>.< Too true! But also, it's hard to work out the lower abbs; and that might be it. Although, who knows? Maybe you have to get your body fat % really low to get rid of it completely.
My sweetie recently sent me an e-book called "The Truth About Abs" and it talks about getting nice abs and getting rid of that pooch. I can forward it to you if you want, I think it's great! But, in a nutshell, the main gist of it is that you do need to get your body fat percentage down to about 19% AND you need to have developed some ab muscles in order to get a flat, poochless stomach.
Keep in mind that a low total body weight doesn't mean that you have a low body fat percentage. In fact, when you restrict your calories to anything below 1200 per day, you WILL lose weight because your body will store what you eat as fat and will burn your muscle for energy, so you actually get that sort of "skinny-fat" appearance, where you are a small size, but you have flabby areas and no muscle tone.

Normal weight anorexia, purged with exercise. Turned into emotional binge eating and binge drinking. Now I'm trying to focus on portion control, eating between 1600 and 1900 calories daily (I'm breastfeeding). And I'm having such a hard time trying to psych myself into any exercise at all.

Age: 21
Height: 5'7-ish. It has been a WHILE since I've measured.
CW: 190-195... it fluctuates between the two and I'm ashamed to even TYPE that.
GW: I would love to make it to 120, but right now I'm hoping to make it to 150 first.
High: 195
Low: 105 (in high school, my freshman year, I miss it)
I am an over eater when I actually eat. I find that I restrict a few days of the week and ruin it by eating 3500+ calories the other few. I guess that is how I gained all of my weight? My therapist tries to help, but I'm really trying to eat more, but healthier foods, and I don't think she seems to understand that. Lately though I slipped back down, my diet has been dwindling to 500-900 calories depending on the day. Yet another thing I'm trying to change given that it is not nearly enough calories/day. But it is hard. Really hard.

Sex: Female
Age: 30
Height 163 cm/5'4
CW: 52.8 kg (116.5 lbs)
GW: 45.0 kg (100.0 lbs)
HIGH: 59.0 kg (130.0 lbs)
LOW: 41.5 kg ( 91.5 lbs)
Calories: Sigh.. It really depends on my mood. Someday, it's almost none. ( I mean, none...)
but I think it's usually between 300 and 1500. I did suffer from a serious eating disorder back in 2003~2005. I can live a seemingly normal life now, but the disorder is still with me. I don't think it will ever leave me completely though. I don't count calories lately. .. I usually eat one meal a day, (BAD!!!) and start craving for some sugary fatty carb packed little devils at night when I'm NOT really hungry. (WORSE!!!) Sigh. this whole cycle of my eating habit has screwed up my metabolism. OK, My ideal eating habit is to have 3 meals everyday and 1000 calories a day. I'm basically like what Peter, the founder of this website has gone thru. Not exactly like his, but fundamentally the same. Basically, I binge eat for a period of time, then feel horrible about myself, which result in an extreme diet i.e fasting. Longest time I fasted was 13 days, which caused me to faint at work. My friend "abducted" me to a Sushi restaurant and forced me to eat. which I didn't actually refuse because I really felt The DEATH was just a few feet from me. Anyway, I just repeat binging and dieting. But for a little over a year, I have been able to have some periods of time in between when I can be less conscious about what I eat or how I look.
Excercise: I can't go to gym, so I do little things that can be done in my room alone or with a help from my husband. i.e sit-ups, push-ups, reverse crunche, leg lifts, etc. for about 15 min. (Better than nothing!!)
