Here are some songs that really get me motivated:
1. Footloose/Gloria/Flashdance and other stuff from '80's soundtracks
2. Enter Sandman - Metallica
3. Paradise City and Welcome to the Jungle - Guns and Roses
4. ABC - Jackson 5
5. Smooth Criminal/Wanna Be Startin' Something/Don't Stop Til You Get Enough - MJ
6. Time Stand Still - Rush
7. No Sleep Till Brooklyn/Sabotage/Paul Revere - Beastie Boys
8. Up All Night - Slaughter
9. Amadeus - Falco
10. Africa - Toto
11. St. Elmo's Fire - John Parr
12. Pour Some Sugar on Me - Def Leppard
13. Grace Kelly - Mika
That's all I can think of for now:) You can definitely tell I'm a child of the '80's and '90's!!!

Hellrazor, did you ever listen to Pantera? I went through a Pantera phase (I even went to a concert) when I was in high school
Also, I've been meaning to ask you a question. I've read somewhere on here that you lost a great deal of weight in like 7 months. How did you do it? I am still frustrated that I am not losing any weight. I am working out often and I did up my calories (but I really wasn't on a low calorie diet before) but still nothing. So frustrating!!!!

Yeah I used to listen to Pantera but got bored of them in early 90's. Heck I saw them in concert a bunch of times but tired of same drunken antics of theirs. Well yeah I lost a lot of weight from oct 07 through july 08. I used the calculators on here and I read SLY STALLONES book sly moves. I was at the gym 6 days a week on top of morning and night time walks. So hang in there it can't get frustrating but you got to look at the long haul of it. I don't know what your stats are a/w/h or what kinda of working out you are doing. If I had those I could give you a base point on where to start calorie wise

I was a geek back in the day and I thought listening to Pantera made me cool Then, at the concert, I saw my "bad girl" friend smoking something I had never seen before and it scared me back to my good girl ways (lol)!!!
I just got back from the gym - no weight loss again this week!!!! I can see a heck of a lot of muscle underneath all that fat, though!!! AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
Thanks for helping me out, Hellrazor, here are my stats:
33yr old, F, 5'1'' tall, 175lbs
This is what I aim to do each week and mostly I accomplish all of it:
1. Treadmill - 5 days a week @45minutes (usually 3.5 to 4mph with some hills or short jogs (5.2mph) with sprint intervals at 6 or 7mph)
2. T/Th/S - strength train - legs/arms/back/chest (do abs in the mornings - 10 min tape)
3. W/F/S - Walk dog average of 3 miles per day, sometimes 4 - hilly terrain
______________________________________________________________________
Here is other stuff that I do sometimes:
1. I also walk dog for shorter walks - 1.5 miles or so on off days but I don't count that.
2. I have been trying to squeeze in an additional hour on the treadmill in the afternoons if I can. So far I have done it twice (each time getting about 3 miles).
_______________________________________________________________________
I have not been watching what I eat (in terms of fat/carbs/protein) but I am trying to be reasonable and not go overboard. I would say I average between 1500 -2000 cals a day.

Well from what I can see you are doing things right. I would say stay between 1700-2000. Give it some more time it will happen when you are doing what you are doing. Maybe try switching up your cardio routine like try a stair master or a stationary bike. Your body could becoming used what you doing and making it so you work harder to burn same amount of calories. I broke through a plateau this way and never did the same thing more then twice a week at the gym. I was always switching machines and in fact yesterday I did 3 different things in 30 mins. I did 10 min
eliptical, 10 min stair master, 10 bike. Try something like that you will probably break through but hang in there it will happen
