Jamie, you are at a perfectly normal, healthy weight.  Your BMI is 22.3, which is exactly in the normal range, so please don't obssess over weight loss.  Keep active, enjoy yourself.  If you are going to be in forums, try ones for activities and interests you have where you can get your mind off weight.   If it really bothers you, please visit your doctor to discuss it with her/him.

I understand you completely. The charts and the "you wear your weight well" comments just aren't enough for me.

However, I have tried some diets and even cut my calories below 1500 for six months (I am a 6-2, 230 pound male now).

But I still want to be thinner. I understand you, but you have to realize one thing: exercise is the key. You have to kill yourself in the gym, on the tennis court, whatever you like, if you want to get the figure you truly want.

And if you get there, you have to keep at it. I have almost reached my goal (210 pounds) twice now, but failed both times because as I approached it I became complacent and quit exercising.

So here I am again. However, I am working harder than ever in the gym, and playing basketball as much as possible, generally staying off my a$$.

So, if you are really unhappy with your weight, you know what to do.

But if you don't do it, then you must not be that unhappy with your weight.

I just wanted to say I sympathize. As soon as I come close to what I really want (size and weight) I can't seem to get there. So I obsess about it. Just today I couldn't stop thinking about weighing 127.5 when I really want to weigh closer to 120... and I hated the fact that I couldn't get it off my mind. I'm 5'2" so you're probably a touch thinner than I am, but I can completely understand your feeling.
