Hi everyone. I am new here, and I had a question about diet and its effect on breast size. (I know, kinda weird right? ) Someone told me that in order to decrease breast size, you need to lose weight rapidly. However, I am not too sure if it will work, and I don't want to screw up my metabolis THAT much by taking in way too little calories. Currently, my intake on weekdays is around 500 and on weekends, it's 2000. (a big change, but on weekends, people force me to eat).
On my current diet, my breast size is not decreasing fast enough, if at all. Any advice on decreasing chest size?

I have never read anything about your particular question, so I don't know the answer. But here is a more general discussion about "spot reducing."

| Not sure if your male or female. But for me, as I lost fat, I lost boobs. I went from a "D" to a "B". I've always had a chest, so for me loosing my boobs has been kinda upsetting but I figure later on down the road I can always get them back surgically. This transformation didn't happen overnight. Good luck in your efforts.

Oh, I am a female, lol.
My goal is to get from a B/C to an A. Is that possible?

| I'm not sure about the boob thing. I'm not an expert just know what happened to me. I am sure that 500 calories is too little for any day. Your body will think it is starving and store the fat. You will loose weight but it will probably be more muscle mass than anything else. Not a very healthy way to go.

| As I lost weight I lost my breasts as well, I went from DD to a C. It will happen after awhile.

| It happens even when one loses weight very slowly. On the danger of touching a TMI topic, you'd want to make sure you keep them in shape during a diet. ;) Pressing your hands together in a "praying" way in front of your chest, for 2 seconds at a time, 10-20 times, is one of the shower exercises that can help.

| OK...maybe it is me, but everyone that I know that has lost weight...loses it in the chest area. Maybe because it's fat tissues? Also I know that when I gained weight, I went from a C to a D. I'm sure over time your breast size will decrease with the weight loss.

| You can't spot reduce. You can do chest exercises which firms your breast. You should lower you breast size by just losing weight.

If you are a healthy weight then it wouldn't be a healthy thing to do. It would work but it wouldn't be worth it for the increased risk of disease it would bring you.
If you are unhealthily low weight then gaining weight is a good idea.
Incidentally, breast development can be stunted if you were undernourished as a teenager, for example if you suffered from anorexia at the time. I know someone that fit that description who now, as an adult, has had breast augmentation surgery to compensate.

Supplemental to previous replies:
Breast tissue is largely adipose or fat. There is an amount of glandular tissue, relevant for lactation, but largely breasts are composed of fat. Breast size is governed by body weight fat proportions, gravity and also by genetics. If your Mum had big boobs when she was thin it is likely that you will too. However, if you are desperate to reduce your breast size, you will definitely see a reduction if you reduce weight SENSIBLY. Remember that as breasts are largely composed of fat crash dieting may severely damage the shape of your breasts, making them droop or leaving them looking like a tennis ball in a sock (something that often happens when all the fat is depleted leaving the skin and glandular tissue).
Please don't be disheartened. If the worst comes to the worst, there are excellent supportive bras (and not all of them look as if they were designed to supplement support onthe Golden Gate Bridge) and as a very last resort - surgery (not for everyone, I know).

As has been, said breasts are made up of glandular and adipose tissue. Exercise affects muscle so whether or not you do chest exercises will have little effect on how large or small your breasts are. However, by firming the pectoral muscles under the breast it's possible to make small breasts look a little larger and perkier. I have D-cup breasts and I'm afraid no amount of pectoral development is enough to support breasts of a larger size. Gravity has much more effect than than the underlying muscle.
When I gain or lose weight, even by as much as 50 to 60 pounds, I still remain a D cup, although when my weight is down I am a saggier and less full looking D. Everyone is different though, and many women do lose fat in their breasts more readily than I.
I'm wondering why you would want to be an A-cup, which is smaller than average, unless you hope to become very thin indeed? I also wonder why girls get implants to make themselves larger than average. If your weight is slim, then a B cup is a nice proportionate size. If you are heavier, then a C or D will look nicely balanced with your hip or waist size. Audrey Hepburn was a good example of an extremely thin woman with proportionate AA-size breasts. Before getting implants girls should keep in mind that her overall impression will be as a heavier person. I remember when "Ally McBeal" was getting lots of media attention for being too thin. At the same time Pamela Anderson was getting lots of attention for her figure too, but no one seemed to notice that she was actually thinner than Calista. All attention was on her implants.
Implants after mastectomy or other physical problems seem fine to me but I just know I would never undergo implant surgery simply to please the sexual fetishes of men. That's a little too close to Chinese women and 19th century foot binding for me.

HCG Diet protocol directs you always about the perfect diet. i love the way it works towards weight loss. The HCG eating plan is particularly restrictive through with don’t just the number of calories you may consume per day, but what types of foods makes up many calories.
this item is helping you to control and decrease your breast size and also body size
