What are some foods you have discovered that you loved since starting eating healthily?
For me, it's definitely Kashi cereals!! They are so delicious!

Yeah, Kashi stuff is great! I get the cereal with the fiber twigs, since it's the healthiest. It's all right - nothing some cinnamon can't fix, LOL. The Honey Almond Flax is very delicious, and so are the bars.
Because of this, I finally tried fresh rather than canned pineapple, and it is delicious! I've also reawakened my fondness for grapes.
I've never been a huge fan of chicken, but with my sister's lemon chicken recipe, that changed.
Eating healthy is really manageable, and I like most of the things that I eat.

My two biggest ones were walnuts and fish. I use to eat fish growing up all the time. But, my kids and husband won't eat it. So, I didn't eat it for years. Now I have fish a couple of times a week or more.
Walnuts were something we ate at my grandmas growing up and when she passed I never ate them anymore. So, thats been nice, re-discovering them.
I have to agree on the honey flax bars- they are very good. But, I get different granola bars all the time. I have to mix it up or I get bored with them.
I still struggle eating cereal everyday. I am just not a cereal person. So, my new quest is to find some other ways of getting my oats without the cereal all the time.

I really love cherries, I wasn't much of a fruits and veggies person before but now I really am, and instead of salad I've learned to love spinach.
As far as cereals go I love oatmeal, I could eat oatmeal three times a day.

Wish I could do oatmeal. I like in other things, like cookies and stuff. But, I just can't eat it for breakfast.
I have found that I have a great love for broccoli, now. I use to hate it....lol isn't it funny how you change over the years in eating habbits.
I also found when I was a kid, I hated mushrooms. I can't live without them now.

How true! I never liked broccoli much as a kid but now I find that I love it and I eat it every day for lunch.

| I love steamed broccoli with cauliflower, before I changed my diet I would need salt or something else to dress up my veggies now I can eat them raw or cooked without any sauces or salt.

Oh there's a bunch:
1) Lean Turkey Breast Strips / Chicken Breast Strips
These are really high in protein, and low in calories with absolutely no fat. I don't really add any garnish to them, its basically 1 slice for 140 cal and 28g of protein, 0 from fat. Its a really good deal for meeting my daily protein targets, and having healthy food that is low on fat and natural
2) Tofu: same as above
3) Fruit Cups: Safeway sells these fruit cups that are basically 70-80 cal, 0 fat. Personal favorites are grapefruit and citrus medley. These are really filling and taste great. They fill my cravings for a snack.
4) Fruits: Apples, Bananas, and Raspberries. Yes, raspberries. They are amazing snacks.
