The last few days I have been trying really hard to focus on eating healthy and exercising. It seems I just keep eating more the more I think about it.
Do, you think you can focus to much and eat because of it?
I don't know how to explain it, but it seems I am thinking about what healthy foods to eat and end up eating more than I should. As to where if I was doing something else that didn't involve food, I don't eat as much.
Does anyone else do this?

Yes. And conversely on ocassions when I'm busy, I'll still find time to eat, but be less obsessive about it. I keep my target calories constant (i.e. I will meet the target I set in the morning by bedtime) but if I have more time to eat I'll tend to pick lower-calorie foods so I can spend more time eating them, using food as a sort of entertainment.
If you're not keeping calories constant, that would be even worse...

oh you are definately not alone on this one. not at all. it seems like the more i try to keep everything in check, the more i go over. the more i want it, the more i do to sabotage it. really, i don't understand it, but that's how my mind works. if i knew what to tell you, i would be taking my own advice. all i can say is that I am going through the exact same thing right now myself.
i have been trying to figure out how to not think of food for a while and i just can't. maybe it's time to focus on something else for a little while? now that you have the basics down (eating healthy, exercizing), just make working out part of your day and find something else that doesn't involve food to focus on? i am working on that one myself....

I think I am at the moment. I feel at the end of the day because I've done all that I can. Plus I'm scared that tomorrow the scale will not have budged or that my inches on the 31st will have stayed the same. I am obsessed now but I can understand why I am. I am tired of standing still or going backwards.

That is exactly what I am talking about. I do really well on the weekends. I think cause I am busy doing stuff and don't think about what's for lunch.
Like last weekend I got busy making some old jeans into shorts. I didn't even eat until later afternoon.
I also, get alot more sleep on the weekends, which I think helps also.
Maybe that's the key, stay busy and get more sleep. I don't know.

Staying busy and getting more sleep definately works great for me!
But unfortunately I'm usually thinking about food and how to avoid it and what to eat the whole day and sometimes I think that just thinking about food makes me hungry earlier!
So yes, you can focus on weight loss too much. ^^

Absolutely yes! Before I started any 'lifestyle change' I ate what I wanted, but never over ate. Now that I'm concentrating on the healthy foods, I want everything in sight! I could possibly be eating MORE calories NOW than I was before because of this.
ie. "Nuts are healthy!!! ... Uh oh, I just had 600 calories of peanuts.. dammit!!"

LOL, I know I struggle with nuts also. They are so good for you, but so high in calories.
