Hey all. Just some questions on the track I'm on.
- I really don't eat breakfast because I get up at around 1 or 2 in the afternoon.
(I go to bed late...and if I do happen to get up early...say around 8 or 9, I get bored cuz I'm stuck in the house...then I tend to eat when I'm bored.
Thursday night is wing night at a pub I go to. I can't help myself. They are the best bbq wings EVER!!! I get 2 dozen, but that may be a little extreme. I know I could cut it down to 1 dozen, but I was wondering if that is such a bad thing on my diet since I do cardio and weight training every other day. I gotta eat after all.
I also eat white bread...not sure if I should switch.Last edited on 20 August 2007 06:11 am by

Calories in chicken wings vary depending on how they are prepared. For example (using the calorie counter on this website)
Chicken, wing, meat only, roasted
1 wing, 0.74 oz=21 g
42.6 calories
Chicken, wing, meat & skin, fried in flour
1 wing, 1.1 oz=32g
102.7 calories
Chicken, wing, meat & skin, fried in batter
1 wing, 1.7 oz=49 g
158.8 calories
It would help if you read Why Healthy Food Makes You Slim.
Do you count calories? Probably a good idea to aim for around 2000.
Why skip breakfast?
Have you thought about changing from white bread to whole-grain bread?

thanks for the response Nir!
The wings aren't fried in flour or batter or anything...they just have bbq sauce on them.
Yes...I have been considering switching to whole-grain bread...how much of a difference does that make?

To be honest, not as much of a change as re-focusing from grain products (breads, cereals, rice, pasta etc.) to vegetables fruits and beans/lentils.
