Hi,
I am very confused about if after you exercise, do you lose vitamins/minerals?Today I exercised for about three hours, but didnt eat that much during the early part of the day, but at night I felt this "emptyness" in my body, is it because of lack of macronutrients or did I lose vitamins/minerals during the exercise?

You lose nutrients whether you exercise or not. You only lose a tiny bit more nutrients when you exercise. Everyday you need your RDA.
You might have a little protein and foods with antioxidants (fruits/veggies w/vits C+A) after you work out. These will help your muscles feel better the next day.

| If you are working out for 3 hours streight you really need to make sure you eat protien and carbs after wards. Also I sometimes take a great electrolye product after my workouts called STAMINA. It really helps me. Gatorade has too much sugar for me.
