| It seems like the # of posts per page in the diaries just doubled. Did I accidentally hit a setting somewhere or was this a CPH change? There are so many posts on a page now that you really have to scroll down a lot. Don't like it at all. Please let me know.

| I found the same thing as well, so I'm guessing it's a CPH change.

Well, I guess you didn't like my idea!
We discussed it and thought it would be an improvement. I don't understand why you would prefer smaller pages and more paging?
I increased the number of posts per page from 25 to 50, and topics per forum index from 50 to 100.
Yes, you have to scroll down a lot to get to the 50th post. But before wouldn't you have had to scroll to the bottom of one page, paged to the next, then scrolled down?
BTW, I use the End key on my keyboard to JUMP to the bottom of a forum page.
It can easily be changed back. Let's see what other input we get.
Thanks,
Peter

I like it better too...instead of my diary having 50+ pages, I 'only' have 26 now! I don't feel like such a blabbermouth.

I strongly dislike it but I guess I am in the minority so far.
If I am trying to keep up with people's diaries I end up having to scroll wayyyyy down instead of just jumping to the most recent page. It gets annoying and makes it harder to find specific posts.
Peter one website I go to allows you to set the # of posts displayed per page as a user preference, so it can per different depending on what you like. I don't like more than 20 per page. Can you consider doing this?

Sorry, but I didn't develop the software and don't have that flexibility. It's one setting for all.
We'll see what some others say. Sorry it can't be just what everyone wants.
BTW, I've been scrolling down for years and only yesterday discoverd the End key on my keyboard. What a timesaver to get to the last post on a page... no matter how long.

What about the green "down" arrow next to the page number links? Aren't they supposed to take you to the bottom of the last page?

| Exactly what CM said....no need to scroll down...just click on the green arrow next to the last page number and it will bring you down the bottom to the most recent post!

I'm obviously in the minority. I'll learn to cope. Thanks.
