If you have a topic that can "stand on its own two feet," don't post it as a reply to someone else's topic. Start a new topic of your own.
This could apply even if you just want to ask a question. People look through the forum for topics that interest them, and you could have an interesting question that will be overlooked if it's posted as a reply to another topic.
When you do post a new topic, but sure to carefully choose the appropriate Category and Forum.
And lastly, be sure the topic title is clear and to the point. For example, "What foods fill you up?" or "I can't lose the last 5 pounds!"
Topics like "Help!" and "Please help me!" get really old, and don't tell the others what your subject matter is. Besides, we all need help or we wounldn't be here!
If you have any questions, send us an e-mail and we'll be glad to help.
