I like the taste of salsa verde (Mexican green sauce) and its very healthy. I wanted to try a way to some on my salad today so I ended up blending 2/3 salsa verde with 1/3 ranch dressing. It was pretty good but probably needs some fine-tuning.
What really I liked was that it really cut the calorie count overall so I was able to use more dressing on my salad than my usual 1 tablespoon.
If anyone has any other suggestions of a 'base' salad dressing to mix it with, I'd love your ideas.
